I have been coming here for a couple of years now. It's pricy but I always love my nails. Today I had the worse experience from the moment I sat with this guy I knew it was going to be bad. First the water was boiling hot for my pedicure I told him. He gets mad and rips the plastic off the sink to drain the water. The then tries to add a new plastic as I'm in the chair and gets mad it won't stay. Finally on to my nails. Granted allergies got bad and I went to put drops and messed up my nails. He doesn't even attempt to make it better he tries to cover it up. I kindly asked him to fix it he then drills my nails and skin with the nail drill and it still looks terrible. I tell him I'm still not happy as I'm also telling the manager and he's forcing me to pay at this point frustrating, exhausted and upset I pay and this is how I left after a $65 gel mani. I've had a few pedicures here which are just ok. Staff is very rude but I've gone when in the area. Yesterday I went in just for an eyebrow wax. Immediately after, my skin was completely red and burning with pain in wax areas. I told the lady, and all she kept saying was "everyone gets red." I told her I've had MANY eyebrow waxes done but never have had this amount of redness and burning. I asked if perhaps the wax was too hot? She dismissed everything I said. I went there for wax depilation and they ruined my face, tearing my skin off. Pictures say ir all. When I went there to show them what they did to me and make a complain, the owner told me it is because of my sensitive skin... hello??? this is the first time something like this happens to me and no, this not a skin reaction to the wax, this is my face skin ripped off. Just a short walk from village of Merrick Park of about 5 minutes. The people are friendly and seems to be a popular area for college students to o their nails. Prices are about $26 for pedicure and about the same for the manicure. There is an option for a deluxe pedicure version which is about $55. That one comes with a mask and a 10 minute massage for your legs. They have a timer that they start to mark the length of massage so you get the full time allotted for the massage. They are very quick. I saw a large number of individuals enter and leave the salon while I was there. Also with the convenience of the mall being near by at one point there was a wait list about an hour before they closed. No one was turned down and you can walk in without an appointment. read more

This place was so great! I needed a set of acrylics because I bite my nails like no other, and I walked in and only had to wait 15 mins. I think I had Michael but I wasn't sure. He worked so fast I was impressed. It usually takes forever to get acrylics done, and not only was he fast but he did GREAT work with my pathetic picked at and bitten nails. He was detailed with his filing and the application of the acrylic. Usually I always end up with some acrylic seeping over the sides, but he shaped them perfectly. He also did them thinner than I've ever had, especially near the bed so they don't look like I went to the dollar store and stuck a nail on my finger. He also did gel over the acrylic, which is perfect for me because once nail polish chips I have to pick it. In addition, he gave some details about their other services I think it's called dipping powder? That I might want to give a try. The place is small but the staff is friendly, and they have an ATM inside so you can tip in cash. I like this location because finding parking is easy and its metered. Another reason I come here is because of the cleanliness and the chair massager with foot spa. This location has a lot of staff, a lot of nail polish options and quick driers. The staff is professional and fairly quick. You're in and out in about half and hour including a light massage on your hands and feet. Best of all the pricing isn't too bad. Although last time I believe I was overcharged.
