First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event…read more I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal!

The selections available are wide and varied, more meat, poultry, and seafood choices then I have ever seen anyplace, and the prices were very good and competitive. I tried the paella, very tasty, and the gnocchi, my favorite! The duck slider was out of this world. If everything tastes as good as the samples I tried, then I couldn't recommend a stop at Wild Fork more! It's a destination worth seeking out and you won't be disappointed. I bought several items(the gnocchi of course) and can't wait to try them out at home.Kudos to Jessica and Marissa, another winner!

Adding Hmong fusion to the lot:…read more On a sunday afternoon, hopping with people. The restaurant is located way in the back of Hmong Town. You order from the counter, and they will bring the food to yohu. I saw many Asian families eating humongous bowls of pho, and they looked quite good. I will have to try some time. On my particular visit, though, we weren't really hungry, and just wanted a snack. We went with eggrolls and beef intestines, but their sausages and stuffed chicken wings (bones removed and stuffed with eggroll stuffing) also looked so good. Eggrolls ($1.50) I've had some exceptional Hmong eggrolls, so i know these aren't the best out there, though it wasn't bad. I wasn't sure whether they had run out when we got there or whether it's just their practice, but they started rolling and cooking the eggrolls after we ordered them. So it took about 15 minutes to get them. It was steaming hot and good, but again, the flavors weren't the best i've had, and it was a bit more on the heavy side with the cabbage. With this in mind, I'm not sure that I'll try their stuffed wings, cuz they probably use the same in there. Beef intestines ($8) Steep on the price, but surprisingly good!!! Got me wowed! Not for those who don't like intestines, obviously, but I've had my share and these are good! They are a bit bigger pieces and intestines are very chewy, so they can get a bit tough to chew. But they had no smell, flavors were on the money, and i couldn't have asked for better. I did take half of it home, and warmed up on the air fryer and cut them more into bite sizes, and it was even better. Would get again!

After having a great…read moretime at the Fond Du Lac farmers market and getting a couple great items I looked around for a new Sunday farmers market and I found this one. I drove over from off Lisbon ave and I saw no farmers market so I drove around the whole park and it's all the way in the back. I still almost missed it because it's very small. I had some fresh ribs and cabbage in the slow cooker and I wanted a nice fresh vegetable side to go with it, to my surprise I couldn't find anything because it was mostly flowers, greens, sweets, salsa and basically nothing veggie wise as a side dish, see my pictures. This was the most useless farmers market and all I left with was a pork egg roll that was very average.

A musician was playing some music, giving this market a nice relaxed ambiance. Check out the Magic Garden sculpture, and there's a nice small playground and water spout area for the kids. Oh, and set your Google Maps for the exact address, as "Enderis Park" will land you blocks away, in the middle of said neighborhood.
