Best Barber shop in Lancaster !!!!! My husband has been going here for about 5 years no matter who he gets they are great!

So I have been coming to this Barber Shop for 14 years, since I moved to central Lancaster. It's the closest barber to my house which is very nice. When I started coming, haircuts for men were only $7.00 The price has increased a lot since then but is still more competitive than the other shops. The cuts for the most part are always good. There have been some hit and misses with my cuts. Mainly when I get someone new, that I have never seen before. So now I stay with only Barbers that I know. If your cut isn't exactly perfect, just say something. They will be happy to fix it. But you do have to check the work before you get out of the chair. this is a REAL barber shop (i.e., no reservations, sometimes/some days/certain times of the day there is a wait), but these are professional barbers (not a bunch of overly pomaded douchebags who opened a shop to have a place to hangout with their friends) working in a family friendly environment (no public cursing or adult conversations around kids), so it is WELL worth the wait if there is one. The wait is never too long at this Barber Shop even though they tend to be packed all the time. Everybody waits for Gabe, and he is the guy to go to if you want to get in and out quickly. He also does the best flat tops and crew cuts, even though everyone there does a great job. It's in a sketchy neighborhood (I used to live there so I can say that), but it's worth it for a good, cheap haircut. They have opened up several other locations around the Antelope Valley, but I've never been to them. read more

Went to get a haircut at 4:30 on a Saturday. The posted hours are they're open until 5:00 and the door was locked. I would have left a lower score review, because I think you should be open and ready for business during your posted hours. Since they seem highly rated, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Came here over 7 times and tried out most of their barbers. 2 of them at least twice and all i can say is inconsistent work by them and always had long hairs sticking out of everywhere. Also after going to a different barbershop and get the real hook up i realized how poor of job they had done prior. I felt like they acted as if they where doing me favor by cutting my hair just because they are cheaper then other barbers around although im a good tipper, came here cause its in walking distance from my house but ill take a drive instead and pay a couple of dollars more for complete satisfaction @ the chop shoppe! read more

Iv been coming here for 4yrs now n have never been dissatisfied. The Barbers here r always very friendly n r really talented. It's usually pretty busy but Iv never had to wait no more then 10 mins for an available barber. The only thing I wld say is that the building really needs to be updated inside. Usually a wait but it's never not worth it. Every one of the barbers here are talented and I've been a regular for a few months now.

Great haircuts, every barber is skillful. They can pretty much do any cut as long as you explain what you want. The wait time is short during the day. They have arcade games for kids and I always pick up a Forbes magazine from their huge magazine rack. Teresa, shelly and angel are the best. read more

I've been back here a few times since my last review. The hours are good, the staff are friendly, but the quality of the barber is highly variable. Ironically, the bald barber seems to be the best. I have been going here for about 12 years now. Half the time I get the new guy and they screw up the front of my hair. It use to be a good place and fast but now expect 30 to 45 minute wait. If you are forced to go there, pay close attention to where you are in line because half the time they don't use the numbers they ask you to pull for your order. I found this website because I just waited 45 minute than just left because they let 2 people go in front of me and I listened to 3 barbers debate over what is ranked as spikey haircut for 10 minutes. read more
