I came here for burger week with some friends & family. I had the Southern Seoul Burger which is smoked prime rib atop an Angus patty with kimchee mayo, crispy vidalia onions, and provolone cheese between a rosemary roll, cooked to order. The burger was pretty good, I ranked it 4th out of the burgers I had that week. Bar700 is located inside the Holiday Inn, with inside and outside seating. The inside looked nice, clean, and modern. There are TVs inside and out, and a lot of football games were showing while I was there. Service was good, our server took good care of us. Outside was dirty and smoky. There was a broken glass under a chair, and it looked like it never gets cleaned. I almost gave a three star rating, BUT due to the burger being creative and good, I rounded up to for stars. Next time, I'll sit inside for sure! The kids ate for free that day, and the burgers were on special for $5 (which we split in half), so 4 adults and two kids ate for $10.70 plus tip. Not a bad deal

I enjoyed the burger and the service. The outside area is a little gritty and smokey, but otherwise this is a fun place to grab a bite. There is fruit water in the lobby.. They have an activity placemat for kids. Impressive grub for a hotel.

Order was incorrect and it was hard to communicate with the waitress due to lack of English. The front desk did refund my money.

Worst service I've EVER received at a restaurant. Server was so rude. Ate there at lunch time on Jan 18th 2019.

Located inside the Floridian Palace historic hotel in downtown Tampa. This hotel bar serves food!…read moreWe started with drinks and our server seemed to be running the whole place from bar to tables and back. At first it wasn't noticeable because there were only about 2 tables when we arrived but as the night progressed and the bar got busier, we had to wait for extended amounts of time for her to return to our table. We shared the truffle tots as an appetizer and they were delicious and perfect fried. I got the chicken Cesar wrap for my meal. Overall it was good, nothing special and honestly it was pretty bizarre to have croutons in a wrap. The fries were good but nothing beat those tots. We had a credit from The hotel to dine and our waitress once she learned this got immediately defensive and basically told us in many ways that we were lying and couldn't use the credit. After much back & forth with her she finally got in touch with management and changed her tune when she returned to our table to tell us she was mistaken and it was taken care of. Definitely not appropriate customer service at all on her part. We paid the reminder of our checks, tipped on the total minus our credit and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The atmosphere was very chill, but not like it was trying too hard, which made me comfortable enough to truly enjoy the music. My server was phenomenal. I visited for the first time on a Thursday evening and left with mixed feelings…read more The venue itself is beautiful. It's clean, thoughtfully designed, and has a polished aesthetic without feeling overdone. The staff were friendly throughout my visit. The hostess explained there was a $25 charge for table seating but also let me know I was welcome to sit at the bar at no additional cost. The bartender was equally transparent and made sure I knew the 20% gratuity had already been included before I closed my tab. Those interactions stood out and were genuinely appreciated. The music was another positive. The DJ had a great ear for song selection, and the playlist fit the space well. While I personally enjoy DJs who blend and transition tracks more heavily, the music itself kept a good vibe throughout the evening. Where my experience became less positive was the overall atmosphere. When I arrived, there was a line outside, and I waited a few minutes before being let in. Once inside, there seemed to be plenty of space available, so I wasn't entirely sure what the wait was for. It may simply be part of how the venue manages entry, but it left me a little confused. The crowd is probably best described as curated. Everyone looked great, and there was an obvious appreciation for music and style. At the same time, I didn't experience much of the social energy I usually associate with a lounge. One observation that stood out was the ratio of women to men, which seemed heavily weighted toward women that evening. The men who were there largely kept to themselves, so if someone is visiting with the expectation of a highly social environment, their experience may be different than expected. From a value perspective, parking ended up costing $17 which was more than the posted price ($12) , and my lemon drop came to $36 with the included gratuity. To be fair, I'm not sure I'd ever be comfortable spending $36 on a single lemon drop, regardless of the venue. That's simply my personal threshold. When an evening starts to reach that price point, I naturally expect the overall experience to feel equally memorable. This venue clearly has an audience, and I can understand why. If you're looking for a stylish space, a well-dressed crowd, and a thoughtfully curated playlist, this may be exactly what you're after. I don't know if I would revisit this one or suggest.. maybe for a one off special occasion for a pregame , an expensive pregame, but you'll get some cool pictures. As a tourist from Atlanta that goes out often this one, misses the mark for me just a bit. A spot that potentially could be comparable in Georgia is Jojos beloved. Alter ego has a cool factor, but it's definitely missing something. Very instagramable

What a DOPE, PIRATE THEMED, speakeasy to go to grab some delicious drinks! (Auto flash is needed for pics) The joint, is VERY CLEAN! The staff is awesome and very attentive! They understand process. The drinks are SOOO WELL MADE! I had a Zombie as my first drink, and it is very well presented and STRONG! I prefer,my first drink at an establishment to be strong cause then I can lighten it up later. Then I had a Rum Barrel, not as strong, but well presented and delicious! Note: Prices for drinks are worth every dime! They have a small food menu, but everything on the menu looked delicious, but I did not eat there. This speakeasy is attached to a British pub which I went for food after. (Review to come) All-in-all great spot to come and have a drink you are well treated, appreciated and just a fun experience! I will DEFINITELY come back here for a delicious drink and DEFINITELY will try something off the food menu. I'll just make sure next time I won't go there after a big breakfast lol!
