Went to Barns & Noble and was looking for some books. They have a very large selection, so I always come here for my books. I asked Katie to help me find some books. She went to fine the books that I asked for. She then asked what type of books I am in to, and then she recommended to me "The Left Handed Booksellers of London." I bought it and I cannot wait to read it. I ended up paying $35 dollars for two books which I don't think is bad. Thank you Katie for all of your help, you were truly wonderful. read more

It seems like really the only time I go to Barnes & Noble is around Christmas time. If I can find something at Barnes & Noble I will buy it as opposed to going to amazon.com. the short story is a dinosaur and it's one of the last so if it goes away we probably won't get anything like it back. We were there to get some baby books for my newborn nephew, and then I spotted their vinyl section. The final section seems to be growing and growing and they actually had a really good selection. I was able to snag an album for my daughter. And then I saw the DVD section. The DVD prices are on par with Walmart and Target. With exception though the DVD I wanted, yesterday, was about $10 more than amazon.com. Knowing that I would probably forget to order it I went ahead and bought it even though it cost $10 more. they do have a member style club where you save about 30% on your purchases but you have to pay $25 to become a member but it ended up being a net gain for us says we overall saved about 6 bucks with a discount and having to buy the membership. The kid that work there did a pretty good job of helping us find our movie but it is a tad pricey. read more

One of my favorite places to got before and after work, it's relaxing atmosphere really is a nice break from the chaos outside these walls. The sellers are always very nice and after I get a book or two I can grab a bite from the cafe. They have a great selection of manga and comic books and what they don't have they can almost always order for me. The company also has a great membership program that I've been with for five years. For 25$ a year you get exclusive coupons, free shipping, and discounts. They also carry vinyl records for broadway musicals which makes my thespian heart very happy. My favorite Barnes and Noble. This place was always fun to stop into. I loved spending hours in the cafe area sipping on my Starbucks coffee and a Barnes and Noble cookie. Highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie from here. You will not regret it. Always has a lot of selections in stock, friendly staff, adn clean bathrooms. Tend to have a lot of fun events as well to attend. read more

Nice staff. Clean store. Good selection. Good coffee. And open late. I've never had a problem with Barnes and Noble. Always seems to have the books I'm looking for (and call always order if I need to) Not sure how much more I can ask for. DVD / Music prices are a bit high, even with Member discount. Better to purchase them elsewhere. read more

A friend told me there is a children's story time at this location on Thursdays at 10:30am. I just moved here, so I called the store at 9:45am to ask about it. A woman answered and said yes, there would be a story time at 10:30am that day. I drove 20 minutes with my child to attend the story time. I asked at the information desk where it was. The woman would not look up from the papers she was reading and said in an annoyed tone that there wasn't one until January. I told her about my phone call just a few minutes earlier. Still never looking up from her papers and in the same tone, she said, I can have another employee read you a story. Such an inappropriate response. Why would I want to sit alone with my daughter while a B&N employee reads us a story? I had planned to buy some gift cards there for the holidays. Instead I left and won't be back. read more

I think it's the best bookstore in town. Very helpful and informed staff. Found what I wanted, and ordered it if it wasn't in stock. Member discount helps but I still spend way too much money. Started frequenting the library more often. But I love B & N. Wish I had more free time (and cash!) to just wander through shelves. read more
