First let me say this store has only recently opened and I have visited twice. To say it is high…read moreend is an understatement. I found one of the softest shirts I have ever felt, but nothing particularly different in design, and it was over $200. So needless to say I did more looking than buying. From the moment you walk in this store there is so much to see, and it is filled with very unique home decor items, local items, exclusive infant wear and gifts, the afore mentioned exclusive clothing and then other almost obscure items like these really cool looking toddler convertible scooters for $130. I am still thinking about buying one for my granddaughter, but haven't taken the plunge. There are 2 pink Christmas trees filled with totally whimsical felted ornaments, everything from jelly fish to mice on skis. There was seasonal home decor for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Items for children like coloring placemats are sold along with fancy platters and tableware. Local items like a $69 large cream color pillow had all the Jersey Shore beaches listed in a black ink font. Very nice for a local beach house or to have as a memory of the best beaches on the east coast. I was impressed with the number of people working in there, all of whom seemed knowledgeable about the merchandise. One person immediately came to demonstrate the cool scooter when I expressed interest. I think if you are visiting with plenty of money, a desire for something different, or a fairly high credit limit you may find yourself happily leaving the store with a large ride on stuffed unicorn, or a hand knit maxi dress that your grandmother used to knit overnight but is now super cool. I think the entire store is super cool, even if it is mostly out of my price range.

Stopped in here while in WW for a week because I was hoping to bring some home decor for a homesick…read moreheart, and I was really amazed by how wide of a selection was available! Everything ranging from handpainted trinkets to entire signs dedicated to all the stores I've known and loved for the last 20 years, down to the most delicate bottles of sand and shells. Unfortunately, I had to take a plane to come here, so buying anything larger was off the table-- I do so wish they had an online store!-- but the small items I bought were both adorable and incredibly well priced. On top of that, I was greeted as soon as I entered, and the easygoing conversation I shared with the cashier while checking out brought the entire shopping experience to a perfect end. I hope this shop stays for many more years to come, because I want to stop by again next year with a bigger suitcase!

I would say if you want a very nice Wildwood, down at the beach, souvenir--whether for yourself or…read moreothers--this is the place you want to go. SELECTION I think it had such a great selection of items, and the first store that I found that had Wildwood NJ stickers. I liked to scrapbook, and I always like to have a sticker from the place I was at. If you like that type of thing, this place has so many to choose from! They also in general just have many different nicknacks of your choice! The only thing I wish they had had was a better souvenir for something with names on them. I wanted to get something for my boyfriend with his name on it, but couldn't find anything I liked. The ones they had was a bottle with sand, and like that's just not the vibe. Seeing as the seagull is the Wildwood NJ mascot, I would have loved to see something done with that! Something a little more unique and fun, if you ask me. ATMOSPHERE This place was a vibe! It really stood out to me on the boardwalk, especially at night! I'm so glad I walked in because I felt like a kid in a candy store. Everything was so well lit and well organized. It really felt like I could be inside for a very long time. Very cozy! OVERALL Definitely should be your go to for souvenirs or even if you want to have more of a beach aesthetic home decor. They definitely have you covered for that! A tiny shop but enough room for everyone to get around. The cashier was very kind!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Expensive beyond reason, dishonest and incredibly rude…read more My experience: 1) Fluctuating pricing 2) Misrepresentation of availability and service 3) Extraordinarily rude management when they refused to deliver on their promises. The backstory: We went to the store in Mid July to schedule shrink wrap service right after Labor Day. Was assured it would be no problem but would need to call after 8/19 to schedule. We even looked at a calendar upstairs and the store associate assured me an appointment would be easy to get because most folks don't schedule until late September or October. This was a great reassurance as we need to leave right after Labor Day for back-to-school. After an onsite consultation where I tipped the guys $20 each on a hot day, I was told by the store the estimate I received was not necessarily accurate and they would not have pricing for a few weeks. Today, 8/20, I called to schedule the service and hear final price. The owner, Scott Fisher, was incredibly rude and told me they could not possibly get to me until after we leave the area for the summer. This was a date which we indicated at the beginning of the process. His reasoning was they have a sidewalk sale the weekend before. Also something they would have known about when we made the initial inquiry. Adding insult to injury, Mr. Fisher was constantly talking over me in a condescending manner and would not let me finish my sentence. I strongly suspect he would not have taken the same tone had it been my husband calling. His behavior was so appalling that I hung up the phone. I'm in shock at how this man would communicate to a long-time customer. Sincerely recommend True Value in CMCH as a more affordable and much more pleasant option.

I find that the price on most garments is reasonable and sometimes you can get a great deal on clearance items too. I purchased a beautiful beaded cover up on clearance years ago that is so pretty I can wear it as a top with something underneath. On this trip I found 2 cute zipper super soft robes with fun seashore/summer prints. They are baby soft and have pockets. I sure couldn't argue with the price on clearance for 21$, not in a town that charges over 30$ for a stone harbor t shirt. Making Waves carries very pretty Stone Harbor T shirts for a mere 14$, in the past I've gotten some nice sweatshirts with "Stone Harbor" printed on a soft green fabric. When I was there this week, I have to agree with the other reviewer, the cashier wasn't terribly friendly. She had her back turned to me and was conducting a conversation with another employee. She reluctantly turned around to ring my purchase up. I almost felt as though they felt that they were doing me a favor by selling me 2 garments. Unfortunately on this last visit I would say that the customer service was lacking. May just be a "one off" as most of my experiences have been positive. The cashier and someone else (maybe the owner?) were bantering about another employee who apparently didn't know what they were doing - something about her first time "closing". Not very professional to me, complaining about another employee- ok- if she did a lousy job maybe talk about her behind her back off the sales floor? I would still go back because I like the selection. Whoever does the purchasing for this store has incredible taste! Excellent colors, beautiful ageless styles for all. The prices are good and not "museum" SH prices aka 200+ dollars for a dress or pair of pants- which is utter nonsense to this girl. I know it can get boring in retail- especially on a slow day with barely anyone in the store. I visited 7/9/19 in the afternoon.
