I have been a loyal client of New Look Skin Center for a long time, but after today's experience, I will not be returning unless they change their laser treatment process. They replaced the cooling gel with regular air, which made the treatment much more uncomfortable. My skin became extremely irritated and has been burning ever since, even after applying aloe vera. I was simply told to apply ice, which was not an acceptable response. Clients should be informed of changes before treatment and given the option to choose the cooling method. As a long-time client, I am very disappointed with how this was handled. read more

Definitely the most affordable laser hair removal place I've found in SoCal so far. Front desk staff could be unhelpful or not the most kind at times. Calling over the phone is the most effective way to book and ask questions although you may be on hold for a while. The online chat on their website is not helpful nor effective. They once tried to charge me $25 so I could find out how many treatments I've done in the past which was absolutely ridiculous. They also charge an additional 3% fee if paying via credit card as they pass on the fee to the customers. No fee for debit or cash payments. Packages are only worth it if you can commit and if their locations are convenient for you. With the packages you typically get the 5th treatment free. Check for their monthly specials which release at the beginning of the month to get the most bang for your buck. I wish they had more locations that are more conveniently located for me. Parking is located at the rear for the Glendale location. There is only street parking available in the front which can be difficult to find. Treatment quality can vary depending on the nurse you get. Definitely takes a while to find the nurse you prefer with your preferred treatment style. Nurses typically have a Venmo or code to scan to tip them but I appreciate that some nurses don't emphasize this and pressure you. read more

I didn't get seen for about 25 minutes after my scheduled time though I was worried I'd be late and they'd cancel my appt so I guess I didn't need to arrive so early. As for the treatment, the nurse or staff member who administered it did not try to put me at ease or give me any information whatsoever. This made me very uncomfortable. They couldn't get me out of the room fast enough. I attempted to cancel my appointment more than 24 hours in advance, but was told it could not be accepted because the call went to their automated line. I have also tried calling multiple times without receiving an answer. I explained that I needed to reschedule due to a medical issue, yet Ashley refused to do so without imposing a 50% cancellation fee. For a service exceeding $300, it is troubling that no courtesy accommodation was offered. Additionally, there was no manager available to address the issue or provide further assistance. I've been going here for 2 years now and an incident happened yesterday that helped gain my trust with new look skin center. Not only do they put their clients first, but they truly had my back yesterday. Someone double parked behind me after my appointment so I waited some time and the front desk was kind enough to help me ask whose car it was. After time had passed the car was still there, which made me nervous since I needed to be at another appointment right after. The owner of the car came out after checking out and I was relieved. We both got in our cars and after some time she still wasn't leaving. I had thought maybe she didn't realize I was in my car so I tried to get her attention from her window and asked politely if she could move to the side so I can back out since I needed to be somewhere. She then responded rudely even though I was nice. I went back to my car and waited and she still didn't move. Luckily the managers and another couple helped me talk to her, in which she started yelling at them even though we were just trying to get her to move to the side, not leave entirely. If you are going to be inconsiderate enough to park behind someone, at least be considerate enough to move to the side. Please be considerate of peoples time. I went in for Botox and Filler on 5/11/26. It was my first time at the center. I have gotten lip filler and Botox on multiple occasions but I went to this facility after receiving a gift card for my birthday. That day I received Botox and Lip filler. Treatment that cost over $1,100. I was told by the injector to wait two weeks for the Botox to kick in. I had never in the past needed the two weeks for results I normally see results right away within the week. It's now been two weeks and my main concern was between my brows which were injected and now 2weeks later it looks like I was never injected in the first place. I called the facility and I was told I needed to come back in for a second look which I would have to pay re injection all over again. I stated they had taken before pictures and I could send them pictures of how I look now and there's no difference. Even after paying over $1,100. DO NOT GO HERE! I also paid for a full syringe of Juvederm lip filler and only used half and still got charged the whole $600+ for the injection. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

This clinic was a really bad experience for me unfortunately, i went for while before and did multiple sessions until the nurses stopped caring and stopped taking precautions leading for me to get burnt. I now have vitiligo looking spots all under my armpits and they did nothing what so ever to help me resolve the issue. When i got burnt i had reached out right away and all the NP told me to do was put aquaphor on and ice it, which obviously did not work. Just be careful, i got lucky with it being in a place i could hide but that may not always be the case. I highly don't recommend! read more
