That excuse was disappointing and felt like a lack of attention to customer service. The service itself may have been fine, but the overall experience and lack of attention to such a simple courtesy left me disappointed. That turned out to be false. The ride is terrible. I was also promised that I would be involved in the customization process, but I was not. Decisions were made without the level of input I was told I would have, and the final build did not match the specifications I clearly communicated. I specifically told them the vehicle could not exceed 6'7 in height because I need to fit into parking garages throughout California. I was assured that would not be an issue, yet the final vehicle ended up too tall, and it now causes ongoing problems in daily life. To make matters worse, I was sold expensive insurance that I later found out I cannot even use in my state. I was also charged $3,500 for a custom truck bed cover that is made of cheap plastic and leaks. Because it leaks, mold has grown on items stored in the truck bed. Charging premium prices for workmanship and materials like this is unacceptable. I ended up spending far more than intended on a vehicle and upgrades that did not match what was represented to me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. I paid premium prices based on clear assurances, and what I received did not match what was promised.

Unfortunately, the customer service was a total disaster from start to finish. First, my initial service advisor repeatedly tried to talk me out of the transmission flush. I know my vehicle well and knew it needed the service, but I had to persistently push just to get them to agree to do the work. It got worse at pickup around 5:00 PM. The dealership was running a skeleton crew, and the advisor handling my checkout completely ignored me when I explicitly stated I wanted to use Sunbit for part of the bill. He didn't listen, swiped my card for $1,000 anyway, and then blamed me, claiming I "never told him." Because of his error, he had to manually refund the $1,000 (which takes 3-5 business days to clear) and rerun the system. Between the Sunbit charge ($400) and the remaining balance ($952), I am now temporarily out nearly $2,400 for a $2,000 bill simply because the employee couldn't be bothered to listen. To top it off, the environment was incredibly unprofessional. The skeleton crew was loudly complaining about staying past 5:00 PM, the checkout advisor was openly bad-mouthing my original service advisor to other coworkers, and he was incredibly rude to the shuttle driver. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because the actual service technician who worked on my car did a great job. The mechanical work was solid, but the front-of-house service was an absolute trainwreck. I will not be returning.
