I require transportation because my primary care physician recommended Valium before my procedure. I have major dental anxiety. My instructions were to take the Valium 1/2 hour before the procedure. I did as directed and the dentist wouldn't see me because I had already taken the Valium. I was outraged at the thought that the one time I had transportation, I could not get this procedure completed and be done with the accompanying anxiety. The office SENT me to a sedation dentist. and put me in the position where I will need to start the process all over again with this new dentist. Furthermore, since I have been seeing the dentist at the Vintage Modern dentistry for an exam, cleaning and X-rays, I'm not sure Medicare will cover that again. I live on Social Security and the expense of another cleaning, X-rays and a crown is beyond my means. I know I should not have become upset with the dentist or her staff and I am very sorry and embarrassed at my behavior. I was just following my doctor's instructions. I am beyond disappointed. I will apologize to the doctor in the staff. Hopefully I'll be forgiven.

At 10:30am I felt a pin prick; next thing I remember is my brother-in-law helping me out of the car at home. Dr. Cooper provided written instructions and prescriptions in advance. I did not experience any pain. The extraction sites are healing normally. I am following instructions for post op care and taking medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Cooper and his friendly staff. My primary care dentist had referred someone else, but I trust Dr. Cooper after the first experience. He is a nice man, compassionate, kind and most importantly a skilled Oral Surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Ho by North Houston Endodontists. While I was really thrown off by the…read morereally outdated office and Dr. Ho's young appearance, when Dr. Ho examined my teeth he came across very thorough and knowledgable and professional. He took his time, explaining everything to me, and made me feel very comfortable. Before he moved forward with the implant, he had me go back to the endodontist to confirm what he felt needed to be done, which gave me an added level of confidence. I gave them four stars, because, the x-ray record that they sent to the endodontist had someone else's image on it In addition to mine. Also, they forgot to give me the preop instructions telling me what to do before my tooth extraction (apparently I was supposed to take the antibiotic before hand); they forgot to send in a prescription for antibiotics ...this created additional confusion after the procedure, because they thought I didn't want to be on on antibiotics; they also forgot to give me the post op instructions. I had to ask for them. When I emailed the doctor to let him know about the confusion and asked him to call me. He never did...my guess is he never saw the email because it was intercepted by the front office staff who didn't want to get in trouble. Also, the dental assistant during for procedure had to take four x-rays in order to get one good one. So in my opinion, Dr. Ho is very good and thorough but his staff needs some retraining and by all means the office needs to be redone. It is ancient. At minimum the trash should be removed from the shrubs that are visible from the dental chair. A little attention to detail will go long way here and creating a better image for the business.
