So I came in today as a walk-in and let me tell you this! The place was so awesome! The decorations and vibes were just so cool. Even had some old motorcycles instead! But anyway I came as a walk in and had the barber Gabe who just did an amazing job! He was so funny and made me feel like he was an old friend! He gave me a great haircut with a shave. The fade he provided was amazing! I was worried at first because I had never been and I needed a haircut for my brothers wedding but boy he made sure that my hair was perfect!!! read more

Absolute love this place!! Old school barber shop service with a hip modern look. The cafe racer style decor is awesome. (They have a motorcycle right there in the shop!!) The team there is the best! I have been coming here for a few months now. This is a fantastic shop. Great group of Barbers with a ton of knowledge. This is no quick "great clips" type haircut. Great shop, the atmosphere is very professional but they also make you feel very welcomed. The best thing is that they pride themselves on making sure that your haircut is on time as your appointment. My barber was Jared. He was super cool and made sure he gave me the cut that I wanted. He also gave me tips on how to style it and what products to use and he didn't rush on my cut. I highly recommend Jared and any of the guys at Barbearia, trust me you won't be disappointed, already looking forward to my next cut. read more

i just wanted to drop a line to let y'all know what a great shop this is. i walked in off the street not knowing the first thing about barbearia, and with no appointment. luckily dustin had a cancellation, and he was kind enough to help me out. in no time he had me back in the game! nice clean cut from a pro. the atmosphere is awesome and the company was stellar. i look forward to next visit. may even try one of the cold beers next time. thanks again fellas read more

Out of nowhere, during my haircut, my barber (let's call him Tabe)told me "It's all going to be ok." As awkward and confused as I was by the random statement, I replied "I sure hope so." Well, unfortunately, it wasn't. I really wanted to like this place. I loved the vintage, hipster vibe. The decor is fantastic. But, aside from the cool ambience, it was pretty much downhill from jump street. I made an appointment on yelp, got the confirmation and everything. When I walked in, the 2 barbers who were cutting hair looked confused when I told them my name and that I had an appointment. They asked to see the confirmation which I showed them. Before I showed the confirmation it felt as if I was the one who'd made the mistake. Thankfully, they told me to have a seat and they'd get to me as soon as Tabe was finished with his current client. Move forward to the actual haircut: I told Tabe I like my hair cut short because it grows so fast, and on the sides and back to go down to a .5 or 1 with a tight fade. Throughout the entire haircut he talked about how he's blending my hair and he wants me to grow out certain parts of it so it "flows." All fine, except that's not really what I asked for. He asked if I had used product and I explained that I had used a little pomade to keep the hair out of my face. He suggests we wash it which was fine ..... until he got shampoo in both my eyes and informed me that barbers prefer when you don't put product in your hair when going for a haircut. Ok. It was after this that the comment about "its all going to be ok" happened. Maybe it looked like I was crying because my eyes were burning from shampoo? Anyway, a few minutes later another potential client came in who'd made an online appointment with Tabe, but guess what-nobody knew about it so they actually ended up losing this customer. So as Tabe was trying to do damage control, texting who I assume was his next client, he received a phone call which he took while cutting my hair (unprofessional). Part of the conversation went "I don't know. I was out drinking with my friends last night." (Unprofessional). Lastly, the people next to me (barber and client) were talking about "hot ass girls from high school who now have 6 kids and are fat." I dunno, but the whole experience was UNPROFESSIONAL. And in the end the haircut was just ok. I can barely tell I got one because Tabe didn't cut as much as I wanted. And I'll need another one in a couple of weeks when normally I get a haircut once a month. $30 wasted. I will continue making the 30 minute +drive to Shave Barbershop in Atlanta. They do it right. read more
