My friend and I made appointments for a couples renewal massage after we both had received gift cards. While the robes and somd of the amenities are nice, the massage was really what I was there to enjoy. I was trying my best to not get upset (45, single mom of twin 2 year olds- I needed this break and massage) it just didn't hit the mark. I told the therapist I'd like it firmer and harder and not light touches and I think she must have thought I said the opposite- soft tickling type of massage and she didn't seem to want that style to change. Maybe she's knew but I have never gone up and down (being raised by her foot control) so many times in my life. Maybe she has back problems? My friend asked me afterwards why she was so loud (like I knew why? lol). Several times washing her hands and then threw the robe on my legs after the massage. Miss the exfoliating scrub at the end! Those were wonderful. While the after treatment room is nice, I'm sad to say, this just was such a disappointment. Hoping to have enough funds to give it another try at some point.

Before checking out and heading home, my boyfriend and I decided to get hot stone massages. I have received many massages and this one was THE BEST. Rebekah, my masseuse, is so beyond knowledgeable. I love how she asked me what type of pressure I like, if I had any areas of concern, and explained her normal technique beforehand. She was able to get out kinks in my back and neck while also giving me a soothing, enjoyable massage. In my experience, a massage is either pleasant but doesn't do anything or tough/somewhat painful, but effective. Rebekah takes the good from both ends to have the perfect massage. She was also extremely knowledgeable about muscles and stretches I can do to help where I get tight. The massage felt very tailored to me and what I need which was very much appreciated. My boyfriend had the same feedback about his technician and said it was the best massage he's had too. The spa is SUPER clean and the rooms are very private and quiet. Only $20 - 60, but a win is a win. If you are intimidated by the tables, they have automatic craps and roulette games. The roulette is pretty dated and could really should be updated. Mostly because the interface is kinda a pain, but it still works. The staff is super friendly and are happy to answer any dumb questions i have. Customer service is top notch. The cleaning crew is really on top of things. The main floor, bathrooms, dining areas are all spotless. The thing that really stands out about this place is that the people seem happy. Although it was a 60 minute massage, she went on for an additional 10 minutes just so I could get the complete experience. We were staying at the inn so it was highly convenient for us to just go back up to our room after the massage to take a shower.
