I been wanting to get service for several months now , and when I finally decided I have to say I became very disappointed I took my own hair system the company were I purchased it recommended me to this great place But for the price for installation I expected something perfect . After getting my service I was very happy with my style and customer service , I decided to get this done for a very special day so I put all my trust in this experience until .. 1 hour later the hair system system started coming off , I did contact angel the stylist very concern about it I wasn't expecting this to happen and so soon . He did offer to go to were. Was to fix it but at this point I had already lost the trust on it I was stressing and thinking it was going to happen again or even in public so I decided to just take it off . For being my first time I expected a better glue quality and experience. I'm afraid to ever try it again . Maybee it was my luck . The videos I've seen are extremely amazing . But what. Did expected was at least a partial refund . That would have compromise my bad experience. But it's been a week and it never happened . Other than that . Was looking for a new barber for my son. His regular person left the shop we are regulars at and I tried some of the other barbers. It was one mess after another. My wife suggested trying a new place. I found this barbershop on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Esther helped us , she asked me questions and what we wanted. I showed her pictures and explained what went wrong before. As she was cutting my son's hair she would check in with me and make suggestions. I finally felt like I was being included and heard! I tried not to get in her way because I was nervously pacing. I started to see the haircut take shape and wow! We got home and showed my wife for approval. I've come to them for hair cuts, hair coloring, and hair installation for the last few months now, and they have done a phenomenal job each time. They catered to all of my needs, answered all of my MANY questions, made their own professional suggestions with you in mind, and all while making me feel welcome. I appreciate their attention to detail, going out of their way to even cut that small strand of hair just to make my it look as close to perfect as possible. They love what they do, and it shows. They are artists and my hair is their canvas, and they excel at their jobs. The interior is very cozy and can accommodate a handful of people, and each customer is divided by curtains for privacy. I also enjoy the music played in the background, which consist of mainly mainstream, and basically just the type to make it comfortable inside. They also offer coffee or water, which is a nice touch. Their charging price is more than fair for the amount of service they provide. I've held back from writing a review so I can get a better feel for them, but now I can confidently say that they are the real deal. It is a bit hidden but so glad I found this place. I was able to book an appointment using the online service. My son is picky and does not enjoy getting his hair cut so I was very happy to have found Lola. She was kind, professional and a great barber. I showed her what my son wanted and did better than what I expected. She also helped me realize he actually has curly hair. (First time letting it grow out) Recommended a good pomade and curling cream. Besides being happy with the service me and my child also had fun seeing all the fish tanks. This was my first time going to a barber. Although the people who work here seem to be nice, I think they could have a better choice of words when speaking. The person who was doing my hair, Jose, was talking to the owner and used the word "tranny". Although the term was not directly towards me, this is an offensive derogatory slur for an individual that is transgender. I myself am transgender and I'm sure he noticed I looked different when I first came in by how he looked at me. On another note, he did the hair line on the sides of my head too high, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and I did not get that. I am not coming back again, not only because of the hair cut, but because I do not feel comfortable in this environment. read more
