Sometimes it's the little things that elevate an experience. In this situation was waiting for me to return and taking my drink order, sharing a sandwich and they splitting it into separate plates without us asking. Brew City Grill sent my fiance a birthday coupon so we decided to stop by. It's a nice spot with lots of TVs to watch the games. The staff was friendly and quick. They checked in on us regularly throughout our meal and bussed our dirty dishes quickly. We ordered the draft root beer, bone-in buffalo wings, large brew city grill pizza, and Steve Austin burger. The root beer was fine, but my fiance and I weren't sure if it was anything special. The wings were good. They were coated in a healthy amount of sauce and had a decent crisp. My pizza was a good size and super cheesy. I liked the combination of toppings. The crust was flaky, but a little bland. I still enjoyed it overall. My fiancés burger and onion rings were good. An interesting restaurant great for watching sports TV and hanging out. I believe parking can be limited though I was lucky enough to find a spot. It was a Thursday weeknight so I was able to get a table and the restaurant was not quite fully occupied. There is an outdoor patio by the front entrance. Service was very good and the food was delivered very timely. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips and my friend ordered the carne asada mexican plate. The fish and chips was excellent and quite a large portion. They also have a large craft beer selection. We also shared a plate of the nachos which was also very good. This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Brew City Grill. I was surprised to be able to walk-in on a Friday night around 7pm and easily get a table for 2 inside (there is plenty of outside seating as well). This is more of a family type/sports bar restaurant so a good place to grab a beer and watch sports (last night it was the Sharks Hockey game). Food: This time I ordered a Reuben sandwich -- it was very good with lots of corned beef -- maybe could have use a tad more Thousand Island dressing on it. I ordered onion rings as a side, they make excellent onion rings here. My partner had the birria tacos which were good, but he probably liked the fish and chips he got last time better. We came around dinner time on a Friday and were able to get a comfy booth as soon as we walked in. So many great options to pick from. They have a special menu on the side too. The food was brought out super fast. Chili fries: the fries were so good. The fries were crispy and never got soggy even at the very bottom. Well balanced with the flavors and the onions on top made it refreshing. Loaded nachos: these were delicious, the right amount of spice and savoriness. Brew city pizza: the crust was delicious and they loaded it up with so many quality toppings. There was a bit of extra moisture from the veggies but the crust held up and was still crispy. Beer flight: the glasses were the perfect size for a flight. We got the #2,3,4, and 8 on the menu. All good, though our top favorite was #2 from Russian river. On top of the quick service and good food, I have to admit the atmosphere was notable too. It wasn't extremely loud even though they were busy. I love that they offer different sizes for the food because I'm someone who wants to try different dishes. We got half loaded nachos, half chili fries, and a small pizza. We were in the area and tried Brew City Grill because of the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. We were seated immediately (it was Veteran's Day, holiday for some people). The food and drink menus had a lot of options, making it hard to decide on what to eat and drink. So we ordered several dishes. I was in the neighborhood seeking a quick sud and also check up on some NFL scores. It was nearing closing time on a Sunday evening, but I found this place in close proximity. I did grab a few beers for take out. I slid into the bar for a quick Sip of IPA. It was a west coast IPA from Santa Cruz it was delicious. Pozole for the win! Most places do not offer pozole, but when I see it, I order it. So glad I did. It's a pozole Verde and comes in a cup or bowl. Ordered the bowl. They are generous with chicken and hominy and the broth/soup base is tasty. It comes with the fixin's - chopped white onion, radish slices, lime wedges and tortilla strips. It also comes with a generous handful of tortilla chips and a cream based salsa. Very good. We also ordered the strawberry arugula salad. Portions are large, the strawberries were fresh and ripe. I loved how chill this place is. When I ate here, it felt like a lazy, breezy, Sunday afternoon. Its dog friendly at the patio seating outside. Its very nice inside too. Came to Brew City Grill after getting a birthday promo flyer in the mail. So nice they have indoor/outdoor (dog-friendly) seating and a waitlist - but we didn't have to wait for weeknight dinner. Only thing about the outdoor area is a few flies. The taplist was impressive - loved the diversity of beers, ciders and more. RE the food menu, we would come back just for the cheese curds. I LOVE cheese curds, but they're usually too bready. These ones are the best I've had - lightly breaded and great flavor. My cousin got the Steve Austin burger, which he said was pretty good. Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I'm here at Brew City Grill in Campbell this evening. I saw something here, that I really wanted, I knew exactly what to get. I got me a large Birria Pizza. It's the best of both Worlds, Pizza, and Birria. This is a one beautiful looking Pizza Pie, and one of a kind creation. It has Beef, Guajillo and Ancho Sauce, Cheese, Onions, Cilantro, Radish, Poblano Crema, and lime in it. The Crust was really good, it was flavorful, it was Light, savory, and I like some of the Radish that was a nice touch and Cuts through it. And I had to get a Cup, of that Black Cherry Tarragon soda. Brew City Grill is quite inconsistent. On a good day, they have good service and fresh food. I'm going to tell you about two recent experiences I had here: A few months ago, I went with a group of people and the waiter added a bunch of items to the bill that we didn't order (and of course didn't receive). When we called him to fix it, he seemed to know exactly what we were complaining about and came back with the correct invoice. I found that difficult to believe was an accident, and I wrote to BCG about it but never received any response. Today, we ordered online for pickup. They had the initial food ready for pickup, but the food was cold and the items were wrong. When we got home and discovered that the order was wrong (one item was incorrect), they said they had the correct order and we had to go exchange it. No apologies, no refunds. Since I didn't want food that was sitting around for 45 minutes, I requested they make new dishes for pickup when we arrive. It wasn't ready. We had to talk to multiple people to pick up the order. When we got home, it was again cold-ish. The nacho chips were soggy and stale and virtually no carnitas in it. The Nashville chicken salad was ok but I'd expect more than half a fried chicken breast and 1/8 of an avocado for $17. It was packaged with zero utensils or napkins. Come on. Overall, I hope they improve because they have potential and it's very close to home. read more

The calamari was slightly overcooked and had a dense consistency. However, the breading is very crispy and provides a satisfying crunch. The chipotle mayo dipping sauce has a great kick and is very delicious. The cocktail sauce is an iconic one and tastes delicious as well. The spicy pineapple pizza has a nice kick from the jalapeños and the savory pepperoni and sweet pineapple is a great combo. The hot honey accompanies the flavors beautifully and the crust was delectable. Last but not least... lava cake! It was very fluffy and it wasn't overly sweet. If you enjoy a chocolate explosion in your mouth then this is for you! The juxtaposition of the very cold vanilla ice cream against the gooey molten lava cake goodness was a sensation on my tongue. Not a real big place but lots of tables & about 15 chairs at the bar. We arrived about 3pm on a Sunday & found 2 bar seats right away. The crowd was chill but energetic. Its a mix of customers with famalies & friends with sports on tv above the bar. I could see parking being a problem at times but we found a space without waiting. This was our very first time going as a family of 4, we were truly amazed by everything when it came to service and the food. The food was exceptionally fantastic, we had awesome flavors in the food. When it came to the burger, just be careful because the Serrano Chile can be spicy. Portions were fantastic. Dessert was delicious. The green posole was absolutely delicious.
