Firstly, they can NOT tell you if they have a specific part, it would be beyond cost effective if not impossible to catalog every part on every car thats there. What they can do is tell you if the vehicle you are looking for along with any interchangeable vehicles are on their lot, along with a row number. Its up to you to find it. There is no guarantee that once found the part you need will be there, and if there that it will be in usable condition. That said, for me personally there has never been a time where i did not find something i was needing. Its always been worth the trip To be continued

I checked ebay afterward and found brand new taillights for $57.99. so you're telling me I pay more to remove them myself in the middle of winter while 20 degrees out, that's stupid. there were 4 people behind the counter with a line out the door. only 1 person was running a register. they have multiple registers. the people behind the counter just were talking to eachother and doing nothing. this place is a joke, used to be a good deal but not anymore.

They handled the paperwork, paid cash on the spot, and made getting rid of my car much simpler than I expected. I called several towing companies looking for a rough estimate and some guidance on getting rid of my 2010 Toyota Corolla. Since I wasn't familiar with the process, I had a lot of questions, but most places seemed uninterested and weren't very helpful. I found Sell A Junker through Google, called, and spoke to (if I remember correctly) Riley, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain how everything worked, from the assessment and towing to the title transfer and payment. He made the whole process easy to understand. They made everything pretty simple. We set up a time that worked for both of us, they came out to my car in South Minneapolis, looked it over, handled the paperwork, and paid me on the spot. They're based in Maple Grove, but coming out wasn't an issue at all. Communication was great throughout the whole process, and everything went smoothly. I was helped by Seth who was amazing as well, showed up right on time and was super kind and explained everything thoroughly and what he was willing to offer based on its condition. The assessment didn't take longer than probably 8-10 minutes, and Seth ended up giving me a really great deal!! He had patience with me as I finished up clearing out the stuff from my car before he towed it away and provided me an email receipt right away when I asked for one. Paid me cash on the spot and all was smooth and good to go! Highly recommend this place:)

I confirmed the parts were undamaged so I said go ahead And they told me to give them a day to pull the parts. 3 days pass and I can them only to dial with someone else who claimed the first person was way off on shipping and it would cost $600 in shipping alone. I was disappointed and told them I'd think about it. I called back a few days later to say I'd like to move forward with the 3 parts and the $600 shipping. I was then informed I would need to provide my OWN shipping. I told them to send me pics of the parts and started making calls. I got a quote for freight and got the pictures. One of the parts was in fact damaged so I had to reassess whether it was worth buying the bundle of parts from them since I have to do bodywork and paint now. I called back after the weekend and spoke to yet another person, asking if they'd ship just the one part through FedEx instead of freight and he said yes, he has a box that would work. He'd get it boxed up and call me the next day. Two more days pass and I call back and dish to ANOTHER person who can't find any records of this quote/transaction and said he had to look into it and call me the next day. That was 9 days ago. I don't know how this company manages to sell anything with absolutely no follow up or follow through. Maybe they rely on walk in's or local business only but I flip a lot of cars and their prices were fair so I would have been a regular. It's too bad they made it impossible to actually order anything.

The cheapest starter I could find in the area was Johns Auto Parts (which is pretty good usually) at $65 with no warranty at all. Also, I just recently bought two used tires in really good condition for used at $60! This is the best salvage yard I have ever been to. From now on I'm checking here first for used car parts, before anywhere else. It's right next to the U-Pull-R parts off of HWY 65; the buildings are acually connected, but AAA pulls the parts for you and the prices are not much more and come with a warranty.

So I took to the interwebs in search for what I needed. Off the bat, this place impressed me simply by having an organized online inventory and ability to search for what you need without having to call and feel like you're bugging someone. Once I found the piece I needed, I was able to view detailed information about the part and see a number of photos of both the entire car and the specific part I sought. I ordered it on Monday the 9th. * Shipping is free in the States, which is brilliant. * The charge cleared my account immediately, awesome. * The item was removed from their website as available ASAP, very reassuring. * Today, Thursday the 12th, it was on my doorstep. * Packed for maximum protection, and in the exact shape as was advertised. Needless to say, I'm very happy with AAA and would look for more things from them in the future as needed. Because I'm so OCD, the only thing I'd appreciate is receiving an email stating that the them was shipped, and perhaps some tracking info for peace of mind. Thanks AAA!

They don't seem to value customer service and making it affordable, even if you are a repeated customer! There's a manager there who seems to charge you out of the wahzoo. She is very strict in making sure she catches all the 10 pieces to your one part. It is getting ridiculously expensive and unreasonable the way they find ways to tack on charges. What is wrong is where they don't ask you what part of the vehicle it is before just assuming and charging you what they feel is correct. Oh and they don't read back what they charge you for before you pay, before you know it you are charged 15 items when you only purchased 3 parts. Seriously, they find ways to slip in charges without you knowing. Be careful when buying from this junk yard and make sure you understand your parts and question your bill before you pay. Overall, horrible pricing and bad service.
