DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! This office is a scam. I took my 4 year old in for a cleaning. After x ray doctor comes out barely acknowledging me, stating my son needs 8! Yes 8 crowns on all his back teeth, top and bottom. He vaguely points at a black spot on the x ray that didn't look like anything. Dr says he needs crowns on all his teeth and he needs to be put to sleep. I know a lot of dentist overcharge adults but I didn't expect the insurance scam to be ran on children also. I took my son for a second opinion where they found one small cavity that doesn't require sedation. I don't know if Jamboree got the X-rays mixed up or if the Dr just wants more insurance money so they can get more flat screen TVs for the office.... This place is a scam. The Dr was arrogant, rude and as a mother I knew something was wrong based off my child's diet and the care I try to take with his teeth. My child was in no pain, teeth were not black or damaged. I asked the Dr for 8 crowns wouldn't he be in any pain? He replied "I wouldn't expect him to be" probably because there is no need ! I called back to Jamboree to get a better understanding of next steps and was told someone would call me back. No one called me back! Do not take your child here! read more

Do not come here they are SCAMMERS!!!! I brought my 5 year old son here for a dental check up and they told me that he needed 5 silver crowns done. (Mind you they told me this without doing any x-rays) I went to a different dentist to get a 2nd opinion because this didnt seem right to me. His new Dr did x-rays and told me he just needed 2 fillings. No crowns NEEDED AT ALL! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR INSURANCE. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AT ALL. Have been bringing my daughter in here for the past 3 years and service has been declining ! Wait times are HIGH! Appt was at 1:00 pm and didn't see dentist until 2:00 pm. Lack of staff is definitely not the issue sooo many staff members are walking around yet wait times are extremely high. Will be look for another dentist. If you don't mind waiting long times this is the place for you. read more

2 stars because I came here for the first time, I got here early to fill out paperwork and they took almost 30 minutes to take me back to a room. After about 10 minutes in the room a girl came in, did NOT introduce herself nor her credentials, I had NO idea who or what she was, walked in the room and said "I'm gonna brush his teeth " OK? What's ur name? Are you a DA? So unprofessional, and she left the room and I waited another 15 mins and the Dr came in. I don't know about this dentist place. Doesn't make us feel so welcomed. I first brought my daughter here when she was 5, after looking for a dentist that specialized in kids with high anxiety etc. she needed dental surgery and a ton of work and was really scared. They told her to bring her favorite stuffed animal and wear pajamas and she was put under anesthesia for her dental work. They were gentle and fast and she was made to feel so comfortable. She is almost 10 now and she loves coming here. The staff is friendly and funny and the office is so cute. I have a 1 year old now who also comes here and they are so good with small babies. My daughter a 3 year old, has gone to 3 different dentist where they could not fix her dental problems. We were referred to Jamboree and had her dental problems resolved in 1 month, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous about her dental issues. The dental work and quality of care is outstanding. They also took the time to follow up with us to make sure my daughter was doing ok after her procedure. Definitely recommend Jamboree. Thanks for all you do. For those who have had long waiting times remember there is a process to every thing, specially in the medical field, getting records and insurance clearance for your child's health takes time in part to the other Doctors offices involved. We had a horrible experience at our previous pediatric dentist and was looking for a new one. Anytime your child's feelings is dismissed that brings red flags. I was really nervous about coming to a new dentist because my daughter is not good with change and was traumatized by the previous dentist. Don't get me wrong. It was still a struggle with the X-rays here. But do you know what made it better? The staff here. The staff was amazing. They weren't pushy and knew the limitations to take for my daughter. Especially the lady that tried to take the X-rays the 2nd time. Thank you. Even though I was falling apart inside while my daughter was having the ultimate meltdown, they held it together and were gentle and understanding. These are the type of people you want to care for your children and we need more empathic folks working with children. The hygienist was a woman of many talents. Not only did she do an amazing job cleaning the kids teeth, SHE MADE BALLOON ANIMALS! The dentist. Omg so funny and personable. My daughter was a wreck but had her laughing by the end of the consult. I am truly amazed by the positive experience we had here. I feel comfortable coming back and having their teeth cared for here as long as our insurance covers them. Thank you! read more

If you all don't read reviews please read this one and avoid this place at all cost. My son started dental work here they did the normal procedure cleaning X-rays and told us what dental work he needed which included a cavity. They said it was pretty deep so they were gonna try to fill it first before having to do a root canal. When the filling was done he went to close to my sons nerve he said if it bothers him bring him back and we will have to do a root canal. Why wouldn't you do that in the first place instead of doing a pointless filling we would need to come back to get fixed again. My son was in so much pain we came back they took X-rays again he had to get the root canal done. They said that insurance would not cover crown until he was 13 and he was turning 13 in a few weeks so we had to wait to get the crown put on. I told them I did not want a silver crown that I would pay for porcelain. They told me to come in on a Saturday for an evaluation to look at his tooth and tell me how much the tooth would cost. We arrive on Saturday and the person who was supposed to give me the quote didn't work Saturday's so why would you tell me to come on a Saturday? I asked to speak to a manger and they told me she wasn't there either. So they said they would call me with the quote and they never did I had to call back and get the quote myself. They told us the money would be due at the next appointment in order for him to get fitted for it and place the order for permanent crown. We paid cash at the next visits and had to go to fiesta next door because they stated they could only take exact change. At this visit they took more X-rays and made the temporary crown which then came off two days later. At this point fed up with this office I called to speak to a manager which the front desk told me she wasn't there AGAIN I asked for her direct number they said she didn't have one and the only way I could talk to her was to leave a message. I eventually got in touch with her and explained all we had been through she said she would investigate and look into things and told me that I needed to provide proof that I paid for the porcelain crown. Her office never gave my sons dad a receipt and were now telling me that had no record of my 500.00 payment. We also had to go back in to get the temporary crown put on again because it crumbled to pieces. She supposedly had her best dental assistant make the crown the crown literally fell off again within two hours of us leaving that appointment which was a Friday so I couldn't get him in till Monday. I was livid!!! I am steady taking him out of school and taking off work. I email her about the payment and tell her I will not be paying again so they need to find my money. Also set another appointment for temporary. His permanent comes in and it doesn't fit.. they order again the crown is silver after I have paid for him to have porcelain. The temporaries continue to come off and the manger is never in the office. This is a summed up version of what I went through with these unprofessional people. Please please do not take your kids here do your research and find a quality dentist these people do not know what they are doing. Just collecting Medicaid money doing a bunch of unnecessary work and X-rays. read more

If I could rate this office a 0 star I would. BOTH my daughter have been rescheduled for over a year ( rescheduled MULTIPLE times) for sedation work and the staff is so lazy they keep rescheduling and making up excuses EVERY single time I walk in for their appointments. They will literally call me a day before and when I go in with my kids they send us out because some bullshit ass reason. We absolutely love Jamboree Dentistry this is our 3rd time here and we always have the friendliest nurses especially Angela this last time, she was amazing with my two-year-old and my nine-year-old daughters. Dr. Helson was great! My oldest had a small procedure that needed to be done and he had no problem squeezing her in to get it done in a timely and safe matter! The girls look forward to their check ups every 6 months. You can tell all of the staff really enjoy working there and taking care of their clients!
