Highly recommended pet sitter!…read more We met Katie shortly after we had brought our Yorkie puppy, Chip, home. As experienced pup owners, we knew what qualities we wanted, and didn't want in a pet sitter. We struggled to find someone that we trusted with our "baby" and access to our home. One afternoon, we literally bumped into Katie on the corner near our house, and had a quick conversation! That led to scheduling a meet and greet at our home. Chip immediately fell in love with Katie and we loved how thorough she was with all her questions and follow-up questions! Hubby and I immediately scheduled a date night! When Katie & Chip had their scheduled walk & play time, we got the best video follow-up, with a text letting us know how the visit went. Katie even followed up with us the next day to see how Chip was!! Needless to say, we consider Katie & the Nona Paws crew a part of our family. Super responsive, super responsible, and an indispensable part of having a pet!!

First off, I am very impressed with their digital tools from onboarding/booking through the communication with the customer during their service. I saw it on my friends phone when traveled together and Nona Paws was caring for my friends pets. My friend has now used their service multiple times and feels completely comfortable with how they handle the house visits in her absence. The pricing turned out to be too steep for what we needed (long trip and two hrs/day) but it would have been a great deal if we had multiple pets as their price is per hour.

One of our females gets stressed when separated from us, so that part wasn't surprising -- but the other issues were. We received a call that another pug developed a serious eye infection, which ended up costing us about $300 in treatment. Pugs have very prominent, sensitive eyes, so extra care should be taken with them, especially during a very cold week. We were told all three dogs were bathed the day of pickup. However, when we got home, our male pug had a very bad fungal rash on his paws that clearly had been there for several days. It's hard to understand how that was missed during bathing and handling. We also provided labeled, pre-portioned food for each dog with clear instructions. One of our females had stress-related stomach issues, which is typical for her -- but our male pug later developed a bladder infection and started urinating blood, which only happens when he eats food other than his prescribed diet. This suggests feeding instructions were not properly followed or meals were not supervised, even though they were sharing a VIP suite as we requested. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and not what we expected from a VIP-level service. Sadly, we will not be returning.

We reserved an Indoor Suite for our two small dogs for over the Christmas holiday and paid a $100…read moredeposit to confirm the reservation. I received a text confirmation for the reservation of the indoor suite the day before we were to drop them off. When we arrived to drop them off, the person at the desks was going over feeding, pick up date, and then stated that they were at capacity, and because our dogs were small, they had moved their reservation from an indoor suite to a Tiny Town Cabana, which is a 3 foot by 3 foot crate or kennel instead of the 4 x 10 suite and that they would be sharing this space. Two dogs in a 9 square foot space. I stated that that was unacceptable and asked the desk person to if I could speak to the manager. The manager reviewed the reservation and stated there was a glitch in the system and he had seen this on another reservation, but he was correcting it and our fur babies would be boarded in the indoor suite we had reserved. During or trip, we tried and see the dogs on the web cams of the play areas but couldn't, even calling once to check on them and were assured they were in an indoor suite. The morning we were to pick them up, we did see our dogs being taken out of a tiny cabana to go out side and play and then being placed back on to the tiny space afterwards. We drove to pick them up and let them know we were there to pick up our dogs. We were told total for the stay, which is was the fee for an indoor suite. I asked to speak to the manager while they were getting our dogs and viewed on the webcam of the tech gathering their food and taking them out of the tiny cabana. I stated to the manager, the same manager that assured us that they would be in a suite and not a cabana about what I saw and he went back to the cabana to check and see what had happened. He returned with our dogs and stated he did not know how it happened, when or why they were moved into a cabana or how long they had been there and that their stay was free because of the error. That was a nice gesture, but we never would have left our dogs to stay in such a small space had we known, and then to be asked to pay for the indoor suite, that they may have never even been in was wrong. Had I not seen them on the webcam in the tiny cabana, we would have never known, and had paid for services we did not receive. Our pets are like family. Thank you for the free stay, but we will never have our dogs board with any Pet Paradise again. If you should choose to, I would ask to see the dogs actual space, watch to see they are placed and really stay there throughout their visit.

I had never had a large breed dog before, so we knew we needed to hire someone to professionally train him or else he would grow up to be a nightmare and would end up tearing apart my house. Roy took many calls from both my husband and I because we had a lot of questions, and even took the time to give us crate training advice because our pup wasn't old enough to enter his facility yet. They usually take pups at the 4 month mark, but he took ours a bit earlier because I work from home and this dog was stressing me the hell out. My dog came back a changed boy. He listens to me now, not just my husband. They offer LIFETIME support. If your pup is ever giving you issues, they will offer advice over the phone, do a house visit, and I believe possibly take the pup back for a few days if needed. If we ever get another dog in the future, Roy and his fiance Stacey will DEFINITELY be the ones to train them. We even took the pup to our friend's house the night we got him back, and have already referred 2 other people to them.

When we were referred to Ashley, I wasn't sure at first--at the meet and greet I thought, "Wait, Kobe is almost her size!" But wow--good things truly do come in small packages! Kobe absolutely adored her. Not only did she win him over instantly, but she even prayed with him before his dinners (a detail that melted our hearts!). Ashley sent us recorded updates so we never felt out of touch, and every night she made sure his space was washed, tidy, and cozy. The best part? Kobe got to stay in the comfort of his own home while Ashley came to walk him, play with him, and shower him with love. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and cared for. We are beyond grateful for Ashley's professionalism and warmth. Now that we've added our little miniature poodle-bichon mix, Coco Tinga, we can't wait for her to enjoy the Luxe Pet Oasis love too. Ashley is a true gem, and we'll be recommending her to every pet parent we know!

We always taking our dog to get his hair cut here for 3 years already.but this time was horrible…read morethey cut my dog on the stomach area and its deep cut.they never picked up the phone.we had been calling since Monday to ask questions about what had happened to the my baby.well since l never heard anything back from nobody. I decided to put a bad review on the business Facebook account. After putting that review the owner contacts me through her personal account on Facebook.Asking questions and of what had happened.so l send her pictures of my dog and how he got cut.then she tells me give a few mins to see what happened.so l guess she spoke to her husband and he told her what had happened.which was my dog hair was very tangled.so l said if it was so tangled then why didn't you cut that area with scissors if it was that bad.. then the owner told me not to tell her how to do her job because she been in that business for 15 years. (in which l dont understand how that place is still open) but anyways after she told me that l said my dog had a appointment at 9 AM and l didnt get him back after 4:30 in the afternoon.which means that they was trying to cover up what they did to my dog because l didnt even get a call to tell me what had happen to my dog, and to make matters worse they didn't even tell me nothing when l want picked him up.The owner said that yes that was their fault of not telling me what happened to him.but it could've happen to anybody because they was busy that day.and that the cut wasnt that bad.then her husband tells me to take the dog back to him to take care of the cut.so l told her husband oh so now you also running a veterinary hospital.l didn't know they had qualification for that too. So in top of that they was taking care of my dog wound without my consent imagine if my dog was allergic to anything they was putting on him.then owner told me that l signed a consent form saying that if anything happened to my dog under their care .that 5 paws will not be held responsible.so l asked the owner to send me a picture of the paper that l signed because no where in that paper said anything of that kind that they will not be held responsible or accountable if something happened to my dog under their care. So what she send me what a piece of appointment paper stated my dogs information and what type of hair cut he was getting with that's all,and then she sends me a corp out picture of where it says that their business will not be held responsible to anything that happens to my dog under their care.ln which that piece of paper l never saw or signed agreed to that.lf l had read that you think l would have left my dog there.HELL NO that makes me think that if they kill your dog they will not be held responsible for his death.like really who in there right mind will leave your baby that you love so much under their care after read that.so l asked the owner to please send me a picture from the back of that paper that l signed stated that.lN WHICH SHE DIDN'T BECAUSE THAT WASN'T WRITTEN ANYWHERE WHERE I SIGNED.So l told the owner that she is responsible for my vete cost because not only l paid 50 dollars for them to cut my dog but also paid $425.00 to veterinarian hospital to stitch up my baby. after l told the owner that she tells me that of course the veterinary will make a big deal out of a small cut. my dog didn't have no small cut he had a hole where the tip of your finger could fit in it.Then the owner tells me that person that drop off my dog wasn't the same person who picked him up.really l drop him off and l picked him up, and when l dropped my dog off he was perfectly fine.l could see how much control they have of that place.I could imagine how much pain my baby when thought when that happened and she has dogs herself poor dogs of hers.because best believe if something like this happened to her dog SHE WILL RAISE HELL. so after l send the owner the bill of the veterinarian l haven't heard from her anymore. The only thing the owner wrote was she needs my dog vaccine papers for her insurance company. Nothing else. I am not asking for compensation but for them to refund my dog hair cut plus the veterinarian cost. Please guys if you take your dog to this place make sure you not signing their life away. This is animal cruelty place. I will be posting pictures for you guys to see my dogs wound it will be on the photos tab you will see my baby he white and you will see the hole in his belly so please be extra careful with your baby who you leave them with...l believe in karma and it will get to that business and maybe even close them up.
