I would have given this place 0 stars. But the Pizza was really good. When we arrived there was no one there. We ordered 2 drinks. Almost 30 min went by before we were asked if we wanted to order food. The food did come out quickly and was delicious. However at no point were we asked if we wanted a refill of our drinks. After about an 1hr. I had to go up to the bartender to reorder our drinks. He acted like I was bothering him. The place was busy mainly with a group of what seemed like his friends who were being catered to. We spent nearly 200 dollars on food and drinks. Worst experience here. Also the music was terrible, they were playing sad country songs. It's a bar. Should be fun and lively. read more

Never been here before but heard good things about the place. We went on a Thursday night, it was packed, lots of people there for the Dodger game. We even left and came back about an hour later. Still busy but got an inside table. Ordered drinks and pizza but were told we would have to wait about an hour and a half for our pizzas and there were only three types left, (Zio was available and what we wanted) We ordered them anyway but after about 10/15 minutes we decided to just finish our drinks and come back another time for the pizzas. I went to the pizza window and asked if they had started our order they said they had not so I let them know we were going to cancel the order and come back another time. They asked me for the order I let him know and he said he'd put the order in right away. We got one very quickly and the other maybe 5 minutes after. Both were the Zio and were delicious! Incredible pizza, great bourbon selection, and family friendly atmosphere. Patio area is dog friendly boasting fire pits, covered tables, and televisions. Joey (owner) is an excellent host as are the other employees. Prices are reflective of the quality that is put into the food ingredients. As with anything in life you can't please everyone. Great new social club! We had the Goomba pizza with fresh pears on it, tasted great, and I usually don't like pears. The drinks were great, and the vibe was relaxed with friendly people and a few families hanging out. We sat inside, but there's a huge back patio that's dog friendly. Came here for the first-time last Saturday night around 9pm. It was busy and took a little bit of time to get drinks, but the servers were very kind and that made up for it. The food was great too, but what we loved the most was the atmosphere at Barcuso. the owner was going around talking to everyone, greeting everyone and making us feel very comfortable. He also informed us that they will be expanding and adding a speakeasy! We met some cool regulars and shared a few drinks and great conversation. They also have a back patio with firepits and both outdoor tables and lounge chairs. This is a great spot for drinks and dinner. We will be back to enjoy the superbowl!!! This place is awesome for a million reasons! 1- the food is great! the caprese salad and bruschetta They actually sold out of pizza dough tonight (assuming because it's awesome) and couldn't make more regular pizza.. but they offer cauliflower crust and for my GF friends, this was still so delish and probably a little healthier? YUM! 2- the drinks are outstanding! Like woah. Whatever is on the menu or off, these bartenders (and the owner) know wassup. 3- the vibe is on point! Talk about feeling welcome and like you're at home! Owner, Joey Mancuso sat down with us, created a cocktail with us (which he then made and shared with us) and shared a beer at his next door neighbors (pro-five) with us. Great beer! 10/10 recommend! My partner and I were completely ignored the entire time we were here. The pizza was alright. The only time a server spoke to us was to get our initial order, then we were never attended to again. After an hour of waiting to order a drink I had to order it at the bar and wait for it for another 20-25 minutes. I watched as the servers made a million other drinks before ours. Even when we asked for the check, no one came to take our card for over 20 minutes, we felt trapped there. They seemed understaffed and maybe were trying their best. But the 3 servers we saw seemed to be much more focused on every other table, maybe they thought they were safe to ignore us because we're young and wouldn't make a fuss, but that's not fair. I would never go here again, a waste of our time and money. Another detail to add is we were right next to the kitchen window and right in front of the bar, so there's no way we were a blind spot that's easily forgotten about. Don't discount the house old fashioned as it was made to my specifications with Ezra Brooks and it rivals any other high end bourbons, but Ezra Brooks donates to Veterans and that was a huge plus for me. Two visits, two let downs. I stopped by last Sunday around this time (5:30). Ordered the margherita pizza and was told they were out of pizza. "Okay no problem", I said, "I'll try the zio". They then told me they were actually just out of pizza so I left. Came back today, same time. Hooray they had pizza! Ordered the margherita and the zio to go. Got home and was disappointed to discover no fresh basil ok either pizza as was described on the menu. Not a deal breaker on the zio but a margherita pizza with no basil is a total disappointment. I'll give it another shot as I know it would be delicious, but I would never have ordered the margherita if I had been told they were out of basil. Or they had bit but forgot. Either eay, a bummer. I live near downtown, when I saw that we were going to have a new spot open up I was super excited and Barcuso didn't disappoint! Drinks were amazing, I had the corpse reviver and it was superb, my fiancé's French 75 was excellent as well. Our Nonna pizza had flavorful sauce, perfect crust, and the sun dried tomatoes with prosciutto were an amazing combo. Topped it off with a cigar on the nicely lit back porch and I could have been happier. Will return shortly! read more
