I've been taking my Miniature Pinscher (Kc) for a while here , and he loves it. He always looks and smells great. Took my Shnauzer in and he was returned with a rash all over his body. At first I thought it was nicks but turned out to be a bacterial infection. On top of that, I was charged a late fee of $10 for picking them up late and a $5 penalty for not bringing the dogs in for a cut in a 4-6 week time period. Talk about hidden fees! The staff is sweet and knowledgable. They take their time in listening to the customer's needs. I took my schnauzer in for a makeover and they did a stellar job. Pricing is reasonable. I would love to give this place a 5 star but unfortunately I don't think it deserves it. Jan 23 was my first time visiting this groomer. They WERE friendly and they WERE fast.. And I was satisfied with their work. BUT unfortunately because of their lack of care while grooming my dog something must have gotten into his eyes. I wish I could pin point and tell you what but I wasn't there. When I called they were polite, but they weren't able to answer my question. What happened? Did you accidentally get shampoo in his eyes? After leaving the vet this morning my poor baby has an ulcer in each eye. $171 was what it cost me between doctors visit and medication. I'm not asking to get reimbursed, even though it would be the right thing to do. I'm just asking that people who are in this profession take responsibility in cases like these. It's not I or them that suffer.. It's my poor Maxwell. I have yet to find a great groomer in El Paso. If you have any suggestions please let me know. read more

Very nice lady and nice place but extremely expensive. I have never paid so much for grooming my dog and cat. I have lived in various states and this is by far the most expensive place, not even when I lived in Virginia where everything is expensive!! I felt I was ripped off and that she just pulled numbers out of the air when I asked how much it was when picking up my fur babies. This place did an amazing job with my friends poodle who had not been groomed in over a year. Horribly matted hair. We thought all they were going to able to do is shave her coat but they gave her an awesome little cut. The staff in my opinion are more dog lovers than people lovers which I can appreciate since they are in the dig grooming business. The reason the poodle had not been taken to the groomers is because she would always snap at the people grooming her and they would complain. The staff at barks n bubbles took great care of her and made her feel relaxed!! I also had taken my ridgeback out there a couple of weeks ago when I couldn't get my dog groomed at her regular spot. I was hesitant to take her anywhere else but after reading the reviews for barks n bubbles I thought I would give it a try. I will continue to take my dog based on these 2 experiences with 2 totally different types of dogs. read more
