A large selection of book well-organized is available in this pristine business. You can seat on chairs if you would like to browse books prior to buy them. Staff is customer-oriented and friendly. Wi-fi is free. It is easy to park on the shopping center parking lot. The store is located a short walk from the Apple store.

Found some good stuff this morning!

This particular location of Barnes and Noble is not anything amazing by any definition. It's the only one in the city, so of course I'll have to settle. If isn't as big as most B&N are (assuming because it is indeed attached to the Augusta Mall). I just don't find the selection here that I feel like I would at your typical stand alone B&N (especially one in a larger city). But, this place does have a DECENT selection I suppose in comparison to other bookstores in the area. Pretty cleanly and there is a Starbucks inside (which I hate to visit because the people sitting over there are always so loud when I come), as well as a section for kids of course.

I preface this review having been to this location on multiple occasions prior to today. I had some time so I thought I would see if any new books were available for a tech geek like myself so I started perusing from the business section to the travel section finally ending at the periodicals and as I stop to look at book titles that catch my attention I notice when I stop, like clockwork someone comes around the corner on the same aisle as I. I love B&N because they have a decent member discount and they are building up more sections for diversity. BUT...Every place I stop, I am shadowed!... Why should this matter you say, well as I made my purchase and stopped at Starbucks to order an expresso, a lady sits down in front of me with six magazines (unpaid for) Guess what? No shadowing! A few minutes later, her husband sits down with three magazines (unpaid for) and guess what..no shadowing! So me being the inquisitive traveler I am, I wait until the couple is done reading and as they leave with magazines in hand, walking in the direction of the magazine racks I notice they put the magazines back and GUESS WHAT..Yep..no shadowing. What gives??

The Book Tavern - The Book Tavern, Augusta

The Book Tavern had that wonderful afternoon hum today, the kind that tells you a bookstore isn't…read morejust surviving but actually thriving. It was busy in the best possible way: people drifting between shelves with purpose, a small line forming at the register, and an author set up at a front table signing books while chatting with readers. Moments like that feel like a quiet victory for local culture, a reminder that #LocalBooks still matter and that Augusta shows up for them. I lingered longer than I meant to because the browsing here pulls you in. The front tables were stacked with new releases and staff picks, and the red dot discount display added that little spark of treasure‑hunt energy. The range of subjects is part of what makes the place feel so alive. Politics and gender identity sit alongside fiction and romance, sci fi and fantasy, table games, cookbooks, and a genuinely thoughtful section on Augusta history. It's the kind of curation that reflects a community rather than a trend algorithm. And of course, there's the upstairs. It's one of the shop's best features. Quieter, a little more contemplative, with shelves that reward slow wandering. A busy bookstore on a weekend afternoon is a small civic joy. The Book Tavern manages to feel both rooted and evolving, a place where Augusta's literary life gathers itself and keeps going. [Review 212 of 2026 - 913 in Georgia - 25401 overall]

On going in we found a beautiful bookstore that has a lot of Southern charm. The bookstore itself is laid out really nicely with books lined all the way too the top. There is also an upstairs section with a kids reading nook area. We didn't find the book we were looking for, but we still found a book. Checkout was fast and friendly, wish that I had pickedup a souveneir sticker on my way out - but maybe next time!

Why would I try to pawn dental gold which is worthless, keep in mind the current bullion cost for 18 grams of gold at 14k is $1,380 I was willing to take $800-900 your loss honestly I will definitely be able to sell them to an actually REPUTABLE business. Poor customer service at its finest, literally asked them to test it for themselves and they refused. UPDATE the next place I went to (Stackers Bullion) gave me $920.85 I guess my jewelry wasn't fake after all. Glad though because they gave me more than these people even quoted me for before turning me around in person.
