After reading Dan's update and Pete's review, I had to check this place out for myself. We arrived here at about 12:30 on Saturday night, there was ample parking, a $5 cover, and maybe 10 guys in the place if that. For the most part, it was empty. I grabbed a beer, headed to the restroom to tinkle after the drive here from Lincoln Rd. and the attendant in there was sound asleep. I did my thing, washed my hands, walked out and he was still asleep. No joke. The ladies here weren't the worst I'd seen, but definitely weren't the best, either. You know when you get the Victoria Secret-type catalogs and you see a photo of some hot little number all dressed up in a French maid's costume, and in really small print it says "available in plus sizes up to 3 XL" and you wonder what that would look like? Well, you'll find out here. There is a long, oval bar with seating all the way around it with an island in the middle for the ladies to dance, the compulsory stripper poles and some contraption with a set of handle bars hanging from the ceiling that the ladies can grab onto and twirl around. There is also a small stage to the side of the bar with another pole on it, but no one used it on this night. They also had a glass-walled shower with a high-flow nozzle and a light at the top to illuminate the action, but I never saw it in use, either. I saw a group of 3 guys sitting at a few tables off to the side. The older guy just looked at me, grinned slightly and shook his head back and forth. Turns out the 2 guys with him just recently turned 21 and he brought them here for their first "gentleman's club" experience. Lucky them. If you should pay for a visit to the "private room", the lady will take you in, and the bartender will put a chair in front of the entrance in lieu of a door. Classy! I had a couple of beers, saw 3 or 4 ladies dance and tipped each one as they walked around after their dances to collect some bills (since the action is in the middle of the bar, you can't reach them to tip them while they're "on"). I went back into the restroom before leaving. Buddy the attendant? Yeah, still sleeping away. He did jerk awake as I was washing my hands this time. In summary, not the worst place I've seen, at least it didn't have that headdy smell of old 1970's dirty sex in the air like some strip joints. No one was rude to me on this night, but the bartenders weren't overly friendly, either. My first strip club experience. I remember leaving my friends' house that night at about midnight and feeling really, really and depressed. I think we were watching the documentary American Movie, but I doubt that had anything to do with the depression. Anyway, Bare Necessity was right around the corner from their house and I had just turned 21, so I wandered in. Immediately I met up with an acquaintance who was a dancer there. She was going by the name of China, and to be honest I can't remember her real name. She was just someone I saw at punk and ska shows. Really beautiful girl with a great body. Anyway, she made the whole "first strip club experience" a friendly one. She introduced me to the girls and they sat around me while I drank down the two-drink minimum. I chose white russians as my drinks. I'd never really drank before and I was a big fan of the Big Lebowski, so fuck it. I ordered the two white russians and they were delicious. I understood why The Dude drank them all the time. Anyway, I watched a few girls dance and I got lap dances from a couple of girls. They were beautiful and lap dances by their very nature are a lot of fun. The whole experience rang up to about $60. Two drinks and my first two lap dances. A lot of people make comments about the ugliness of the girls at this place and maybe I can agree to point but over my few return visits I saw at least a couple of really good looking women each time I went. read more

I have never done a review of this poor joint because I was embarrassed to say I had been there. I have never seen more stretch marks or hairy arm pits in all of my life, nor do I like dancers my own age. As Dan said the lighting is good, but that is not a positive! Just say no. read more

This Strip club is one of the cheaper ones in town and you are most likely to spend more money here then in others but some of the strippers are rud and ugly but there is plenty of good looking ones and nice ones also. The place is empty most of the time during the week specialy after midnight and that makes this place good because if its overcrowed your are less likely to get attention and feel akward. Most drinks are over priced like a beer for $4.50 or a water for $4.50 that is expensive but what can u expect from a strip club. read more

The girls are a train wreck... but you have to feel bad for them. It's almost like seeing a homeless person by your car and you have a bunch of change. You want to help them out but they aren't doing anything to get the money and they look like hell. I used to live by this spot so I made it in a few times to have a beer and not have to drive... so I can say it's not fair to say all the ladies are wrecks. Most are though... there are some chick's that used to be hot maybe one that would be hot if she lost some weight and then the chick that is kinda hot but is probably gay (best/worst lap dance ever)... this place shouldn't be your main event but if you have a messed up sense of humor like me you may get a laugh out of it. read more

cheap drinks, open till 6, and about the craziest girls in Miami..on a scale, their hottest one is a 5 probably (after a few brewskis of course) they don't really harrass you for tips like other strip joints. Worst strip club I have ever been to. The girls were very unattractive, fat and old. They charged at the door and then the bartender told me that I needed to buy an overpriced drink to stay at the strip club. And the bartender told me they require you to buy a drink because they don't charge at the door, and then I told her that they did charge me at the door. Then she retracted her story. And I understand these ladies are strippers but they should at least have a better hiring process. One stripper had a nasty attitude and threatened to slap me because I asked her how much the champagne room was. And the complimentary pop corn wasn't complimentary at all and was cold and tasteless. read more

The only reason this place deserves two stars is the environment. There are never really that many people, which is a plus. Also, the lighting is very good as well as the seating. I feel comfortable there. But, alot of the strippers and bartenders are very mean people. There's no other way to put it, they're just mean and rude. Others are surprisingly nice and easy to talk to. But, the incredible rudeness and pure evil of some of the employees makes this place not desireable to go to. You literally can be minding your own business and just ask a simple question and get a rude response. I don't know much about these types of places, so I don't know if that's a ubiquitous quality, but I can only speak from my few experiences at this one. There are alot of nice people there, but just try to avoid saying much to the bartenders because they tend to be very unhappy people and one stripper called Amber is probably the most psychotic person I have ever seen so stay away from her. There is no cover if you are over 21 but they make you buy a $4.50 beer at the very least and if you finish it too quickly, they may ask you to buy something else if they're feeling mean. After every dance, a stripper will come up to you and pretty much coerce you to tip them so bring lots of 1s. Some of them will understand if you ran out of 1s but others will simply lose their mind if they hear such a thing. read more

i went to this place few weeks back ! i was shocked when i went to the restrooms , they have papers on the walls saying they are video taping you ,in other words they have cameras in the girls restrooms !!!! wth? , i asked a dancer and she said yes , because " costumers do too many drugs", i went to the bar talked to someone there and "it" told me " i don't want to get involved , this is not my place , i just work here " . i wanna explain the reason why i have a problem with this " camera " situations , this place only have three toilets sits , the first one is broken( for the last year , door locked u cant use it !!) the second one has a door ( a broken one but is cover , but there is always someone in it ,mostly a stripper sitting down using the phone .) but the third one , is in front of the mirrors and it doesn't have a door ! i'am disgusted by the idea of some one out there watching peeing ! i think they should make changes cuz is a horrible thing . i'am offended . really nice people in there, def not that best place in miami but at least they make u feel comfortable .but the cameras IF they are ON , isn't that illegal ? read more
