If I could give a negative I would, I went and my child picked out a candy as we walked out the store I realized it was expired from back in May 2023 it's been a whole year I went back and asked to speak to the manager the lady in the front cashier said there was no manager so I told her I was just there and the candy we bought was expired she looked at me like I was crazy. She then checked herself and said no this isn't expired the date means it's best before May 2023 I then stated the candy was hard and tasted expired she proceeded to say she couldn't do anything so my only option was to get something else with the same price which I did bc each candy bag was 3$ as I was leaving she shouted make sure the expiration date is still good so you don't come back here and laughed as I walked out. They kick out customers, start bragging & oversharing that they don't get paid extra when staying a bit late, it's literally 8:47pm when they start announcing that the store is closed so I'm assuming they don't clean after closing since it's messy they very next day.Most of their market etc. is expired i would recommend checking before purchasing. read more

Poor customer service on both register employees. The cashier charged me 7.99 for an item that didn't have a ticket. When the same item was labeled for 5.99 . I'm not worried about the money but when I confronted her on the error she claimed the item was missed labeled and the employees messed up but she couldn't refund me the money or charged me the same price the exact other item had. The customer service is horrible all the people that work there act and treat people like they hate their job they're rude and don't care about their customers. They had a sign up on the hand sanitizer wipes stating two for $1 when I got up to pay I mentioned to the cashier that the sign posted said two for $1 she called over one of her coworkers speaking in Spanish and told him to take off the sign, he did so and she told me now they are $1 each I told her but the sign said two for $1 you must honor it because that is the law she broke the law by not selling them to me for two for $1 of course I left them not because I couldn't afford them because of her attitude and inconsideration to her customers anyone that has a problem like this should post it I am reporting it to the BBB because that is not right they should not treat customers like that even if it is a bargain store. I will let all my friends and family members know not to ever shop there, I will never enter that store again. There are so many other bargain stores I can go to. This is a great store. Mind you it's not in the best area of the Valley but who cares? I went to four different places looking for a couple of coaxial cables needed to hook up and extend the cable box. They were roughly $10 plus at Big Lots, Kmart...and the pharmacies didn't even carry them, nor did the 99 cent store or Dollar Tree. But here, they had various lengths and the extension pieces and adaptors here for...you guessed it...one dollar each. They worked perfectly. If there's something you can't find at the other dollar stores come here, it really is worth it, you'll probably find what you are looking for and it's cheaper than spending more elsewhere. Then it will have tag saying either $1.29 or $1.49. Still a great deal. Last week It felt like a steal literally, I got a Rival snow cone maker for only $1.99 , I had to buy 2 of them. Worst customer service ever! I went to bargain world in panorama city on May4 I tried paying with my debit card but the cashier said it didn't go thro because there was another cashier in the back using the debit card machine and they can't process 2 transactions at the same time. I told her it was fine that I would pay cash. But when I stepped out of the store I login to my bank account and saw that it was processing and I went back to show them they said they couldn't do anything about it that I had to wait till it got completely processed. So I was like okay well can I get something in writing stating that I tried paying debit but I ended up paying cash. Well Rolando (supposedly the manager) said I would have to come back and that there was nothing he can do and the paper that I wanted wasn't gonna help me in anything. I'm a manager as well and I will never treat a customer the way he did. I live in Valencia and I'm not gonna drive to panorama city for 18 dollars. read more
