They insisted I needed a deep clean and lied on the examination by saying my gums were worse than they actually were. They said I needed other procedures and My insurance came back and denied these claims as fraud. They gave me proof as to why they were fraudulent. I have never had this happen before. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they warned me not to go back. I canceled my appointment , but they had talked me into ordering a partial. When It came in I went to pick it up, but they refused to give it to me, saying I need to get a medical release before I get it. The receptionist was so rude and condescending I couldn't believe it. I caught her in several lies before I left out of complete confusion that I was unable to get my property. So in recap, be careful when and if you go here. Watch out for them charging you for things you don't need, keeping you there for hours to force you to make a choice you do not want, bold face lying to you, and then disrespecting you if you stand up for yourself. I went for a exam and was told I need two root canals and one of my broken teeth fix. Ive been in pain for quite some time. They gave me a treatment plan that would cost me over $3800 for these procedures with insurance coverage . There were so available at this time for me to sign and schedule the treatment , they had availability right away for the dentist to do the work. The amount is alot so i checked the charging codes according to my insurance payment schedule and it did not matched. I called them and ask them to please review and double check the codes according to my insurance payment schedule, they did and the next day they told me that the price stands because of im seen a specialist. I then had my insurance contact them and confirm im being charged correctly. My insurance called back and advised me that the new amount for the treatment plan is around $1800 and they should have not charge me more. My insurance advised me that there were dental codes they should not charge me and amounts not matching with what they suppose to charge. Champions then send me the new treatment plan with the correct amount without apologizing for the $2000 difference they were going to over charge me, a blank email with the new treatment plan, how dishonest and unprofessional. Im sure they were piss of they didnt squeeze $200 out of me. Then i called Champions to get the new treatment plan done and the receptionist had to check with someone else , all the sudden she told me they are booked the whole month of July and august ... tell me thats not retaliation and childish?. Im sure that I have been scammed here before in my other treatments where they ask u to sign and schedule right away with out verifying the finances. Ive been a customer for a while , and at least i deserve some respect and consideration when reviewing the finances. The dentist and technicians are nice and great but who ever is in charge of the finances is dishonest, childish and deceptive. I went to another dentist and finally getting my teeth done. Check the dental codes!!!! review your finances before taking on big treatment plans. Over the years, the person thats is charge of financing will pressure me sooo much to get services i did not want such as laser and other therapies not covered by insurance. Out of nowhere, they canceled my appointment and never called me back to reschedule. Yesterday, I went in for a cleaning and also mentioned that I wanted my wire removed. Just like in other reviews, the staff seemed to be in a rush. The dentist briefly spoke with me, then got up and called the hygienist. The hygienist who came in was extremely rough -- I've never had to stop anyone during a cleaning before, but with her, I had to tell her to stop. She never once asked if I was okay and seemed to be rushing through everything. In the process, she even cut my lip. When I told her she was being too rough and mentioned that my previous hygienist wasn't like that, she told me they had fired the previous one. Later, I asked one of the front desk staff, who told me that the previous hygienist had actually left to work somewhere else -- meaning the one who cleaned my teeth lied to my face simply because I complained. She also tried to rush me out right after the cleaning, but I stopped to ask about my wire. It felt like the dentists were more focused on chatting and having fun, removing their pimples than focusing on their patients. They eventually told me to go back to my room and wait, but honestly, couldn't the dentist have removed the wire before the cleaning?

They are great at explaining everything from your cost to recommendations for any procedures or preventative at home measures. They can even fit you in for any kind of emergency! I also like that they seem very organized and don't just have a temp answering the phone for someone else to call you back or put you on hold a lot. Every time someone answers the phone or responds to you, they look for a solution right away or direct you to someone that can answer your questions! I have waited 27 years to get these. My first dentist was a nightmare of an experience. I've had temporaries for 20 years due to never going back there. I went on Yelp and looked for another dentist who had good reviews and found True Smiles. What a difference it was! Dr. Cao is awesome. He's very friendly, as are his staff. On my initial visit, I asked him about my "cracked" crown, and he said there was nothing wrong with it. Dr. Cao has never recommended any work done on my teeth that I didn't need. I appreciate his honesty. At one point, his staff even told me I had a refund coming because they overcharged my credit card during a previous visit. What dental office does that? I would recommend True Smiles to anyone wanting a professional staff with exceptional service.

This was the first time they charged me full price. Then when they received insurance never gave me…read moreany money back. Then after I brought it to their attention only partial payment. Dr. Savita Brenner Dentist office manager Patrick asked I pay the full amount of work to be done, because insurance does not respond to phone calls from him. I received paperwork from insurance company that said they had paid their part. My husband called the office manager on my behalf several times and left messages the receptionist would always say he was not in. Patrick would never return my husband's calls concerning the payment they received and did not return my payment. So they were keeping insurance payment and my payment. When I went in for my six-month checkup, I took the paperwork in to ask Patrick about it. Quote he said that he was glad I brought that in because he could not read the insurance paperwork. (This is his job). Then he had a conference with dentist, and they said they would reimburse me only partial payment back since the dentist had a difficult time taking off the old cap. and they would reimburse me for the rest. If we had not brought this to their attention that they were keeping my overpayment. I would never been reimbursed. I still have sensitivity with the work done, but too scared to go back to a dentist that takes advantage of patients I feel that they will take advantage of other customers. I would hope someone carefully check their paperwork and audit them. April 5 2023 Went for X-rays, cleaning and check up which should be fully covered. They charged me $145. Which after they get there money will be paid twice! Run don't walk from this place. They bought a five star practice so they could ride on a five star rating! April 18 2023 They insisted they credited me back but never arrived in my account. I have same insurance as I have had for years. Since Dr. Brenner's team took over they want to charge me and get money they insurance!
