I have been seeing Ruth for a few weeks now. She gets even the littlest hairs, and asks me if I want to extend my time. She's very flexible w her schedule and very easy going. Everything is clean and in order. I would definitely recommend. Before Leaving she cleans the area, adds tea tree oil and sunblock. My skin has been doing very well, alittle redness and that's it. If you park behind the gate, get your card validated. It's $1 an hour for the validated rate, or you can try to park across the street. I came into to see Ruth to get the peach fuzz from my upper lip removed. It has always been fuzzy but as I've gotten older the fuzz started to darken!! It was still too light for laser treatment & I didn't know what to do except dye it blonde or start waxing. Both of these options were not great. I found a girl that did Electrolysis and started to see her. It was terrible... I would do 15 mins and the next day start having really bad pimples that lasted 2-3 weeks. After a few weeks the "breakout" went away & I returned to this girl. She seemed a little annoyed that I was troubled by the pimples. She told me some people just react that way & that it was no big deal. So I did another treatment with her. Again, 15 mins. And then again, bad pimples for 2-3 weeks. I didn't see how I'd be able to continue with electrolysis if this was going to be the reaction every time. I couldn't have these unsightly pimples on my upper lip! It wasn't 1 pimple... it was many large pimples on & off over the 2-3 weeks!!! I stated to search the net re: electrolysis & reactions etc. I felt like something was off with my lady. I started to call around to other local electrolysis places. That's when I stumbled upon Ruth at Bare Forever Electrolysis. She took the time to listen to me & then explained that problem could very likely be the method of Electrolysis that my technician was using and/or the setting might be two high as well. I didn't know there were different methods or settings or anything about it. She was great so I thought for my next treatment I'd give Ruth a try. Well fast forward about a year & my darkish peach fuzz on my upper lip is practically gone. From the first appointment with Ruth there was a huge difference from my prior experience. My experience with Ruth was a NEGATIVE experience. For starters her prices are too high. When I originally contacted her, she quoted me one price and when I went to see her she quoted me another price. I would asked her to clean up certain areas where my hair grew and she would move so slow, that the area I asked her to get would still be hairy after a hour long section. It felt like she was trying to move slow to make as much money as possible. I would leave my sessions with Ruth frustrated and unsatisfied. I explained to her my feeling/concerns and she continued this behavior. I had been to GREAT electrolysis in the past, so I had something to compare it to. I gave Ruth a Few chances to get it right until I realized that she was just not going to get it right and I was WASTING MY TIME & MONEY, so I moved on and found an EXCELLENT ELECTROLYSIS who does exactly what I ask of her on every session.
