Just stopped in today. Because I've gone by this place a handful of times, and I wanted to check it out from a curiosity standpoint. First off this place is huge! It's like a giant off brand 99¢ department store. Lots of name brand, generic, and questionable quality items mixed into one. The clothes are more or less streetwear style. But some stuff is reasonably priced. I found cargo shorts cheaper than another store that has an almost identical style. I can't review the furniture as I didn't buy any, but they do have a really really strict return / exchange policy. I have provided a photo of it on the receipt I got today. The cashier could have been friendlier, seemed like she just wanted to get the hell up outta there and I can't really blame her. This store has a mix and match of pretty much everything. From curtains to clothes, beds to blankets, underwear and socks, scrubs, cleaning stuff, hats, cologne, dining room sets, funky lights, and couches, etc. Just be absolutely sure of what you're buying before you go to the register. Chances are, you're more than likely stuck with what you get after you walk out the door. So it's a risk buying stuff here. If you can't return it, just give to a relative you don't like, or Drop it off at the thrift store haha. It's a cool store to look around in for awhile, they have a gazillion security cameras so they're always watching you. I can see for the furniture. It was hard for me to choose stars for this place. First and foremost this store has some great deals in here and they have assortments of everything. This store shares a parking lot with a market and dollar store. I don't mind coming to this store when I'm trying to find odd things , or Knick knacks or house appliances for cheap but I know I will never find an associate on the floor to help me ever. It's kind of dusty in here as well, and you can tell the stuff is super outdated , they do have tons of scrubs for work at great prices and some of the women's clothing are rather cute. If you're doing a baby shower or birthday and need pieces to work together this is the place to go and it's always been that's way! So many selections in that department. When you get to the register usually it takes a bit, because they have the most outdated registers in history , and most items don't have tags underneath to scan so they have to type in everything individually. It's a hit or miss with how the cashier will act, usually they don't really care about the service, but I've had a few really nice employees help me. So I don't want to be fair. read more

Horrible. They sell primarily 'junk' too! Store is always a mess and half the stuff they sell looks used. I came in here for a mattress frame and bought the wrong one- I went to the parking lot and immediately back in the store before realizing it and was told "there's nothing I can do". I had literally purchased it 5 seconds beforehand. Wow. HORRIBLE staff, completely clueless and unknowledgeable employees - not to mention unprofessional. I was also looking for something for my baby shower once and I remember I was pregnant and used the facilities (restroom). The time I came in to purchase the mattress frame they told me they had no public restrooms (even though I was patron)! So staff is ALL over the place! I probably will NEVER return. read more

This place caught my eye when I shopped its neighbor last week - Save-A-Lot supermarket. Was impressed by what I found at the grocery store, so I figured I would roll the dice and check this place out. This store looks pretty questionable from the outside. The plexiglass doors are marred and scratched and they look like they need help but they impresively automatically opened as I approached. From the outside, you really can't tell what this place is all about. And I can't say that walking inside clears that up either. First off, this place is MASSIVE. Way bigger than it would appear from the outside. The Yelp business listing had this store listed under the "furniture" category. Yes. This store had a pretty wide selection of furniture...and a wide array of other stuff. Random stuff. It would be easier to say that I did NOT see automotive, food or garden supplies here. But you could buy a Sponge Bob pinata and party plates, a door lock set, some Bounty towels, a down jacket, some underwear, a baby carriage and some drapes along with a ginormous oriental-look area rug. It reminded me a lot of Building 19 in terms of layout(there is no rhyme or reason) but without any huge brand names (I once scored a pair of Jimmy Choo's "sample" pumps there for $100 - no joke) This store did have some good prices. A twin over twin solid wood bunk bed was only $200. They also had some great apartment furniture on the cheap. Futons, bureaus, tables, etc. If you are closet-poor, they had some inexpensive armoires for around $100. I would really have to go back when I have more time to browse. Definitely not a place I would bring the kids to shop. It is like a maze getting around the store. Found that a tad unsettling. One way in and one way out in some areas. Gotta be some fire code errors there. Perhaps I would bring my own fire extinguisher next time. Jury is still out for me, but enough interesting items to prompt a return trip to explore. read more

I don't even want to give them one star, but yelp is making me before I psot. This store is the worst store. Ye people think they cheap... But what's the point of having a cheap store when they don't value their customers. The worse store in the universe. Once you buy something you are stuck with it and can't exchange it, return it or get your money back. Even if you want to exchange a color of an item with a receipt, they won't let you do it. Stupid, stupid dumb business.... I had to give my product away because I had no use for it. They also have the worst employees working for them. They have attitude problems and don't care about you. This store needs to get shut down. I will not step foot in this store ever again nor recommend anyone to them. They don't deserve your money. Shut it down!!!!! Found this store while looking for discounted (aka CHEAP! lol) furniture for college apartment. Read some reviews which made me hesitant, however, I took my chances in search of a great bargain! I would def say it is worth a visit to 'browse' through- THEY SELL EVERYTHING! Literally! From clothing/footwear (women, men, kids..), kitchen utensils, electrical outlets, curtains, rugs, to dining room/bedroom/living room sets. EVERYTHING in between. The wide variety of items sold results in what seems to be unorganized layout- those w severe shoppers ADD (me! ‍) will have trouble going to one specific section bc they have so many things you didn't even know you needed on the way!! Depending what you are looking for, in my opinion, would def recommend a visit even if just for a quick browse around for a deal. You never know if you will see that one great find you are looking for! Disclaimer: I did not purchase furniture or any items of significant value this visit so I cannot speak to the customer service or the value of customer satisfaction/retention. I plan to make a purchase of coffee/side tables and will update with transaction details. I will say, considering the type of store and that it is not a 'high end' furniture store, and furniture items only comprise maybe 30% of items sold- I don't and would not hold high expectations of the return policy and/or warranty compliance. They may prove me wrong and if so- I'll update this post. The main purpose of this review was to encourage those who are undecided if this place is worth a visit- GO FOR IT! read more

Terrible service experience!!! I ordered a bedroom set at a great price. I had the set delivered, but didn't pay for the extra unpacking fee, which turned out to be a mistake. Upon unpacking the large dresser, i noticed that a corner had been completely busted in. I called and the manager (Ida I believe was her name) informed me that they inspect the outside of the boxes so it must have been me. This dresser required two men to deliver into my home, so I assure you that I cannot lift it by myself, much less exert enough force to bust the corner! I called several times over the course of the next couple of weeks, and finally, the manager agreed to send a replacement. This time, the men who delivered it opened up the box. Low and behold--this dresser was also busted! I had to have yet another one delivered. Although it was now clear that the mistake was on their end, I never received a call from the manager apologizing for the experience. read more

I got furniture in this disgusting place then when they got home the big one didnt fit and they leave it outside like if im not gonna pay like wth and then i told them i was gonna pay for that in 3 month and just becouse the last pay day was a holy day the extended the loan to a year and 8 month im about to sew this people they think money grows on tree or what,the lady is not respecfull at all ans secretly charge me 45 dollar to make the loan paperwork without even telling me. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Do NOT waste your money and shop here!!!!! Bought a futon here, the springs popped out of it within the first month! The manager told us when we purchased the futon that it came with a one year warranty for "structural damage," when I called to ask for a replacement futon I was told that the model I purchased did not have a warranty and the store has a no returns policy. Overall, dealing with this store has been an extremely negative experience and a total waste of money!!! read more

They have good stuff for a good price, the manager there is not helpful at all, once you buy something they're done with you and even if you have a small issue they just "can't do nothing" for you, make you sign for no cancelation, no refund, no return "no warranty" make sure to know what you are buying cause they don't remember you after they got their money. read more

The worst place ever!!! My mother bought a mahogany chest there.. when we got the boxes to assemble the chest they were taped up as though they had been cut open before. no instructions in the box had to call them to get it. Some of the parts were damaged & the chest couldn't even be put together b/c it was so cheap. When I spoke to the manager (whom I had to call since I was told I would get a call the next day & didn't) I was told that it wasn't their problem that we couldn't put the chest together & there was nothing they could do as there was a no return policy!!! Garbage... management doesn't know how to speak to customers...she is overly pretentious.. There 'no money back policy' is posted on the wall but none of the employee's say it verbally. Most of the products there are trash and brake within days or arrive dented/scratched... when you speak to them about it the manager automatically goes into defensive mode rather then trying to fix the problem and make you feel welcomed and appreciated. She could use a few lessons on manners, business and sales.... truly disgusted when I left this store. read more

I was looking for a cheap new bed and found this place and i know when you look for something cheap you get what you pay for but this place is incredible in that you don't even get all the piece in the box got a bed frame for $256.00 with taxes included and for a cheap bed the pieces were very strong and sturdy and also missing and there was screws and washers missing too i live in Fall River Massachusetts so thats a hours drive for a bed that has missing and can't forget scratched pieces but on a more positive side they do have very nice staff that are willing to help you and they do have some pretty good deals on mattresses like a memory foam for about $180.00 for a queen size and sectionals with electric recliners with cup holders for $2,000.00 but the difficulties with buying a simple bed means this place isn't recommend especially for those that don't have a truck or another large vehicle in case you have to bring the item back read more

Beware! On 11/12/2018, I went into the Providence store with my kids, to look at a daybed, at $450. A man helped me with the measurements and answered all my questions. After deciding I needed to measure my daughter's room before purchasing, I noticed they had some pretty nice rugs and one fit my color scheme. My 24 yr old son was trying to get the last one from the back of the others when a woman approached asking if I needed help, She said if I wanted to look at it, it was hanging up and pointed to the location. My daughter and son followed me over to look. As I was inspecting, the woman brought the rolled rug over and was pushy about me buying it. I was unsure of the size, since I did not measure that, at the time either. The woman disappeared but the kid that was helping her was still there. I asked him if the size didnt work, could i return it for a refund. He said he wasnt sure and yelled for the woman. She came over and they talked in another language, then she said "yes, you can return it for a refund in 24 hours with the receipt. I asked again "so I can return it if the size doesn't work?". She said yes. I took the rolled up rug and headed for the register. My purse was in my car, so I asked my daughter to hold onto it for a minute while I got my purse. My daughter said she received stares from the employees and the security guard that was there, and it made her feel very uncomfortable. We made it to the register at 1:07 PM and I told the cashier that the woman in the rug area told me I could return for a refund if the size didn't fit. I asked the cashier if that was true. The cashier told me I could return within 24hrs with the receipt and the rug back in the original packaging. I was satisfied so I purchased the $100 rug. When I got home, I found that the rug was too small. I rolled it back up and repackaged it like I was told to do. I took my lunchbreak today, 11/13/2018 at 2:30 and headed to the store to return the rug. When I got there the cashier that cashed me out the day before, took my receipt and said she can give me store credit. I became upset and told her "YOU told me yesterday I had 24 hour to get my money back." She waived the receipt and said the receipt showed that the purchase was made at 1:07, so it was now 2:45 and too late, so she couldn't do anything. I got more upset and she said she was going to talk to the manager. She took my receipt and approach a woman wearing a red vest at the end register, talked for a second, then walked back and said she could do it. I pressumed that meant she could refund my $100. She got on the phone and called someone else up to the register and when that woman got there, the cashier told her I wanted to exchange the rug. I stopped her immediately and told her I wanted a refund. I looked at the 2 women and stated "You both told me yesterday, before purchasing, that I could return the rug for a refund, within 24 hrs. They both looked at each other and told me there are NO refunds. I took back my receipt, told them to keep the rug and notified them I was going to dispute the purchase with the bank. So I went out to my car and called the bank. While I was out there, a man came out, that I now know was the manager, with this rug. He asked if it was mine, I told him "no, it belongs to the store and I was on the phone with the bank to dispute the purchase. He said it was not the stores and I could not leave it there. He said I can dispute the purchase if I wanted to but there are NO returns. I hung up on the bank and asked why his 2 employees lied to me. He said they didn't, they are trained on the policy of no returns and they would not have told me so. I told him that they did, and did so before I made the purchase. I told him that both the woman in the rug area AND the cashier told me i had 24 hrs. He said to return or exchage. I told him "No, for a REFUND" he said they told him I was told, I could bring it back for an exchange, within 24 hrs, I said "REFUND!" The manager said he didn't care what I did with the rug but I couldn't leave it in the store, then walked back to the rug area woman, that was standing at the store exit door and they both went in. When I got home from work, my son called the manager at the store. The manager told him of the refund policy. My son told the manager that he and his sister was there when i was told i could return for a refund. The manager said the rug area woman told him that I was told I could not return the rug, left the store but then came back to purchase it anyways. After that, the call dropped or the manager hung up on my son. The rug woman lied yet again! As I stated in the beginning, she told me I could return it, I went to the car to get my purse then purchased the rug. Why would I go back to the store today to return it, if I was told I could not. Great discounts on outer wear wide selection of things for the house and automotive ,plenty of nick nacks for the home etc. Good bargains,i would definately give this a 5 star rating for variety the only thing is the isles should be spaced more in the clothing section but i guess thats beacause they have so much merchandise,overall i love this store! read more

I can get lost in this store. The selection is much like an Ann & Hope, with all odds and ends. Unfortunately, I just purchased some furniture from them - can't comment on how long they've lasted, as its only been a few days since delivery - but their "movers" aren't professionals at all and have no idea what they're doing. They put chips, scratches, dents and a nice hole in my newly rented apartment moving stuff up....that's coming out of my deposit, no tip for you. They even chipped every corner of my new $400 bureau. They make you sign off on the receipt that you received it and that everything is "good" before even giving you a chance to open and inspect. Then they're out like bats out of hell. Upon opening my new couch, there is a nice "L" shaped slit on the side forming a panel that's just hanging. Not happy and will be shopping elsewhere, fingers crossed on how long these pieces last. read more
