I booked a dinner cruise for 27 people. Dawn was super helpful in the booking logistics . The boat was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a well-stocked cash bar on board. Because we didn't have a larger group we weren't able to rent out the private space and had to share with a few other people not from our group. The music was good but way too loud and we had to yell at each other over the music. Many of our group had not seen each other for years and we really wanted to spend the time catching up not listening to a concert while eating dinner on a boat. It would be better to have the music as background music not the main entertainment. All in all my group had a good time although they said in the future we want a place that is quieter and more private so we can catch up. We also would've preferred a longer cruise as two hours was really short. read more

Booking online was easy. Matthew was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly and professionally. We were seated at our dining table immediately one on the Barefoot Queen. The meal started with a small basic salad. One issue at that point was the salads were served in small saucers rather than a salad bowl. The is certainly not a deal breaker item. The meal was absolutely delicious. It was chicken in a mushroom sauce, bbq ribs, rice, mixed vegetables, and roasted potatoes. Again, the meal was delicious. The total float was slated for 2 hours and indeed it was that... almost to the minute. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening on The Barefoot Queen. read more

The Barefoot Queen is a very traditional riverboat experience. The dining area was comfortable with windows all around. The food was simple but superb. The singer made the evening, moving the rating to a solid 5. He was versatile with tremendous range. His specialty was Elvis, and we tried to stump him. He managed every song we requested. He also provided a commentary about the sites as we crused the waterway. The bar is priced fairly and the bar host has a great sense of humor. We are already planning a return trip while we are in Myrtle Beach. read more

On Wednesday June 14th, 17 members of our family boarded the Barefoot Queen for an afternoon trivia luncheon cruise. We cannot explain what an amazing experience this was. The boat personell was very friendly and tried to accomodate our every wish. The large sandwiches were freshly made, generous and delicious. The entertainer was friendly and had a beautiful voice. The trivia game was amazing and enjoyed by everyone. This cruise was a wonderful addition to our family beach vacation and we would reccommend it to anyone. read more

We had so much fun on the Barefoot Queen. The entertainment was excellent. The hostess and entertainer named Lee was so engaging and entertaining. She was knowledgeable about the sights we saw. All of the crew members were great. From the trolley driver to our welcome crew. They offered to take pictures for our group. We sang along with Lee and enjoyed the scenery. The only thing I wish they had was a better lunch selection. I would recommend this excursion to everyone who is in the Myrtle Beach area. read more

Treated my wife to the two hour dinner cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway. Captain Tuck and the rest of the crew were most congenial and helpful making us feel so welcome on board. The dinner surprised us as it was outstanding and we didn't expect it to be so delicious. The ride itself was very pleasant on a beautiful day! However, the crew should have guided guests on seating to ensure everyone could be inside if desired. For instance, some tables for six were occupied by groups of four. Thus, our group of four was forced to be outside. Also, the sandwiches were paltry. This was a fun way to see a part of Myrtle Beach that is not visible from 17. The meal on the dinner cruise was simple but very tasty. We enjoyed the entertainment, which included cruising music and commentary about the celebrity homes we saw along the way. I use a walker and the booking office and crew were very helpful in getting me to the dock and onto the boat. The crew was a fun group to cruise with. read more

We had a private table for two right by the window. Bartender was very helpful and made sure we always had full drinks. Staff was friendly. Had to wait a bit for the shuttle but worth it. Seats in the shuttle were very small and several of us banged our heads on the over compartment. Could use a bigger shuttle. Food was good just needed a bigger plate or second helping. The cruise is one of the best experiences when visiting the area or even for locals like us to get out once in awhile. The food is good. The service is attentive without being overbearing and the entertainment is top notch. We've cuised three times now and on two of them the entertainer was one of the Elvis's from the Legends show. We had our lunch tour cruise today on the barefoot queen ship at myrtle beach . absolutely amazing. Les the tour guide was an awesome singer. Audry his wife was so friendly and kind. kylie the bartender was awesome and the pina coladas were delicious. if you have not tried this cruise you have to try it. We had Jerry as our singer/tour guide and he was such an superb. His had a cast knowledge of the waterway and his voice belongs on Broadway. So glad we decided to take this trip. read more

Though a little difficult to reach by phone, they do call you back. The cruise is really nice, touring a portion of the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach. The kids enjoyed dancing to the music. We do recommend the Barefoot Queen when you're in Myrtle Beach. read more
