Barebottle is one of my favorite breweries. I did not mind traveling out to the city to enjoy some barebottle. I was very pleased when they opened this location! So much closer to me. Barebottle always delivers delicious, mouthwatering, tasty hazy fruity IPAs. The staff memebrs are all so friendly. Food was not always offered when they first opened. So this was a huge bonus when they dropped their food menu! Their wings in particular are very crispy and thicc! There is a decent size patio area for little gatherings. This location of Barebottle brewing is very large and clean. On the far left side is the bar, and on the far right side is a cozy section with couches, pinball machines, and games. The middle has many tables for patrons to sit at. We parked (incorrectly) in some random parking garage, but you're supposed to park right across the street; Follow the signs for restaurant and shops parking (that we somehow missed). After a short wait on a Sunday afternoon, the bartender allowed us to taste a few beers on the menu that caught my eye. The cider (for you non beer drinking folk) was dangerously delicious and I really enjoyed their "fruited sours" line. Definitely would come back to relax at this location. read more

I love that they have a large focus on sours and now they even offer cider from a local cider house. You have to come check it out. Vibes are on point, such a chill spot. We visited on a Saturday late afternoon. Parking is a little tricky. You need to park by the Whole Foods area and then walk. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is music playing. This was a fun brewery to go to with a group. Music was great, the staff were welcoming and informative. The tables were clean and ranged from cocktail tables to bench tables. There were so many beers to choose from, hard to decide and we opted for two flights. The flight holder had numbers which associated with the beer we ordered on the paper. The pours were huge and we should have opted for just one flight. The pizza they served look good but we had a dinner to go to after, otherwise we would have ordered. There were plenty of board games available as well as their arcade games. There are no beverages allowed by the arcade area. The bathrooms were maintained well. As we were leaving, we saw a party arriving for a private party. Bare Bottle would be great for birthdays. read more

We often drink and enjoy Barebottle beers, but rarely make it out to the actual taproom. Came here twice within a month after having visitied the one in Menlo Park. The ambiance is nice and reflects a beer hall with the long wooden tables. It certainly seems like a popular spot given that a lot of the tables were reserved for specific time slots, leaving minimal seating for those walking in. They have beers available in several styles, and a separate area/line for takeout orders. Their kitchen offers salads and pizzas, along with a few snacks such as tater tots and garlic knots. We ended up walking over here after we ate dinner at Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen and Bar. So conveniently located, secluded, and a hidden gem. We arrived here on a Friday night for some after dinner drinks. The brewery is located in a nice modern plaza off Bowers avenue in Santa Clara. Parking is accessible in the parking garage and the large parking lot a couple of blocks away but it can be busy during prime hours. Upon walking in, since it was a Friday night, it was packed. There were a lot of long picnic tables everywhere and TVs hanging on the walls. Sofas along with pin ball machines, shuffle board, and a pool table were to the right side corner. We were able to eventually grab a long table with high chairs for our group. There was a solid beer selection on tap. One of our friends bought a round of pilsners for the first round. I do not normally drink pilsners but the beer was still refreshing and light. I took care of the second round of beers which was a mix of hefeweizen and hazy IPA beers. My hazy IPA, Terpenes in time, was delicious and citrusy in a good way. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the beer draft menu. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Barebottle Brewing Company. When we are in the area, we will be back. I hope to try some of the other draft beers on tap. read more

Super fantastic spot! We work across the street and had a sales event. I reserved the lounge area - it was two couches and a few tables right next to the video games. It's a great space and I would say the pricing is fine - most event venue places if you spend a minimum, the facility is not charged. They charge, which is fine when its reasonable, which I think this is. Food - I would not call them pizzas, even deep dish pizzas, they are like focaccia pies with the most fantastic toppings - fresh, plentiful and really fun flavor combos! From the meat to veggie options - our team loved them all. I love the variety. One pizza feeds 2-3, but really most people had 1 piece and felt full. Wings are fine - think they pre-frozen and come out with a few sauces, that's great. Tater tots = amazing and then they have a few other side combos - like artichoke hearts and yummy brussel sprouts (yes I said yummy). I really enjoyed the food and it was PERFECT for our welcome reception. Our team would go up to counter to order their beverages, seamless - really nice pours and great options! No complaints on options at all! The staff - AH-MAZING! Gabriella helped us book our food for the day, I went earlier and she took such great care of me. Matthew and Ariel(sp) were there in the evening with Mathew doing the heavy lift for delivering all of our food. He was wonderful! We really appreciated the service. The only issue I have is the archaic/convoluted ordering process - it's not clear how you order your food if you reserve a space. They have a catering option, but it says what time for pickup - which is confusing, and when you reserve a space, you do have some expecations that someone is there to support you! So I would just make it more clear. But I emailed the support and had an answer within an hour or two, so that was wonderful! All around, love it - I probably won't be back until AFTER superbowl - but looking forward to planning my next event! read more

There wasn't a beer I didn't enjoy and that's saying a lot because I hate beer. The appetizers they have were alright but the service and vibe of the place was great. We went during a football game and everyone was cheering and enjoying their time. There's also a little arcade section to just kill some time and play with some friends. It's been a while since I last visited barebottle. Stopped by this past weekend on a Sunday. I've always liked that it's a very spacious brewery. Large tables, good for a big group or shared with another small group (if it ever gets too busy). I was surprised to see they have a whole menu for food now! We tried one of the Detroit style pizzas (regular size), tater tots, and wings. Tots and wings were baked, so they weren't oily. Tots had a chimichurri-like sauce to it. Not your typical dipping sauce but it still tasted good and freshly made. Prices were a bit high but it is convenient to have more food options in-house now. I'm a west coast ipa gal, so they had one option available that day. I usually like their selections of beers! The beer signs are always so nicely written/designed. Easy to view and order at the bar area. They have a couple of TVs so it was nice to have both the nba and mlb games on. There's a section dedicated to arcade-like games with couch seating. There's also outdoor seating available too. Good brewery to hang out at if you're in the area. On the weekends, free parking at the structure across the street! read more

Great spot for a beer and some food in Santa Clara! Came here after an event at Levi's for lunch and a beer. Great selection on tap and the pizzas were delicious. The spicy pineapple was by far the best of the 3 we had. The bbq chicken was 2nd best and a close 3rd was the Buffalo chicken. The Brussel sprouts were just ok, fantastic flavor but didn't like that they were shredded and not charred, garlic knots also ok but the hot marinara and ranch brought them up a notch. Reserved the outdoor patio at Barebottle Santa Clara for a birthday party with ~30 guests. The site makes it super easy to reserve ahead of time and was one of the lower res options in SJ for a bigger group at 240$. Staff were super helpful and attentive, refilling our water, plates, napkins, utensils. The team is great there. We didn't know where to park initially, but the garage across the street has ample space. Loved their selection of beers and their food menu. We got the Detroit style pizzas - so good - wings and garlic knots among other items. Multiple people got tasters which they really enjoyed. This place was absolutely packed after work, so keep that in mind if you're going with a group. It might take a bit of a wait to get a table as they are first come, first serve. 4.5 stars- Barebottle Brewing Company had been on my radar to try for a while, and the place did not disappoint. The taproom is located in the modern & bustling Santa Clara Square. Great place to catch up with a friend, stop in for a cold beer, or just relax. I would consider this place an upccale brewery. Very nice beer selection here! Especially the IPAs. I came here with my friend who wanted to play chess. I suggested a brewery and we met here. Their beer selection is rather impresive, and they have it nicely broken down by beer type on the menu. I tried 2 different IPA's, one called the Unicorn Dust IPA & another called the Juicy Couture IPA. Both were very flavorful and delicious! I love how you can get a 5 oz pour and it still comes in the lovely & more fancy looking beer glass. The place itself is fairly spacious. Plenty of tables and couches. When you walk in, the arcades are on the right. Order your beer and food on the left. Looks like they added a food menu recently. Also, they have a water hydration area to get water. Parking is convenient - park nearby on the main strip with the Sephora, Starbucks, & restaruants; in the Whole Foods lots; or across the street in the parking garage. I feel the best breweries are the ones that JUST focus on the beer. A place where we can bring our own food. Quality/Quantity - Mini Muir - Hazy Pale Ale, might be the first time I tried a hazy pale ale. Usually it is an IPA. This (just like their flagship beer) is way too easy to drink. Muir Woods - Their flagship beer; I can see why. So smooth and easy to drink. Too easy... Atmosphere - Good size location. Separate entrance for to-go orders. Indoor, outdoor (heated during the winter) seating. Small arcade, pool table, etc. Table, counter, lounge seating. Is this a big meeting/hook up place? See pictures of events. Open 7 days a week from noon till 9pm or 11pm. Men and women restrooms; the best part is the hand washing stations are NOT in the bathrooms. Garage guest parking, no problem today. Apart from beers, this is a great place to celebrate simple and chill gatherings with friends! Booked a few tables online to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone had fun. We got to bring our own food, and then we got our drinks from their bar (outside drinks not allowed). They have a good variety of beers and drinks to choose from, and both ladies and gents from the guests got to choose a good drink to fit their preferences. Prices are also decent. The place is pretty spacious. There were 20+ of us and we had areas to move around and mingle without bothering other regular customers. The staff were nice. I literally stopped by when I saw the pinball machines through the windows. It was fun! The place is spacious and has plenty of seats. You can play pool, race or play guitar if you are not into pinball. The place is of course famous for a big variety of beer, and there are so many different things to choose from! They have game nights, chess plays and so on! I tried the following: - Athletic N/A Beer - 12oz -$6.00. - it was okay, but probably I will not try it again. - Coco Froth Nitro Milk Stout - 5.8% ABV - $8.00 - it was very smooth and you can feel cocoa flavours! The prices were average and regular for the bar I'd say. Staff was friendly! There is a parking garage nearby or you can also find some street parking slots close by. We made the mistake of coming in around 10:15 pm on a Saturday. Yeah, I know, that's around 1:15 am Santa Clara Time, but we don't get a lot of opportunities to get out these days and Barebottle is one of my favorite breweries. They already looked annoyed to see customers approaching the taps in the first place and then promptly (and wordlessly) shut things down entirely at around 10:30 pm without even so much as a last call. So basically we got all of one beer and then the staff just stood looking bored at that point. I remember when they opened this location up right before the pandemic; it was such a cool spot and I was always a bit bummed we didn't get to spend more time here. Flash forward to today and this place seemingly just exists to host corporate events. I love Barebottle beer but my god they seem to hate actually pouring you beer after 5 pm in the city that always sleeps. Bottom line: Do not bother coming here after 9 pm; they are not actually open until 11 pm other than being some sort of lame techie cafe. read more

Awesome brewery with amazing beers on a rotating menu. Definitely recommend barebottle for the tasty brews, but also they have a small arcade/pinball area. It is clean inside with picnic style tables and they have a few outdoor seating as well. It is dog friendly so you may see dogs inside and outside on the weekends! The negatives about barebottle is that they often run out of some of the beers and keep taking it off the menu through the day. Also, people can book the arcade area and tables and it seems to be booked every time I go so they block it off and won't let the public use the arcade/pinball machines. My family and I had a nice Saturday afternoon here. Obviously great selection of beers. Service is amazing, everyone we encountered was friendly and nice to chat with about the beers. I like the space it's very open and good areas for groups of people to visit. My niece and nephew were with us, they are in their teens and they enjoyed hanging out with the group. Probably my favorite breweries for their Hazys! I tried Barebottle out at a taproom, and fell in love with the hazy there. Unfortunately, I don't think they carry that one anymore. Swung by this location once I found out there was a Barebottle close to me! This is a nice spot with quite a bit of indoor seating and some fun games. We visited, all had physical IDs and one had an official California mDL. We experienced repeated ID checks, additional scrutiny, and were ultimately asked to leave. This is one of my favorite places in the area to take coworkers out for a small bite and good beer. The inside is mainly first come first serve and some larger tables for reservations. It is usually not crazy busy but when we came last, we had to sit outside but luckily they had a heated area. You order at the bar for food and beer. Pretty quick service and they bring the food out to you. The empanadas are really good even though they are Argentinian style. Highly recommend. I believe they even allow outside food. read more
