Our adventure starts during Pine City's city-wide garage sale. We came to town to check out the…read moresales and as we were following signs hither-thither, we came across Stan's Equipment Center and were like, hmmmm. We'd been looking at used tractors for over a year, but hadn't really found anything that we wanted or that fit our needs. We had honestly just decided to start looking at new and there was Stan's pretty tractors, all in a row. It was too late on a Saturday so after the garage sales closed, we came home and found Stan's Equipment Center online and started looking at tractors... and we started to get excited. The prices were fantastic! Using their contact form from the website, we shot off a few questions about the CT1021 and the CT1025 Bobcats and early the next week, Jason started answering all our questions. By the middle of the week, we were comfortable enough to plan to come on Saturday to see the CT1025 in person. Jason was great about answering all our questions via email, which is my preferred form of communication. On Saturday, one week after discovering Stan's Equipment Center, we drove back to Pine City and met Jason and checked out the CT1025 Bobcat. We found it perfect for our needs and the deal was struck. A simple straightforward sale with no games, no pressure, no stress, just some conversation that led to a great sale: a couple of country boys talking about tractors. Our Bobcat CT 1025 was delivered the following Tuesday and we've already used it to clear stumps and move sand (we live in the "Isanti Sand" area. *wry grin*) I highly recommend Stan's Equipment Center for all your land ownership and agriculture needs.

Over the years we have purchased 4 riding mower and chain saw from Boyd's. Have a some repair work…read moredone previously. However, in the last week, our son took one of the mowers that we had purchased there in to get analyzed for blades not engaging. Service slip stated to check out and to call before doing any work. There was a throttle cable replaced without authorization and then stated maybe the carburetor needed to be replaced. Son had already put on a new carburetor. Asked if the original problem had been checked out - No, blades still didn't engage. The mower was returned with the new throttle cable removed, a new hole in the deck for some reason and a swing arm on the mower broken. And - no answer to mower problem. We will no longer be doing any business at Boyd's.

Purchased a new (Black) y-pipe for my Arctic Cat 800 Looked…read moregood, Fit good, but paint/coating quality is poor. The paint started bubbling off after 2 minutes of the engine running. I send them a note to ask about it, and they didn't really seem to care about it. Told me if I remove the pipe and mail it back to them (at my cost) they will look into it, and repaint it. So I am supposed to have my sled "down" for a few weeks, while I remove the pipe, send it, wait, and then re-install. I basically wanted an exchange sent out so I would not be "down" for weeks during the snowmobiling season. If it were summertime, that would maybe work, but they don't seem to care about my down time. Oh well, I guess I will just show all my friends the pipe the way it is with the paint flaking off.
