I recently purchased a 2022 Hyundai Kona N Line with only 22k miles, from Florida Fine Cars (4/23)…read moreand I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Exactly 1 week, and 3 days (5/3) after my purchase, the vehicle began experiencing serious transmission problems -- violent jerking on acceleration, grinding sounds, and failure to roll normally when shifted into Drive. When I took it to Braman Hyundai (5/4), I was told the transmission needs to be fully replaced at a cost of $8,500. They mentioned to me that it seems like the transmission was already worked on and they did a very poor job. I checked the carfax report and the one previous owner only serviced the vehicle at hyundai dealerships (nothing serious only service oil changes, and tire rotations) up until it got sold to Florida Fine Cars where they did they're own service to the vehicle. Still not labeled as anything transmission related. They seem to have known about this issue and still sold the car regardless, just not report it to the carfax report. I've seen Florida Fine Cars reply to other 1 star reviews stating they disclose all the information with the customer, and provide honest carfax reports. However, none of this issue was disclosed to me at the time of sale, and it does not appear anywhere on the Carfax report Florida Fine Cars provided me that the transmission was worked on. The only thing they stated was a small accident to the front and side bumper, all cosmetic. I would not have taken the car if the transmission was bad. To make matters worse, I texted the sales representative, Josue (apparently the "new guy") to inform him of the issue with the car HE sold me and he stated to me "bro i don't even work there anymore" Another weird red flag to add to everything. Ive called multiple times, and cant get through to anyone, they say they'll call back but don't. Its almost as if they see my number pop up and purposely not answer because i called from a different phone number and they didn't hesitate to answer, I was able to speak to Mark who was the service manager he said. Saying he'll "look into it" If you are considering purchasing a used car from them, I strongly urge you to have any vehicle independently inspected before signing anything. Do not rely solely on the Carfax they provide you even though they swear by their honest reports.

I had a extremely poor experience here. I was interested in purchasing a 2023 Audi A3. When I…read morearrived at the dealership and test drove the car we discovered the seatbelt had been cut out of the passenger seat. The dealership took no responsibility for knowing this even though the website photos show the seatbelt is cut. No further explanation was ever given. The one and only key they offered me looks like it had been chewed up by a dog and did not function properly. I agreed to purchase the car after a new key was made and the seatbelt was fixed. I put a $500 deposit down on the car and arrived a full week later, only to discover the car was still not ready to be sold and a spare key was never made. Many promises were not kept and I bailed on the car due to extreme frustration and lack of transparency. Hoping future customers have a better experience!

Terrible communication. Slow responses. No update on status of vehicle sale. The lack of support…read moresale started in September 2025 and is still continuing as the New Year 2026 rolls in. After loan approval, it took 14 days to schedule the notary public signing. Several days for them to receive back the paperwork. Then another 14 days to schedule delivery of the vehicle. Another 7-8 days for it to arrive. Once arrived a third party company, Executive Tag & Title Svcs., that holds the title for the finance company, sent a message saying they would take care of getting the vehicle registered. I was not informed by the dealership of this process. I called Executive Tag & Title Svcs. company, to ask a question on the same day that they reached out. Their representative did not reply for another three weeks. On November 3rd the Oregon temporary tags expired, so I was able to get a 30 day moving permit from the Nevada DMV. That temp permit expired on December 3rd. Then after submitting the requested documents, they submitted my document packet to the Nevada DMV. It has taken another 8 weeks for the DMV to issue registration and license plates on December 30, 2025. But Executive Tag & Title Svcs. company had the registration package sent to the dealership in Oregon "at the request of the dealership". So as of today the vehicle still does not have license plates. In the meantime the vehicle was issued a citation of $75 for not having up to date registration by local authorities. Because the vehicle is titled under my company name, I had to get commercial insurance before applying for registration, which costs more than $400 per month. So the vehicle has been sitting idle in front of my house for the last two months, while I'm out of $800 in insurance costs, and two monthly loan payments amounting to nearly $2k. I can not recommend this company.

I was…read morepersuaded to buy a Jeep Gladiator that was roughly $20,000 more expensive than the Wrangler I originally wanted because I was assured it would ride smoother and better suit my needs. That turned out to be false. The ride is terrible. I was also promised that I would be involved in the customization process, but I was not. Decisions were made without the level of input I was told I would have, and the final build did not match the specifications I clearly communicated. I specifically told them the vehicle could not exceed 6'7 in height because I need to fit into parking garages throughout California. I was assured that would not be an issue, yet the final vehicle ended up too tall, and it now causes ongoing problems in daily life. To make matters worse, I was sold expensive insurance that I later found out I cannot even use in my state. I was also charged $3,500 for a custom truck bed cover that is made of cheap plastic and leaks. Because it leaks, mold has grown on items stored in the truck bed. Charging premium prices for workmanship and materials like this is unacceptable. I ended up spending far more than intended on a vehicle and upgrades that did not match what was represented to me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. I paid premium prices based on clear assurances, and what I received did not match what was promised.

From the beginning to the end, I had nothing but a positive experience. Frankie (West Palm) made sure everything went perfect. They did try to low ball me with my trade in value (not Frankie's fault) but ended up giving me what I wanted...and threw in a few extras! I have an extremely busy schedule. Frankie made everything happen on the exact day and time we agreed to...this was HUGE! I bought a new 2025 Gladiator and I am extremely happy with it. I get compliments on it every week. If I ever buy another jacked-up jeep, this is where I am going. I highly recommend them. Thak you Frankie(and everyone else involved) for making this happen!!

***Long Post Alert***…read more The car buying process has NEVER been this easy! I had to call my sales associate back to make sure we didn't forget to do something So after the PB Mitsubishi debacle, I was reminded that I know someone who works at CarMax in VA. So I went on their website and got prequalified. I found the vehicle I wanted in Orlando and then reached out to my guy to see what the next step was. This was on a Friday afternoon. My guy was off that day but jumped right in to assist me. He advised me to schedule a test drive so that the car would be reserved. He looked at what I had submitted and gave me an idea of what my payments would look like and what bank I would get the loan from. He said on Monday he would call me and we would get the process done. Over the weekend, I browsed through their inventory and found another one that I may be interested in that was in NC. Fast forward to Monday (3/17/2015), I spoke to my guy told him that I found a newer model of the vehicle I originally picked out that I wanted. Provided him with the stock number and he advised me to cancel my appointment with the one in Orlando and pay the shipping fee to have the one I wanted shipped to my nearest store. Then he submitted everything to the bank. He then told me that his goal is to make sure when I get to the dealership, I won't need to do much. The ETA for was between 3/22 and 3/27. I was notified every step of the way with the shipping of the vehicle. It arrived at the Royal Palm store on the morning of 3/22. All of my paperwork was submitted on that day and reps from the store made contact with me multiple times throughout the day. By 6:30 that evening, I was at CarMax speaking with Amanda and Brogan (I think that was his name). They were perfect and had me out of there within one hour of my arrival with my keys in my hand!!!!!! I would recommend CarMax to anyone! The customer service was above and beyond from start to finish! In addition, I called a few days later asking for new windshield wipers and they told me to come one over and they would take care of it. They did, with no hassle!

Complete rush of a sale. There's more damage to the car than described on website. Not to mention…read morethat the pictures on website were photoshopped. Attached are pictures of the front passenger side tire with puncture marks and rip on interior wall. Carmax let me drive off the lot like that. I live 20mins away and immediately went flat on the way. The person who changed my tire said I was lucky it didn't pop and disintegrate while on 441. No response from CarMax corporate office about it. Also, needed to put in another 1k because there was no maintenance done on vechile on carmax hands. Even the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Carmax left a gps tracker in the car. Oh, and personal information from previous owners in the glove box. All around hack job. Beware if you are selling or buying at this location Update: Carmax corporate office and royal palm dealership called me to discuss. Jason M, GM of royal palm, was helpful and did everything he could to rectify the situation. That is the only positive to story but not enough to change the rating. The national team is useless. Not one person could name ANY of the 125+ point inspections checks. Empty apologies. Zero care given or compensation for my time and troubles that i need to invest to get the car running properly. I talked to a woman who spoke like a kindergarten teacher and treated me like a little kid. Please note that their sales team is capped on commission so their sales rep are not experts but rather glorified retail associates. I would love to sue them after the ordeal but i am no competition for a billion dollar company. Carmax was founded by the same investors as Circuit City. The downfall will be the same. CM is way too big and corporate to initiate change before failure sets in. Not surprised this company is tanking.
