Main disconnect switch at the panel box would not turn back on, after having been shutoff for a DIY ceiling fan installation. Vince Barbagallo arrived within 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon! Vince diagnosed the issue, restored power to the home, and will perform replacement of the broken panel switch as soon as the part is available. A crisis was averted. There is a tremendous value to having an electrician available for an emergency. It is very difficult to find an electrician on short notice, especially on a weekend. After he left I could see EXPOSED WIRES and hour later I smelled burning wire ,job not done as he promised. We had hired Barbagallo Electrical to install a medium-sized chandelier in our dining room. First contact with Vince was really pleasant - he was kind, informative and direct. Even the technicians that came out to the service site were very friendly and professional. However, due to scheduling conflicts they left before we were able to review their job - which was less than ideal. We called Vince back explaining that we weren't satisfied with the job as the chandelier looked noticably slanted and uneven. He was able to relay what the technicians had explained to him (as to why it was that way) but promised to come back and fix the job as he wanted us to be satisfied! We had set another appointment to get this fixed, and were met with a no-show. Unfortunately, it's now been almost a week since he stated he would come back to the house and despite multiple attempts to contact him we've not been able to get a hold of him to fix the job. While the people at Barbagallo Electrical were pleasant upfront, this has been a very unprofessional, and now even more expensive experience. Cannot reccomend Barbagallo Electrical. read more

I will never do business with this company for the primary reason that their company truck was driving recklessly on the 51 and I-10 from downtown Phoenix to Tempe today. After tailing us, they switched lanes every minute without signaling and tailed every single person in front of him. I tried calling the company # on the truck but it went to a full Voice mail box. This is the first time I have ever written a complaint about company drivers. He was so reckless, we almost called the police. For someone who represents a service company to behave this way certainly doesn't represent my values and I'll do business elsewhere. read more

I called Barbagallo Electric to disconnect a broken external pond pump. I called on a Monday and he and his crew came to complete the job quickly--in just 2 days. They showed up wearing masks..which was thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised that in addition to disconnecting the electric (which is all I asked) they actually cut out and removed the pump. The job was completed quickly and they left everything clean, even raking the area after digging. In addition, Vince, the owner was pleasant to work with, he took the time to go over what he'd done, as small a job as it was and his price was reasonable. I would use him again. read more

I saw this company's van in Scottsdale on the 101 between Cactus and Raintree and was catching their phone number for a panel upgrade quote when the driver just started merging a few lanes over and cut right in front of me to make the exit onto Raintree. Really unsafe (enough for me to come here and comment). No blinker, no acknowledgement, and 1/2 a car length. Just like two others who have previously reviewed for poor driving, I call these reviews valid because if the driver/electrician/owner? drives like this, how thorough and detailed would they be on the job. Nope. If you're the owner, please take "a round turn" on the crappy driving. It's unsafe, unprofessional, and if you truly do good work, emphasize quality of performance both on the job and on the road. read more

The owner, Vince, came to our house and gave us an estimate while he knew we were in rush. We agreed that he comes and start the job the day after but he disappeared. I called him couple of times and he didn't reply. I called him with another number, he picked up the call and said call me tomorrow. Guess what? He didn't pick up the phone again. I had two electricians out to fix a problem with a GFI breaker & kitchen light issue. Both could not fix the problem. The second guy told me about Barbagallo Electric. They QUICKLY found the problem, replaced 2 GFI outlets, fixed loose conduit attachment & retired another light switch all about an hour & changed a very fair price. Vincent called me back the same day and was able to run by and give me an estimate the same day. this quote was great and fair and we sent up electrical job for the next day. him and his crew came by mid morning and they took a few hours or so (I had a medium size job) and finished in late afternoon. they did a better job then expected, I was amazed and they craftmanship is superb, and they were very professional. i would recommend Barbagallo for any of your electrical needs. We were so hoping to use a local electrician. We called this business twice and made an appointment, which was a no-show.

We used Barbagallo Electric to install a 220v, 50 amp service for a hot tub hookup. The work was exceptional. You do not see any conduit at all. Vinnie was genius! He ran the conduit from our main panel, under a sidewalk, under the hot tub pad, into a hole he drilled in the hot tub base pan into the cabinet. I wish I could upload photos. read more

I will never work with a company with such unprofessional people who have no pride in the company they work for and no respect nor care for those around them. I try to keep my business local to Fountain Hills, so I called 4 different electricians in the area for a bid to add a sub-panel in my garage and hot tub connection in the backyard. Barbagallo Electrical was the first to respond and show up to provide a quote. Two of the others did not respond. The quote I received was reasonable and the work was done quickly and professionally. The owner, Vince, oversaw the entire job and the guys he had working for him where very competent and respectful. If you've ever waited all day for a service person, then you know it's inconvenient but they DO eventually arrive or call. Not these guys! Barbagallo Electric was recommended by the previous owners of my home. Vincent was friendly and happy to schedule an appointment. There was no "window of time" established, but he agreed to call an hour prior to arrival. I waited all day and nobody came or called. I called the next day and he apologized and rescheduled for the following Monday OR Tuesday. I waited BOTH days and they still didn't show! Months afterward I actually tried again. I left a message and Vincent replied three days later. He said he would've called sooner but had mistaken the area code....So I scheduled an appearance and AGAIN he was a no-show. Was I on Candid Camera? That was a Friday, so the following week I sent a text expressing my frustration and said it was some consolation knowing I could submit an online review in hopes of saving others from similar grief and inconvenience. He responded immediately with an offer to come that day or first thing the next morning. My only thought was how many people would he have to stand up to actually make it? It's inconceivable that a business would pull such a stunt repeatedly and only "guarantee satisfaction" if they think it might otherwise result in negative publicity. read more
