most unprofessional circus i've ever been to in my entire life. The young girl working on Sunday is completely incompetent to the fullest level. I called and they didn't answer. I came and she acted like she didn't want to help me. How odd. I asked her what the issue was? The place was empty.. she told me she has appointments. BUT the place was empty. she sets up an appointment with me and i come 15 mins early. when i arrive she starts stuttering and tells me that i have to wait because a customer came an hour late.. How is that my problem. if someone is more then 15mins late they forfeit their appointment. like are you challenged? How do waste people's time like that?!? With no respect and no regards. I had a feeling she was going to have some BS when she made the appointment. But i gave her the benefit of doubt. I came early. and more BS. CIIIIIIIIIRCUS!!!! It's a very small world. I am updating my review to 4 stars because the owner had reached out to me after my review in google and said I was overcharged!! She also offered a complementary service which I could not use at that point because I had already gone back to Texas after my assignment (I am a professional medical traveler) had ended! I still couldn't give the 5 stars because although the owner made the decision to refund the overage, this would not have happened had I not reviewed the business and regardless if they use a great product (OPI), if the execution is faulty, results would not be great!! Easy parking behind the building (both street and parking lot). The staff is very friendly, and my pedicure did look nice in the end -- special thanks to Conchita for her kindness and attention. That said, I found the experience didn't fully match what was advertised. The menu lists hot towels and a massage, but I never received either. It also states that scrub and callous removal are included, but when I asked, I was told callous removal was an extra $10. I was told there were massage chairs -- technically true -- but they weren't the traditional kind. They only knead in one spot, and the chair didn't move backwards. At 5'10", my legs were uncomfortably bent the entire time. Men's pedicures are an extra $5, but my friend didn't get polish, so we weren't sure why there was a surcharge. Overall, $50 feels too steep for what was provided. I won't likely return, but I do appreciate Conchita's friendly service and the nice finish on my pedicure. read more

Do not spend your money here. It's a hack job. They do not know how to paint or prep nails. She kept painting over an air bubble even after I told her not to. She kept saying it was my nail when clearly it was a bubble in the paint. Edges not cleaned and they don't soak the gel off they use a dremel and sand it off damaging the nail!!!!! The refill price is the exact same as the new set price, my friend got a pedicure that was $55 and didn't receive the hot towel or the massage portion, and they charged the same price for a kids manicure as an adults manicure and didn't do the whole service for the kid either. I asked for ombré and it was very harsh lines so I wouldn't even consider it ombré:)) definitely wouldn't recommend going here unless you want to leave unsatisfied and with poor quality and an empty wallet. read more

It is nestled in a one stop shop with an array of different beauty businesses. The place is very small and welcoming. The staff treat you like family from the moment that you walk in. I'd like to preface this review by saying that Barby is very sweet. It sucks that I feel the need to write this review when the experience that I had at her salon could've been prevented. I've been to this salon a handful of times before and I've pretty much always liked how they do apres gel x, especially when Yaneth does them. I've had apres done several times in various salons and it's hard to find someone that does it well. Barby accommodated me on a Sunday which was nice of her and she did my hands. Unfortunately she was rushing - it seemed like she needed to be somewhere and was left with a chunky application and nails that didn't fit my nail beds properly. I didn't say anything when the service was done because I didn't want to make her feel bad or inconvenience her, which is a mistake because at the end of the day I'm a paying customer. Once she left, I was helped by Rosy to put acrylics on my feet, which I unfortunately didn't like how they turned out. They were too long and it was uncomfortable walking in sneakers. I've never done acrylics on my feet before and after this experience I've learned it's just not for me. I felt so self conscious about my feet that I actually soaked my toes in acetone at home the next day to remove them. Also, she accidentally cut me on one toe and it stung for several days after. I want to make it a point that Rosy is also very sweet and we've always gotten along well and laugh together. While Rosy was doing my feet, she actually kindly and gently pointed out that my hands didn't come out as well as they should have and I agreed. Around two days later I contacted Barby to tell her about my concerns and she initially told me that they came out chunky looking because I got them cut as short as possible. I always get the nails cut as short as possible when I get apres and I can attest to the fact that they didn't come out chunky because of how short the nails were, it's because of the thickness of the polish and application. She then told me I could come in to get my hands fixed but didn't specify if I was going to be charged a percentage or otherwise. I also told her about my feet and thought doing builder gel would be better instead. After having trouble with finding times that worked for Yaneth and I, I asked Barby if she would kindly refund me for the service to which she said no because there was nothing wrong with them and that the services were done correctly. I can understand that for the feet - but not for the hands. After responding to her message about no refund, she stopped responding. If she wasn't willing to give me a refund, then she definitely should have at least granted me a credit to use for other services. I will not be doing apres for a while because my nails are too thin and damaged to do anything but a simple manicure. I paid around $215 for both services total, which is not cheap. Unfortunately after this experience, I will not be coming back. read more

Honestly unless you speak Spanish, don't go here. I gave this place a shot three times and they just don't care. To be completely honest, first time they did amazing work. I was happy. Although there was a scheduling issue, they almost cancelled my appointment because a woman who was 30 minutes late to her appointment, showed up at the moment the nail tech had my hand in hers ready to get started. Second time I come for a refill and pedicure and was super overcharged and did not get what I asked for and then a nail pops off. I come again to fix it and they fix my nail and it looks COMPLETELY different from the rest of my set. I mean dude, I paid almost over 200 bucks and the least they could do was put their effort in making the customer happy and doing my nails right. I feel like since I speak straight English they took advantage of that and took my money while leaving me with mediocre-ish nails. For example, I asked for a pedicure with regular polish very simple, how did I end up paying 70 bucks for a pedicure??? They did not even do the full treatment like they did with other women, which was the water bath and rub my feet type thing. They just slapped on the polish and sent me on my way. Truthfully, I was not going to demand them to do the full job but I expected it. Also, they offered other woman who spoke Spanish a glass of wine and a coffee. But not me. Only at the very end when I'm about to pay; they finally offer like?? You know I'm going home so why now? (I did try to speak Spanish to my best capability and used google translate by the way) I had to go home and file my nails to perfection and somewhat give myself what they could not provide. I find it depressing because they do good work but sloppy at the same time. I don't know, I personally felt I was not treated fairly. As nice and sweet as these ladies are I just also felt like they didn't give a shit and it hurt especially when this shit was NOT cheap. I would recommend these ladies to people but based on my experience, I'll have to look elsewhere. read more

I never write reviews but the quality of care I've received from Rosy seriously couldn't go unshared. I had literally never done anything other than regular nail polish until she convinced me to do a cat eye gel and it came out beautifully. After then I have been doing to Rosy for all my nail care and my nails have become so strong and long (they used to always break). The gel designs always last until I go see her again (6 weeks+) and I only go back because my nail beds have grown out lol. I highly recommend Rosy for nail services and even nail art! read more

I was grateful to be able to get a quick walk in pedicure and now I know why. It was uncomfortable, and actually painful. I was wincing as the technician was cutting my nails and filing them aggressively (let alone unevenly). She Cut my cuticles to the point of one of my toes was bleeding and could not stop. She didn't say anything until I pointed it out that I was bleeding and she didn't even apologize. And on top of all that, I didn't even get the best part of the pedicure - the foot and leg massage. Aside from the scab on my toe and the pain, she did a decent job painting. That's why not one star. read more
