The staff was phenomenal from the housekeeping ladies to the kitchen staff he was treated as if he was their favorite person. As his health declined, he lived in the health center. Again, the care he received was excellent. He was happy, comfortable and most of all safe and well cared for. Anytime we had questions or concerns they were promptly addressed. As soon as I told him what kind of washer I have he said. I do not work on LG washers and hangs up on me. So I called back and asked to speak to the owner or manager. She proceeds to tell me I was listening in on your call and he told you. He doesnt work on LG's and then she hung up on me as well. This is a hometown business that my family has used and I've used my whole life. I will not give them a single dollar more and will be sure to tell everyone how terrible there business and customer service is.

My mother, turning 75 this year needed a new living room set (power to be specific)...she has always liked mine, I had a positive experience and the exact set was pictured on a Facebook add, so off to Streator we went. When arriving we were told that the set ADVERTISED on the site was discontinued so Mom picked another set pretty close. She bought the couch, and matching recliner, a rug,extended warranty and delivery in CASH!!! Everything was beautiful right??? Not!!! Two men show up...One of which was evident hadn't showered in DAYS, ok..we move on....They bring in the furniture. Mom notices the mechanical closure on the storm door is broken...ya know , it was a windy day, but wouldn't 2 delivery men mention that to a person they just delivered to? Instead of just letting it flop around in the wind? Next, they say that they are missing a power cord and need to go back to the warehouse....when walking out the door it is obviously flopping everywhere and has pulled the frame from the house. Instead of helping my ( again 75 year old) mother, they both drive to the warehouse leaving her there holding the door so the glass won't shatter. Luckily she had her cell phone and called me, who got a neighbor with tools to go save her from standing outside holding the door. When the men returned, there was no apology, no offer to help only the lingering smell of body odor. My mother's complaint calls then went ignored for nearly 2 weeks. She left messages numerous times and I was witness to an answered call with a women who said she would pass on the message. It wasn't until I myself called/ messaged from a different number that she was finally answered. Who ever the man she talked to was awful....took no responsibility, offered no apologies and actually blamed my mother for the damage. She was only asking for reimbursement for the handy man to reattach the door...not the part they broke or replacing the frame that was torn off once door was broken. $60 folks, thats what she asked for. Half tbe deliveryfee. ....she spent close to $4000.00 cash in that store! This man offered her $15 reimbursement and pretty much accused her of lying about the damage and how many messages she left that went unanswered. I only ever leave positive reviews but this treatment of my Army Veteran, Nurse (who came out of retirement for shortages during covid), could be spending this money elsewhere MOTHER has me more than mad ,disappointed and embarrassed I recommended the place! I even question now if they will honor the warranty she paid for/ God forbid something goes wrong. In short, the value of furniture without warranty or delivery is good but if you value the way a company treats Veterans, First responders, the elderly or hell people in general, I would not recommend. Would give 0 stars if possible.
