All verbal and even in their computer it showed a year but they said they can't honor it anymore while we were 6 months into treatment. They actually called today wanting more money for treatment performed last week. Very unprofessional, they fully admit they messed up but want more money to finish treatments. I will be filing a complaint with consumer protection services and/or the attorney general after I do some more research. Up to this point the staff was very nice and generous. They are having the front desk call us to do the dirty work and you can hear in their voice that they know this isn't ethically right or very good customer service. Also look up their BBB rating, not good.

I have been going LaserLoft for years and always have had a pleasant experience, until this week when I arrived for my appointment to find a whole new crew staff members. After checking in, the woman behind the front desk said to the service provider, "Hold on a minute, I need to talk to her" in a tone that indicated I was in trouble. Right there in the lobby, in front of other staff and within earshot of customers upstairs and anyone else who may walk in, she introduced herself as Janita and told me that according to an audit she had done, I had not paid for my last two appointments, and then she turned to me and said, "Did you know that?" Her tone was completely accusatory. I explained that I always buy units in bulk when they offer sales (which are a better deal) and was told at each appointment how many units I had left in the bank. This means that every visit, I don't pay for the units, I just pull from the pack I have already purchased until I run out. Janita proceeded to (rather smugly) show me the audit she had run on my account which included my charges for the unit packs I had bought, with the most recent 100 units being purchased in November of 2025, with two ~30-unit appointments since then. I told her that I suspected she had her math wrong, as I had been keeping track of how many units I was using/had left. She said she'd look into it while I was getting my service done and let me know afterwards, but that "As of right now it looks like you owe us over $800." I said no, I won't be doing my appointment today because I don't want a surprise charge and this seems off, so yes please figure that out. Janita said she'd call me after she sorted it out and let me know what she determined. She rescheduled me for the following week tentatively until they figured things out. I left feeling as though I had been absolutely accused of stealing from their business and treated as if I was a liar trying to cheat them. It was incredibly embarrassing and left me reeling the rest of the night. The next day, I revived a text saying "Hi Emily, It's Janita I left you a voicemail. I just wanted to let you know that you are all set for your next appointment! Have a great weekend." No apology. No explanation. No 15% off for treating me like crap. Nothing. While I wasn't surprised, since I knew that I had not lied or stolen, I was incredibly baffled by the lack of customer service instinct by this woman. To be treated so poorly so publicly and without any basis was absolutely uncalled for, and definitely the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. It felt a bit like a reverse Karen situation in which the customer wasn't the Karen for once. Let's just say that their system had in fact failed to correctly charge my bank of credits for my last two appointments -- that's absolutely not my fault, and never something that I should be openly accosted for at the beginning of my appointment. Or let's say that I had in fact been somehow stealing from their business. The right way to handle this situation would have been in private -- either over the phone prior to my arrival or in the back office where it could be handled gracefully. Then, when her error was realized, she should have apologized (I'd even suggest doing so rather profusely after having treated someone so poorly). This was absolutely the worst possible handling of the situation. I'm still in shock at just how poorly I was treated by a total stranger and I will never ever go to LaserLoft again, and I do NOT recommend that anyone else go here for any service ever.

The best part is that I am a person of color and they have the YAG laser that is for anyone with more melonin in their complextion. Mara is my tech and she is wonderful. She listens to the concerns that I have when I come back for my next appointments and makes sure to address them. I have since done a complete Brazilian and underams and I have to say that I am in love with all the results. Best way to be hairless and beautiful. One thing I like about DLS is that you can pay as you go and just pay per session instead of having to buy a package that is going to cost you thousands upon thousands of dollars. If you are in the market to get laser removal but cant afford the big upfront cost, this is the place to go. great results and great customer service as well.
