An online request was met with a same day call back and I was on the books for the following week. We had a certified arborist (Taylor Hunt) come out to do the evaluation vs. a sales guy (who knows everything) and the initial consult was free! Our arborist was professional and to the point. Did a quick walkthrough and focused on answering all my questions. He was knowledgeable and his action plan seemed the most sound and it didn't come across as he was trying to add different treatment plans to make some more $$. Overall Davey worked out to be the cheapest. It took a bit to get scheduled for the actual service (tree fungicide application): you have to approve the estimate through the arborist and then the office will call you back to schedule. Had I not called, I would have just been waiting and wondering. Anyways, got the first fungicide application done, which was seamless. Their portal is easy to navigate and make payments etc. I would highly recommend them!

I amateur guess was that the job would take a full day (or more) but work was finished by about 1:30 in the afternoon (which included a complete cleanup of all of the areas that had been affected in front and back yards). The company rep who provided the estimate (which we thought was very reasonable) was Dan Johns, a certified arborist. Lastly, the final bill was the same amount as the estimate.

Tree removed carefully and he took photos of the roof for me. The yard was cleaned up and you couldn't tell all that had happened. They put the tarps back up to cover every hole in the roof. Cesar, the arborist that came to do the inspection and estimate for this work tried to do the pruning in a way that did no harm to any of the trees involved. One neighbor needed to have a 'weight reduction' on two trees as they were tall and swayed quite a bit in high winds. This service took about 15% off upper limbs, which also reduced the strain on the root system. There is a definite reduction of fear that these trees might come down in a bad storm. The other neighbor needed one 'dead' tree removed, and another live tree removed as it was leaning over a neighbor's property. The crew that did all of this work was there on time (actually early), Each worker was aware of the scope of work to be done. They were very efficient as each worker had an assigned task. The climbers used all of the safety equipment I could have imagined being necessary. Cleanup was very thorough, and left the properties in the same or better condition than when the job was started. Please note that Atlanta Arbor is covered with both liability as well as workers comp insurance coverage. I will certainly use them again as the need arises.
