LA Fitness (struggle fitness) typically maintains a consistent standard nationwide, but this location is by far the worst I've visited. The restrooms are poorly maintained, the shower heads barely produce enough water pressure to rinse off, the pool was uncomfortably warm, and the facility lacks a jacuzzi, dry sauna, wet sauna, towel service, and dedicated glute or PT areas. I'd strongly recommend visiting another location instead.

Lisette is an awful manager. Talks down to you, condescending, rude. She'll respond on here like things are fine or she's working on it and then ghost you like a 14 year old. Bottom line: unclean and completely unprofessional. It'll sneak up and bite you in the butt. Don't waste your time.

She stepped up with strong leadership, effectively acting in a regional manager capacity to ensure all areas were clear and safe. She made sure personnel exited the building properly and moved to a safe location. A few of the machines are starting to show their age and could use an upgrade, but everything still works and gets the job done. I downloaded the free one-week pass and, unfortunately, had to leave on a work trip before I could use it. I returned exactly one week later and stopped by, believing I would still be able to use the pass since I had never actually visited an EOS gym before. Instead of working with me or showing any flexibility, the supervisor, Cisco, immediately insisted that I would need to purchase a $40 day pass. When I explained that I had been out of state on business and had never used the guest pass, he claimed the computer showed that I had visited another EOS location. That was impossible, as I was in Mississippi on the date he referenced. What was most disappointing wasn't the pass issue itself--it was the way the situation was handled. There was no attempt to understand the circumstances, verify the information, or find a reasonable solution for a potential new customer. The conversation escalated to the point where Cisco stated that he was "denying me service" rather than trying to resolve what appeared to be a misunderstanding. First impressions matter, and this was a terrible one. A gym that values customer service should be willing to listen, investigate obvious discrepancies, and treat prospective members with respect. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Needless to say, I won't be paying for a membership here, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I first tried a free class one Saturday and then signed up for a two week trial which included an orientation with a coach to understand my baseline fitness and goals and help answer any questions. After the two weeks, had a check-in with a coach to see our progress and chat through future plans for our fitness journey. The coaches and staff at TruFit are awesome and have cultivated a great community. The equipment is great (especially if you're training for HYROX, they have all the stations), the gym is clean and spacious and has an outdoor space which I appreciate so it's never stinky. I love seeing the workouts before class so I know what to expect walking in. And as someone who has zero upper body strength, I appreciate the coaches for being able to help modify the workout to my level when I struggle but also push me to get stronger.
