I attempted to cancel my appointment more than 24 hours in advance, but was told it could not be accepted because the call went to their automated line. I have also tried calling multiple times without receiving an answer. I explained that I needed to reschedule due to a medical issue, yet Ashley refused to do so without imposing a 50% cancellation fee. For a service exceeding $300, it is troubling that no courtesy accommodation was offered. Additionally, there was no manager available to address the issue or provide further assistance. After rearranging my entire schedule to make a Monday appointment, they canceled on me last minute on Sunday, saying their nurse had to leave early--offering no solution. Definitely the most affordable laser hair removal place I've found in SoCal so far. Front desk staff could be unhelpful or not the most kind at times. Calling over the phone is the most effective way to book and ask questions although you may be on hold for a while. The online chat on their website is not helpful nor effective. They once tried to charge me $25 so I could find out how many treatments I've done in the past which was absolutely ridiculous. They also charge an additional 3% fee if paying via credit card as they pass on the fee to the customers. No fee for debit or cash payments. Packages are only worth it if you can commit and if their locations are convenient for you. With the packages you typically get the 5th treatment free. Check for their monthly specials which release at the beginning of the month to get the most bang for your buck. I wish they had more locations that are more conveniently located for me. Parking is located at the rear for the Glendale location. There is only street parking available in the front which can be difficult to find. Treatment quality can vary depending on the nurse you get. Definitely takes a while to find the nurse you prefer with your preferred treatment style. Nurses typically have a Venmo or code to scan to tip them but I appreciate that some nurses don't emphasize this and pressure you. read more

I've been going here for 2 years now and an incident happened yesterday that helped gain my trust with new look skin center. Not only do they put their clients first, but they truly had my back yesterday. Someone double parked behind me after my appointment so I waited some time and the front desk was kind enough to help me ask whose car it was. After time had passed the car was still there, which made me nervous since I needed to be at another appointment right after. The owner of the car came out after checking out and I was relieved. We both got in our cars and after some time she still wasn't leaving. I had thought maybe she didn't realize I was in my car so I tried to get her attention from her window and asked politely if she could move to the side so I can back out since I needed to be somewhere. She then responded rudely even though I was nice. I went back to my car and waited and she still didn't move. Luckily the managers and another couple helped me talk to her, in which she started yelling at them even though we were just trying to get her to move to the side, not leave entirely. If you are going to be inconsiderate enough to park behind someone, at least be considerate enough to move to the side. Please be considerate of peoples time. I went in for Botox and Filler on 5/11/26. It was my first time at the center. I have gotten lip filler and Botox on multiple occasions but I went to this facility after receiving a gift card for my birthday. That day I received Botox and Lip filler. Treatment that cost over $1,100. I was told by the injector to wait two weeks for the Botox to kick in. I had never in the past needed the two weeks for results I normally see results right away within the week. It's now been two weeks and my main concern was between my brows which were injected and now 2weeks later it looks like I was never injected in the first place. I called the facility and I was told I needed to come back in for a second look which I would have to pay re injection all over again. I stated they had taken before pictures and I could send them pictures of how I look now and there's no difference. Even after paying over $1,100. DO NOT GO HERE! I also paid for a full syringe of Juvederm lip filler and only used half and still got charged the whole $600+ for the injection. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

I was on the phone so you can't hear the video but he told me I had to move my car or he was going to call the police because I was parked there . The person that was parked behind me also walked up to my car knocking on my window. She was rude to me and rushing me to move, I told her I was trying to put my seat belt on. I also was trying to let the elder woman in the van to pull out before I did but She went into the office to go tell the company I wasn't moving my car fast enough for her a few workers came out and started recording me as well this is a white business and I am African American and I did feel mis treated and targeted. It takes me almost an hour to get to this location and the appointment only takes 5-10 minutes and I was treated so rudely today I couldn't believe it. I was in the building all of 15 minutes the girl who came knocking on my window said she had been waiting 30 mins for me To move but that's not true because she was inside while I was inside. The company will ask if someone is in a car (they'll describe the car) if someone is blocking someone, they did not do that. I walked in at 12:15 and was out by 12:37. The man and his wife started attacking me and they didn't know me or the person I was parked in front of. I will never go spend my money at this place of business ever again read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience here. I scheduled a laser appointment in advance, arrived on time, and was checked in as usual. I then sat waiting for about 25 minutes with no updates or communication from staff. After waiting, I was finally told, very casually, "Oh, the machine is broken," and was then offered to be reassigned to someone else. This made no sense to me -- if the laser machine isn't working, how would assigning me to someone else fix the issue? More importantly, why wasn't I informed immediately upon arrival? The lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable. If equipment is down, clients should be notified before their appointment time -- not left sitting and waiting with no explanation. My time is valuable. Good service isn't just about the treatment itself -- it's about transparency, communication, accountability, and respect for your customers' time. Unfortunately, this experience lacked all of those basic business standards. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their client communication and operational processes. read more

It's unfortunate that I had to update this review with bad news. As a loyal customer, this was the only place I went to for laser hair removal. I referred multiple friends and was a very happy client until June 2024. After my laser session, I received some burns which led to hyper pigmentation. Immediately, I contacted New Look Skin Center with my concerns. They advised that after a month it should fade. It did not fade. After contacting them again, they finally gave me a bleaching lotion. They assured me that it should go away after a couple months. It is now January 2025 and I still have these marks. After many frustrating back and forth emails, I inquired for a full refund in which they refused. The burden of finding creams to lighten the hyperpigmentation falls on me financially. This center lacks professionalism and empathy for their clients. Sadly, I will not be returning. read more
