I have been sleeping on the grocery store. They have everything you need for half the prices. I will definitely be doing my grocery shopping now. OK, I'll be honest. I'm going to start shopping here starting this week so I'll come back here soon to let you know about the quality of the rest of the food. When I went here, it was a short visit for just a couple of items. But the cleanliness amazes me and they have all the items like in any other store.

This is my favorite Market. It's always a surprise when I come here every time I come they have great bargains. I love to come here to shop for my kids or snacks for school They have great prices for each pocket . It's not always organized however it's still worth it because of the low prices they have

I'm a regular and just got followed to my car and accused of stealing. Told the manager and she don't care. I walked from the register, after paying, to the sliding door. It was about 1 foot. All the emplyee had to do is ask the checker if the lady in the pink shirt paid. He followed me to my car and demanded a receipt. Pretty sure I have rights and since I was at my car already he doesnt have any authority over me. He reached into my car which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Wouldn't tell me his name. Manager wouldn't tell me his name either. Shamed me in front of everyone when I went back to complain. Don't go they will accuse you of stealing when you get to your car. Ruined my day. I won't be going back. I usually spend at lease 100.00 everytime I go there. If you don't see someone actually take something and not pay for it, don't accuse a regular customer or any customer of stealing. Shame on their practices.

New Grocery Outlet in Winnekta (Reseda and/or Canoga Park adjacent.... depending on the direction you're coming from) is my favorite.... Not only is this store kept immaculate, but the parking lot is extremely spacious with entrances and exits from both sides of the corner of Sherman Way and Corbin Ave where this location is thriving. My go to location has often been the one in Burbank, but it's frequently busy and over shopped... If you've never been to a G.O. anywhere... I definitely recommend starting off here. The customer service is spot on and the layout is what you'd expect if you know the world of the Outlet of Grocery.... They don't just carry food, wine and spirits, but everything you'd find in a typical grocery store including pet goods, electronics, containers and plants to name a few. The prices are some of the best you'll find... As well as brand most know very well at close to half their normal price or better yet... IN BULK. I don't think I've ever seen some of these items in their larger quantities like Sahale nuts (box of 12 individual packs for 5.99), Gardein Black Bean Burgers (box of 12 for 15ish normally four to six dollars for individual bags of 4)... Your mind will race at how much you can save... and the craft beer, wine and misc adult beverages are incredible deals as well. Stalk up on snacks, stalk up your freezer, get a new dog bed for your pup... You'll feel like a winner at The Grocery Outlet of Winnekta for sure. The produce is not bad at all (quality over quantity) and they have some solid deals here as well on par with any other grocer. They are practicing best health practices (hand sanitizer for customers, masks worn, signage for all) here as well and there are people on the floor to assist if you need it... But honestly half the fun is taking your time and learning the layout (a little Smart & Final meets Big Lots w/ a dash of Trader Joe's) and deals on every shelf.

They offer a nice variety of produce, meats, dairy, vegetables, and just about anything else you might need. However, given that this store is in Reseda, California, theft seems to be a major issue. There are plenty of cameras in place to deter shoplifting, and security measures are clearly a priority. Customer Service & Store Ambience The staff here is really friendly--if you need anything, just ask, and they're happy to help. That said, the ambience of the store leaves something to be desired. The moment you walk in, you're met with a security gate that only opens when you're within a few feet of it. Then, when exiting, the other entrance has gates that don't open at all, forcing everyone to go through the checkout lines. On one hand, I understand this as a necessary security measure given the current economy and retail theft issues. On the other hand, it feels unsettling, especially for honest shoppers like myself--I don't appreciate being made to feel like a suspect. Uncomfortable Checkout Experience While checking out at the self-checkout, a bag of cheese slipped from my cart onto the floor. Immediately, the screen flashed with a camera view of me, as if I was being monitored for suspicious activity. A message popped up stating that an associate needed to verify my items before I could proceed. The entire experience felt weird and uncomfortable--I hadn't done anything wrong, yet I was being scrutinized as if I had. This level of security reminds me of what's happening at Target and Walmart, where many products are now locked behind glass, requiring an associate to unlock them just so customers can purchase basic items. Honestly, the way these stores handle theft is becoming excessive, and it's starting to push me away from shopping there altogether. Final Thoughts This is the society we live in now--you're assumed guilty until proven innocent, am I right? Will I shop here again? Yes. Do I appreciate being treated like a potential thief? No. I get that management is trying to address theft, but they still have some kinks to work out. Hopefully, improvements will be made in the future.

Another hidden gem in the valley…read more I saw an ad in the newspaper for $6.99 a pound porterhouse steaks. Now I have never been to the store in person, but I have shopped there via DoorDash. I decided to go check it out for myself. What a find. First of all, it's not one store. It's a little international mini mall. And every single one of the merchants stores is occupied. There is a watch in time piece store. There's an international gift store. There's a dry cleaners and shoe repair. There's a kosher meat store. And I'm not sure what all else but it wasn't just a location for a grocery store. And then I walked into the grocery store and Man was I impressed. The store was laid out beautifully in a very old-school fashion where you could see all the cans in the aisles. The store proudly displayed seafood sign. Meat sign. And fresh vegetables. It was very easy to navigate the aisles as they were not overcrowded with promotional merchandise like most grocery stores. The other thing I like about this stores that you could actually touch the produce. Reminiscent of what you could do before grocery store started wrapping everything in plastic And on top of that I got three porterhouse steaks for $41. That is crazy cheap. This might be the first time I've come to the store in person but it's not gonna be the last.

She was upset about a small sample paper cup that was sitting inside the cart and accused them of throwing it there. The strange part is that my family member was still holding their own sample cup in their hand and told her that. Instead of realizing it may have been left there by someone else, the woman aggressively snatched the cup from her hand, and continued escalating the situation. The conversation was happening in Korean, and she began insulting them, saying they didn't even speak Korean and couldn't understand what she was saying. We are Korean by the way. All of this over a tiny paper sample cup that wasn't even theirs. The cashier seemed confused and was apologetic, clearly unsure why this woman was acting this way. What was more disappointing was that when it was brought to the owner or manager's attention, the response was dismissive. My family member was asked to let it go, not the worker It's concerning that someone felt comfortable physically reaching into a customer's cart and grabbing something from their hand, and that it was brushed off instead of addressed. Unfortunately, this isn't our first negative experience here. On a previous visit, we bought multiple cabbage that turned out to be rotten inside. I called immediately, took photos, and asked if I could return it. I was told yes, but the person on the phone sounded irritated, like it was somehow my fault.
