Yesterday was our first introductory run with Mark and it was amazing! As someone that has a fluctuating work schedule, it has made it difficult to enrich my fur baby and we wanted to add something convenient and fun for the both of us and Bark N Roll was perfect! Mark was so great with Oso on his first try and really encouraged him to get the best out of his exercise. He truly cares about the dogs and it shows. He gave us great explanations as to what he does, how they're not trying to exhaust the dogs, and how beneficial it is physically but also mentally! Since Oso is a Samoyed I feel like this activates his ancestry genes of pulling reindeer in Siberia which this exercise really enriched him mentally in a way that I've never seen. Oso was way more calm the rest of the day and dare I say even sweeter than usual after his run and I'm sure he (and I) cannot wait to book again! This is the best thing I've done for my dog. Truly. Pitty/staffy/shepherd mix with a ton of energy and a NEED to run. He'll go through toy after toy, walk after walk, but I've never seen him as calm and relaxed after an activity as he is tonight after his first run. Marc is great! I saw his van parked out by the beach one day while driving around & was so curious. I have a pit/mastiff mix & he's about 90-100lbs. I'm not able to walk him as much as I'd like & he rarely gets to run off leash so I thought it'd be a great way to get his heart pumping. I was so happy to find this mobile dog treadmill business. And then I realized it was out in Redondo... Marc was so kind that he was able to give me a spot in the schedule even though I'm in Long Beach! I have a rescue, so she is extremely anxious when it comes to new experiences. However, she's half malinois, so she has a ton of energy. No matter how far I walk or what we do I never feel like she is fulfilled. After her first work out, it was the first time I've ever seen her so exhausted that she couldn't even be bothered to get up. she slept on the floor even through calling her name she didn't move. She also slept through the night which is pretty incredible. I can tell that this is what she needed. walks just are not enough. For dogs I feel like walks are the way that they sniff out and explore but they don't get enough exercise. Great alternative for fun exercise for special dogs. We have an old dog who is a slow mover, but she can go at her own pace and does t have to deal with curbs or uneven surfaces, and is getting stronger every week. Same with our smaller dogs, they can exercise in a safe environment. In the area we live in, there are stories every day of dogs being attacked by coyotes, so we cannot walk our dogs here.
