One of the many perks of the Epicurean Hotel is its swanky rooftop bar that is excellent for night time hangouts, especially if you stay at the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my extra dirty gin martinis that were made for me as my lady enjoyed the gin and tonics. They have grassy backdrops, perfect for selfie taking. My best friend and I were in Tampa for my birthday trip and we originally wanted to go to the Beacon rooftop however they're extorting you at the JW valet parking 50$ I'm like uhm to go up and spend more on overpriced drinks no. They said they would validate parking for half off ... still a no for me, so we ended up at the Epicurean hotel which was also valet parking but was only 10$ edge was understated cool for me. I liked the vibes but it wasn't too busy (it was only a Tuesday night around 6 pm) I liked it because it was a pretty atmosphere not super great views but still nice and I absolutely loved my drink it was under the zero proof cocktails passion fruit deliciousness. Stopped by for a drink at this rooftop before a nearby dinner reservation! The valet is complimentary before 7pm which was perfect! The valets were very kind and even kept my car at the front since I was only going to be an hour or so (make sure to tip them! :) ) The manager pointed me to the elevator towards the back which goes directly to the roof! It was great and beautiful views! They have a covered and uncovered portion, which makes it great in the event of rain. They also have a nice happy hour which I wasn't expecting! Beautiful bar/hotel in Tampa however very dead and not that many people visiting. The food is pricy on the bar menu but tasted very salty. They can definitely improve their food. This rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise after visiting the Elevage restaurant downstairs! It wasn't crowded, so a nice location to grab a drink and enjoy the outdoors. We just ordered champagne and relaxed. They may have similar happy hour options as downstairs, but I didn't receive a menu at the bar. You can't see much of the sky view, due to the brick wall surrounds, unless you stand up; so don't expect panoramic views. But a nice combo with the two restaurants in the same building. read more

Great rooftop bar in Tampa! Stopped in on a Wednesday night on a whim after finding it online and it was perfect for the occasion. There is valet parking for the hotel that you can use to get to Edge as well, I believe it was $5. When you enter the hotel, there are elevators in the back to take you up to the rooftop, as the regular elevators in the front won't work without your room key. The receptionists are helpful to point you in the right direction if you need help too! The bartender working was super nice and made the night extra special. I wish I could remember his name but he was 22 so if a manager is reading this, he's awesome! Drinks were really good and cute with dried fruit. The rooftop is mostly covered but has some uncovered parts as well, with plenty of seating throughout (and a few tables). I can imagine the place gets pretty busy but it wasn't too bad when I went. I believe they also serve food if you want it! I definitely recommend Edge for a fun night on a rooftop! read more

I really enjoyed EDGE. Another rooftop bar in Tampa with a great view! They have plenty of seating and they don't have any reserved tables so it's first come first serve. We got there around 7:50pm and it wasn't that busy yet so we got seats and drinks were make rather quickly. I had a passion margarita and it had a little kick to it but refreshing at the same time with the mixer they use. It was a very good margarita and went down very nicely. Sooo the EDGE Rooftop Cocktail Lounge was relaxing with a chill vibe to have a drink. I was searching for a rooftop bar given the COVID situation. I was able to grab my own table next to the pretty views. The drink selection was good but pricy. I was okay with paying for the ambience and the drinks were tasty. They have a few finger food items but I ended up eating at the restaurant downstairs after. The waitresses were very attentive and checked on me often. This is such a cute spot with great drink options. I enjoyed the E75 which was so good! The bar itself is a bit small but they have a lot of cozy seating spots. This isn't my go to rooftop bar in Tampa but it's definitely worth checking out! They normally open at 5 but the day I went there happened to be rain at around 4 this caused them to push opening back until 6:30. When we arrived at 6 the front desk staff told us it would open at 6 so head right back up. However it did not open for 30 more minutes so we had to wait in the hallway with no seating area for quite a while. Keep in mind if you go: if there is lightning in the area they will close the bar and kick you out. The only parking option is valet and if you leave after 7 it costs $5. read more

Always a nice time at Edge. Great views, great service, great cocktails. The drinks run about $15 a cocktail which is a bit pricy but they are hand crafted cocktails more than just a simple mojito or old fashioned. They actually add interesting ingredients and garnishes and you're paying for the ambience. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a chill rooftop vibe. It's a lot quieter/chiller vibe than a rooftop like Rocca just across the street which can get really busy. read more

The food is nothing to write home about but the bar and atmosphere are great. I would recommend this place for a cocktail early in the evening. Lovely rooftop bars at the Epicurian Hotel in Soho Tampa. It's a small space, but it's nicely laid out. A small bar with a few chairs, and then couches and tables to one side. We went on a Saturday night around 9 pm. It wasn't overly crowded but there was a section of the space that was sectioned off for a function. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food. I believe they only had a small selection of "small bites" available at the time. Our bartender was super sweet. Love the renovated rooftop bar. We enjoy coming here for craft cocktails after dinner downstairs. I was very impressed with a drink I had last time we visited that was supposed to taste like a salad. I see from other reviews a lot of people compare this as "the Canopy" rooftop bar of Tampa but I don't think you can compare the two. First, this rooftop deck bar not facing towards the water, so if you wanted that water view, I suggest you go to Harbor Island, hit up Jackson or American Social type of places. I didn't even know a rooftop bar existed in SoHo so I was excited that my friend knew about it after we wrapped up our great Elevage HH downstairs. It was Thursday night but we were able to find a table and order right away. We ordered two cocktails and two appetizers-- I got a gin gimlet and smoked chicken wings. The gin gimlet was so refreshing! And went perfectly with the breezy summer weather we had last night. They goofed up with my order and first got me smoked deviled eggs-- but they let us keep it while they worked on my wings! SCORE! The deviled eggs (although only 3, which means it was only 1.5 eggs) was delicious, but I wouldn't order it since I don't think the quantity matches the price. But last night, we got to enjoy them complementary. Once the wings came out, it was excellent-- smokey, well-cooked. Delicious. My friend got a blackberry tequila cocktail and liked it a lot too. "Very unique flavor," she said. She got duck lettuce wraps and there were generous portions. I really liked the laid back ambiance and the atmosphere. The bubble sculpture was well enjoyed, as you can tell from my selfies. It is less busier than Fly Bar (although it wasn't the weekend, so maybe it's not a good comparison), but I think this place deserves some props in SoHo. read more

The seating options are great and it would be good for a party or two or twelve. The menu at the bar was limited and not very appealing to me personally. I was very unimpressed with the service. There were two men working but it seemed like they were not allowed to make drinks so they just awkwardly stood around. There were also two female bartenders who were very chatty with each other and not paying close attention to their customers, myself included. The best part of the evening was the music. DeJohn had the best playlist for a laid back rooftop vibe and my friend and I kept commenting to each other how we liked this song or pulled our phone out to get the name and artist.
