My son has a new barber . I've read good details on this location when it comes to children's haircut. Other locations in the area seem to charge a lot for fades/ tappers, and I'm not usually satisfied with the cuts. Came in as a walk in with my 6 YO son. Eddie was available and did great working with my son; even striking small conversations to make my son feel comfortable. Eddie did a wonderful job getting the fade and cut. I liked that he informed me about certain cuts may not come out as pictured because it's based on the the texture of the hair; but he got it really close and I was happy with it. Hai upcharged my haircut by 5 dollars. Sure it is 5 dollars but was not upfront about pricing transparecny. The barbers don't seem as skilled as I thought since my haircut was not cut to the correct length and blended properply. If you want to wait 1 hr for a haircut be my guest. I was in search of a new barber shop to go to and this one was pretty close by and had great reviews. When I went in, two people were working - a sweet older Asian woman and young guy. Both were welcoming! As I waited, I noticed just how detailed they both were when cutting. They took their time but didn't over do it. I ended up getting the woman and she understood what I wanted and did a fantastic job! With any haircut, usually you get a real sense of how your hair came out when you get home and do it yourself so I was pleased with my hair for sure! Get here early and be ready to wait. There's obviously a reason why there's a wait. All the barbers here are excellent and will take care to give you what you want with an amazing haircut. It takes time to do a good job and they give each client the best care that they can. Yes. They're bilingual and speak to each other in a different language. You'll be fine. If you're mad about it, learn the language. You know what they say... you can't please everyone and you're gonna have a few haters when you're great. This place is great but get ready to wait. Be polite and get there way before closing time. The last 30 minutes before closing time ain't where it's at. Also, Tracy in the first chair is great with kids. Bring your kids to her. SOLID BARBERSHOP I've been coming here for over a year now and it's been consistently good every time. The barbers there are always friendly. And from what I've seen they all cut hair well. Tracy cuts my hair and my two boys. It's nice to have a barber who know exactly what you want. At this point I don't even have to say anything, I just sit in the chair, and she knows how I like my hair cut. Tracy gets pretty busy, so I always call to make an appointment ahead of time. I know some of the barbers definitely have their regulars. Although a lot of people do walk in. For me, I don't always have time to wait around to get my haircut so the $5 to make an appointment is worth it, especially since the price for a haircut is cheaper than a lot of places in the area. The barbers do a decent job but be prepared to spend 2+ hours here. Standard wait time is 1 hour. 1 hour for a standard short hair cut and 30 mins for a beard line up. They offer appointments to only a few regulars. Ive been going for over a year and got the run around about setting an appointment but other guys walk in and claim they have a appointment on days the owner told me they didn't offer any that day. The vibe is not welcoming when you walk in and you get the sense the barbers aren't happy except the Hispanic guy in the last chair. What adds to the weird vibe is that the barbers are often talking to one another in a south Asian language despite the fact that they all speak English. I think this place could be great if it was managed better and they cared about customer service. UPDATING this to respond to the owner: Bro, you are a good barber and I wish you guys the best. This is my review of things I've seen for a long time and it was not based on one visit. Others have given similar feedback on here. Hope you use this review to improve things. Barbers are fantastic and family and kid friendly staff my son loves it when we pull up because he knows Ms Tracy will give him a lollipopif he is a good listener. I tried many other barbers but hers are the best and for the price I would give them more stars if i was allowed. Strongly recommend & confident you will not be disappointed. EDITED RESPONSE BELOW: DO NOT GO HERE. This is ridiculous. You can see the barber made a mistake on their end by trying to go around the ear. Then they went ahead and blamed it on the child. Child is 12 and does not fidget during cuts. We would've seen this ahead of time through his previous haircuts if there were any sparse spots. Didn't even offer a discount on the cut. UPDATE: Every time you have received any criticism, you have been defensive rather than listening to your customers. My review still stands. And as a registered nurse, I do not appreciate you misdiagnosing my son. We would have noticed this in his recent hair cuts prior to the one we just received. Also, my son's hair falls on the left side of his facing, exposing any sparse spots - if there were any. And as his parents, we can guarantee you there were not. Secondly, dad did ask about the exposed cut by his ear before the barber had mentioned anything. We were surprised to see it because it was not previously there. Please be mindful of your customers and how your barbers cut their hair. Regardless of your mishap, we will have a blessed holiday and not come back here. read more
