I have been remiss in posting a review about this place. About 8 months ago, I remodeled my kitchen…read moreand needed a large amount of new countertops. I wanted quartz, and if you know anything about quartz, you know it can get pricey quick. I shopped around to almost every store in town that was Google-able. I went to a giant warehouse near downtown where you can look at huge slabs up close and in person and, of course, found a really expensive stone that I just loved. I took this picture to many people to see who could obtain it. Imperial could. And cheaper than others. But what really gives them 5 stars is that the owner (husband and wife team) told me she could get a really similar stone for even less. I was wary to buy something I hadn't seen so she made some calls and had the supplier bring a giant slab to her store just for me-- at no obligation! Their storeroom isn't impressive but they do have many large slabs in the back, as well as some remnants you can look through for smaller things such as vanities. And when I saw the new, and cheaper, stone I was very excited. It was almost exactly the same but would save me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (I cannot remember the exact savings). Since we were behind on our kitchen renovation, I was worried about getting the countertops measured in case something changed. The husband came to measure and was very easy going about the whole process and reassured me small changes we were considering wouldn't be an issue. The installation went well; their installers were very polite and worked quickly. There were a few minor issues that they came back and resolved quickly. Now, the countertops are still gorgeous and there have been no issues. Included with my purchase was a free stainless steel, undermount, very deep and wide single sink. I had originally planned on buying one elsewhere so that saved me another few hundred dollars. I was a bit worried though as I'd read reviews online about some sinks scratching easily but this one does not. And the installers showed me a trick: if it does get a minor scratch, use some steel wool and gently rub it away! When I need stone for my bathroom countertop, I will definitely be calling on them!

A Chimney Sweep and technician came over and showed us a lot of pictures detailing the damage and explained everything to us. A lot of trust is involved as I am not going on the steep roof to touch this chimney. Once we made the repair appointment, Four Winds took care of everything. The worker and supervisor kept us informed as the work progressed. I've had them back for the first annual inspection and everything is working as it should be. The office staff are easy to work with and scheduled annual check-ups on my new chimney. I feel their pricing is fair and reasonable. Why did I wait 2 years to write a review? I'm used to city contractors letting me down. So I've been waiting for something to go wrong. It hasn't!! This company does what it says it will do and they do it well. A plus? Every time they visit I get to shake hands with a real Chimney Sweep and receive blessings of good luck. How can you go wrong?

We needed an inspection and cleaning which revealed some significant repairs. We booked it and from beginning to end, it was smooth sailing with them. They consistently told me what was going on, where there technicians were and how much longer the work would be, each day. We had several different crews at different stages in the process and each and every one was great! They showed up on time, text to let us know they were coming, set up protective plastic sheets in the house, wore boot covers while in the house and worked hard each day. For all the work that they did, it was well worth every penny! Once complete, the work is fantastic and now we are enjoying our fireplace. Thank you 4 winds chimney!

I am not known for poor reviews but this is one of them…read more Hired Isaac a couple of years ago for an inspection and cleaning on our furnace, tankless water heater and air conditioner. Was pleased with the service so we bought one of their expensive maintenance plans. First of all, you have to call them every year to return for a cleaning and inspection. They should call us to schedule service thru their expensive plan. Fine. We are considering moving so I called for an inspection and cleaning. They wouldn't do the A/C bc it was February. Again, fine. Well the nightmare began. Now keep in mind everything worked perfectly prior to this service. Again, cleaning and inspection. Tech started inspection. Soon I heard a half hour of very loud metallic banging. I asked how it was going and was told he was trying to free a part to clean and check it. In the end, couldn't get it. Specialist had to return. Specialist returned and said igniter was bad. Changed it and it cost $162 which was the cost after the $600 maintenance plan previously mentioned. Pretty quickly we noticed more trouble. No hot water for a number of minutes. You may say no big deal but try running your bath for 3 to 5 minutes bf you get hot water. This happens on every faucet too. So we called again. Tech came and now found a bunch of gas leaks and the heat exchanger was bad. Cost $300 after their wonderful $ 600 maintenance plan. They also repaired some of the gas leaks. Said RGE had to fix another one. RGE came and said no leak. Hmmmmm... And I can't help to wonder how much of this is a result of the first Tech banging away full force on a very intricate and fragile piece of equipment. And we don't even have the new heat exchanger installed yet!! No call with an update, no call to schedule appt. Nothing. 2 months ago we called for an inspection. $500 later (not including the investment in the $600 maintenance plan) we have a non properly functioning water heater, no appointment and no plan. So much for hiring a big company for expertise, service and peace of mind. Ill update when, I mean if this gets resolved.

We also stopped out to their store in Greece and met with the owners son, John, who impressed us with his expertise and character. We were impressed with the fact that they would not subcontract the job, but do all the work in house. They removed the old, very heavy and clumsy firebox and installed a new gas fireplace. In addition we replaced the surrounding faux stone facing with a more attractive cultured stone. We are thrilled with the new look and the convenience of gas over a wood burning fireplace. The owners son, John and his son Kevin, along with a young man who helps them, did the complete install, except for the fireplace shelf. They installed a beautiful stone fireplace in our cathedral ceiling family room. It was a labor intensive process, and they were very careful and creative in the application of the many stone pieces. We cannot compliment them enough for the job they did. They were prompt each day and were very fastidious when it came to cleaning dirt and dust, as the job went along during the day, as well as at the end of each day. They tarped everything to reduce the dust(although it is impossible to keep dust totally out of other parts of the downstairs living area). Leading up to the job, Melissa, the office secretary and Jack, the owner were quick to respond to questions and scheduling matters. We would recommend them if you are looking for an excellent product(Regency Fireplaces) installed at a reasonable price in a professional manner.
