Where did 70% of the inventory go? What about accessories, shoes, bags? What about the luxury items for a special event? Home accessories? Sale rack? It's so DRASTICALLY different...and NOT good. I was looking forward to see how they would put their spin on a classic boutique in Stone Harbor. They still have a Lilly selection, although it's so much smaller than it used to be. I loved seeing some Instagram favorite brands like Farm Rio and The Striped Sheep in the racks, but like a previous reviewer indicated, I was missing the usual volume of fun inventory, cute, whimsical things you would only be able to find at the shore. It felt more like the boutiques I encounter in Manhattan. I also missed the warmth toward the customers. Not a single associate interacted with my mother and I when we browsed, which was incredibly disappointing for two, loyal People People customers.

I have shopped in the bryn Mawr store in the past and have pieces that have lasted decades. I purchased my first pair of Mother pants and jeans here and I have been hooked. But want to say- today was lovely. While I didn't make a purchase- Joyce helped me and was just beyond. She was helping me, another woman AND navigating a customer on the phone. And never did I feel like I was second rate. I tried on three pairs of jeans. None worked. But she cared and asked me why and understood. I know I will be back to see what other amazing finds they have this season. I got to reminisce about my first Autumn Cashmere piece I bought from Skirt so many years ago and was thrilled to see that had a summer selection- ladies it's worth the price. The thing that makes this shop different is they have a full size embroidery machine on site. The quality of their garments is very high and the embroidery can be personalized with a very quick turnaround. They carry some other high quality and different designers with sea and beach themes. When you purchase items from this small business, the owner and her family are the ones who will wait on you and make sure you are happy. The price point is about the same as other beachwear type shops, and the quality is quickly apparent when you see and feel the garments. If you are in Stone Harbor make sure to get off the main shopping street and up a block to find the Happy Hunt right on the corner!

The owner told me this is her 3rd location and she only recently opened in this location 2 months ago. The shop is beautifully appointed and items are displayed attractively. I purchased a really cute pair of pants at sale price, but for the most part items are unique and priced accordingly. This is a store for a discerning customer who appreciates fine things that can't be found elsewhere and is willing to pay for them. This shop has fine shoes, purses, accessories and clothing items for women. There are items for a younger demographic but the mature shopper will be very enticed by the items in the shop. The location of the shop is next to a long time Stone Harbor women's clothing store, Gingy's, Stephanie's, an upscale gift shop and the Happy Hunt, a locally themed beachwear shop. It is definitely a shop to visit when you venture off the main shopping street a block up.
