It has been…read morea week ago now that I was experiencing an emergency with my cat still nursing and me not being able to handle all 5 of them. I had no experience at all with any pet having babies. It became overwhelming with Kitty's anxiety. My stress level was steadily climbing as I started losing sleep. This wasn't good for my many health issues. It was too heavy of a load. I gave MACS a call around 9:30 in the morning. At 10:30, they were taking the family indoors. I couldn't believe how extremely kind, understanding and comforting they were. From the call that I made to getting everyone in their hands, it was all done in a loving and caring manner. I truly appreciated everything. My plan was to rehome the kittens after 8 weeks. My daughter and I were constantly researching what to do and how. We couldn't do it as planned with Kitty's now anxiety. So we very blessed that MACS was there. From my phone call to intake, the experience was nothing but excellent. I even called to follow up the next day. I love what they have to offer. I am confident that they all will be placed in loving families. I highly recommend them. We currently have a 3 year old large lab that is also a rescue and we're looking to adopt a friend for him. We live in the country on a half acre. We have a 8ft privacy fence in closing our backyard. We drove down over a hour to me one of their rescue. He was a st. Bernard Shepard mix. When we got their we tried to talk with the volunteers and it was like we bothering them. This puppy was in the rescue with his bother and it was immediately apparent that he was dependent the other. I asked several times if they bonded pair and they were very dismissive. We ask how long they have had them them and their response was why would you ask that. After doing a meet and greet we told them we would take them both as we feared they would not do well separate. We put in our application and waited to see when they could do a meet and greet with our lab. After a week and several email their director finally call and was again super dismissive and we almost annoyed that they would have to come to our house. We even offered to do a video walk through. She didn't like that we questioned the fact that we wanted both because of what we saw and how attached they were. She said she would go discuss with the board. This evening she sent an email saying that we would be a great home but we should look at another rescue that was compatible to us. All to say they didn't like us questioning them. In all my years of working with animals I have never see a rescue act like this. I hope that someone there reads this and they reevaluate the way they acted.

You know the phase--"oh my... what have we done?" She behaved as though collars, harnesses, or mild inconvenience might actually be the end of her. Somehow--and I mean somehow--the team at Royal Pup Parlor groomed her beautifully and transformed her behavior. I'm convinced a magic wand was involved. She came home calm, happy, and shockingly cooperative. Fast forward to now: she happily sits on my lap while I brush her, gets those dreamy sleepy eyes, and often falls asleep mid-groom. That kind of trust doesn't happen by accident. It happens when animals are handled with patience, gentleness, and real love. Grooming here is clearly an act of care, not just a service. We're so grateful to have gotten her on their schedule--and so are our other pets. We now bring our husky here for deshedding baths and our lab for nail trims. They have the cat mojo in them for sure! My cat is very sweet, but is very shy and when new people come to visit she always runs to the basement to hide, but when Eve came to do a walk through Butters was still around upstairs wanting to inspect the newcomer. After leaving for our vacation Eve sent me a text everyday and a couple of adorable pictures! It assured me that my house and cat were safe. Butters enjoyed their company so much that when we came home Butters was even cuddlier than she was before Eve and Shiloh gave her their love and attention. The room has tons of options for cats to play, even four month old energetic kittens, and many places to curl up and sleep. There's a web cam in the room so I could check on them whenever I wanted, and they always looked content. They got plenty of attention and the price is extremely reasonable -- much cheaper than boarding services where they'd be stuck in a cage all day. Eve also used to do home visits with my previous cat and did a great job with him. She is very trustworthy and reliable, with good communication. Highly recommended!
