Very nice people. But I had to take my pet back because she didn't fully recover the first time.

I called this morning for an emergency visit and they told me to come up immediately after being…read morescoffed at by several other nearby veterinary offices! I had never been to this vet office but again was just trying to get my six week old baby boy kitten Butters after finding him with labored breathing and lethargic this morning. I live on a farm and this babys momma is from a cat colony I look after and so I knew they likely had URI (cat herpes /flu) because they'd had eye infections, but he was eating and doing okay last night. But not this morning. Anyways, I got there and within 5 minutes was in a room with the Doctor, Dr. Taylor, and he was the most compassionate, kind and professional veterinary Doctor I've ever met! He said the most comforting heart warming things to me and helped my sweet baby boy without judgment on me. He prescribed antibiotics and they gave them to me on site. They also me a bottle/ nursing kit and 3 bags of Hills Science Diet kitten food for free!! The reception staff, one of which was the Doctors wife were wonderful and helpful!! I figured the cost would be extensive because of the emergency type of visit, but no, it was not!! It was very reasonable, even low in my opinion! I will be making appointments for my other kittens in the future and I look forward to my kitties and I establishing a relationship with these wonderful kind people!

I have been taking my cats to Dr. J.P. Taylor since the 1980ies. I will never forget Dr. Taylor bringing this poor little kitten out telling me, she's going to be a beautiful cat. I had my doubts. but with his care she did become a beautiful cat. JP was an amazing addition to my life. when my Shere had cancer, Dr. Taylor told me all the options. When her life was no longer bearable, he made the end of her life as easy as possible for both her and me. My Liz and Sarah actually seem to enjoy their visits to him. He is the best vet I have ever known. with his knowledge and skill, he should never retire.

Just moved to the area a few months ago and finally made it to a vet. This one was recommended by a…read morefriend. For the first visit I was very pleased. Doctor Spencer and the rest of the staff were super friendly and answered all of my questions and helped without getting frustrated. Because this dog mom was on zero sleep and frazzled I couldn't think straight. My pup got a couple shots and blood drawn and the staff handle her very well. I can't wait to continue business with them. They are by appointment only.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to express my absolute outrage and devastation over the treatment--or, more accurately, the neglect--my beloved rabbit received while boarded at your facility. I entrusted your care with my pet for a mere seven days, and when I arrived to pick him up on Friday, he looked horrific: severely dehydrated and having hardly eaten a damn thing. The condition he was in was so dire that the vet at your office bluntly told the receptionist to tell us she didn't feel comfortable treating him referencing the fact that we had seen his regular vet only 12 days prior to address an ear infection. This excuse is not just dismissive; it's infuriating. Somehow, they let him deteriorate to this horrible state under their care and then brush it off because of his recent prior visit? We were left with no choice but to rush him back to our regular vet immediately, where, in a gut-wrenching decision, we had to have him put down. He didn't deserve to suffer like this. The negligence in watching over a vulnerable animal, the failure to ensure basic care like hydration and nutrition, and the complete lack of accountability are nothing short of disgusting. I demand a full explanation as to how a pet can be allowed to decline so drastically in your boarding service. This will haunt us forever, and I refuse to let it be swept under the rug. My rabbit deserved to be treated with respect and compassion, not left to wither away while under your supposedly professional care. Is it not a law that if an animal is your care you by law have to treat the animal?

Terrible. I dropped my dog off for a tooth extraction and spay a few months ago. Later, I got a…read morecall that they did the spay, but not the tooth extraction, because they didn't have the right equipment. I told her the point was for her to only have to go under anesthesia once, and that I would've liked to know ahead of time, so I could choose to take her somewhere else. She told me she didn't even know about the tooth extraction until after she was already under. The training and communication here is very poor. The techs apparently 'didn't know' that they didn't do tooth extractions. But they also didn't care to ask. And they put my dog under anesthesia without talking to the doc about what they were doing. I had also been quoted $200 for the surgery, and they ended up charging me $400, and I still had to take her elsewhere for a second surgery. I told the tech to cancel my other appointments, because I wouldn't be bringing any of my animals back. But apparently she couldn't even manage to do that, because they've still been calling me, wondering why I didn't show. And then, to top it off, the incision site started leaking fluid, so I had to take her elsewhere to have it looked at, only to find out the doc didn't do the sutures correctly and left an opening to her abdominal cavity. As a result, infection was setting in AND it took twice as long to heal. You're better off going to another vet. This place is a disaster.
