Fantastic, quiet little breakfast spot in the Huertas neighborhood of Madrid. Service is friendly even if you speak very little Spanish. We ordered eggs & bacon and eggs, spinach and cheese both if which came with sourdough toast. Great coffee and tea and reasonable prices. Plus we had a bird visit us both times!!

This breakfast spot is amazing! The person behind the counter was friendly and didn't mind that we spoke in English. My daughter is not someone that likes eggs so this place had some great options! We ordered the Estupendo (fried chicken) combo meal to share and an almond croissant. The almond croissant was a perfect crispy outside with a nice amount of almond paste (not too sweet). The fried chicken is a generous portion of chicken tenders on a piece of fresh bread with a light pesto sauce and a bed of arugula and greens with grated fresh Parmesan. The Estupendo also had a small plain Greek yogurt with granola on top and a small soft shortbread like cookie. The cookie was a nice sweet surprise! With the order you also get two drinks - my daughter picked an orange juice and I picked a vanilla chai tea. Highly recommend for a quick bite!

If you're looking for a place with fast WiFi, good coffee, lots of table space and friendly staff, this is the place for you. A modern coffee shop with big windows in the center of Madrid that is great for a quick bite or some study time. The barista spoke English and was very nice when I stumbled over my Spanish (I promise I'm working on it!). The pastries looked amazing as well. The music wasn't too loud, but they don't have too many outlets. Definitely more than just BARE(hua)-able!

It all tasted really good! I was going to get a smoothie, but was told they didn't have the machine to make it the day I went, but the staff recommended a milkshake so I got a strawberry one with oat milk and it tasted good and on the natural side, which I enjoyed! There is good indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and very attentive. We went back a couple days later for lunch and the food did not disappoint either. We got the nachos, chicken and waffles, and fish and chips. The same lady helped us out and the food came out relatively quick. Overall, I look forward to returning.

The tofu scramble was definitely the highlight -- being cooked with seemed like kala namak (black salt) or something similar to give it that eggy/sulphuric character. The avocado+tomato toast was also decent, though needed some amping up with extra virgin olive oil and salt that they provided to season for yourself. The combos also come with a choice of coffee drink -- I did a late, which was very well-made. Overall, somewhat Spanish takes on various breakfast/brunch cuisines, done pretty well. Not a standout spot in Madrid, but a cool spot nonetheless that I'd recommended moderately.
