This Barnes & Noble has a nice layout. It's easy to find each section and they have a decent music selection with vinyl and CDs, too There are two floors and it's fun to browse through all of their journals and gift section. I went during the weekend and there were tons of people shopping- it looks like they get plenty of foot traffic. Was nice to see many kids and families- better than being on an iPad or phone all day.

This one is located inside The Commons shopping center but connection is super spotty fyi! Beautiful store and one of the very few left. Happy this one still exists. This one has two floors and they have all the figures and toys upstairs. Kids section and anime stuff up there as well. The bottom floor has a gift section and all other books, etc. If you're a Harry Potter fan, they have a very nice selection upstairs that you can see as soon as you walk in since they have a header of the Hogwarts castle. Great/friendly staff, would definitely recommend checking this location out! IG: @ammysalamii

It's a bit of a drive for me, but a good location in the sense that there's ample parking and other stores nearby. The store's selection is pretty good (especially on the 2nd floor), layout wasn't too cramped, and floor staff were attentive and offered to help us find books (we probably looked lost while browsing). Checkout was another thing. We were lucky there wasn't a queue that time, but the interaction with the cashier felt really rude. It's one thing to try to start a conversation and another thing to judge out loud each book a customer buys. Felt really snobby. I know I don't look like the usual demographic that shops in the area but I enjoy books and read from time to time

My favorite B&N in SoCal. When I need to stop by a supercharger on the way up north I'll usually stop by here and grab a few books each visit. I was lucky enough to run into a fellow ARMY this most recent time to chat up how excited we are for Hobi's concert and for the entire team's return in June.

It's a book store...and in The Commons at Calabasas. What's there not to like. The place is always pristine with large selections of every genre. There are plenty of people either roaming or behind the info desk to help you. Grab a book, order a drink or snack at the coffee shop inside, grab a table inside or outside and read your latest book. Great way to past time. Enjoy you are in Calabasas!

Love shopping at Barnes and Noble. So happy to see this location open and working. Some locations closed and that breaks my heart. I love walking through the isles and looking for good reads. The selection here is amazing including the kids section. Lots of toys too. This store is big, always organized and fully stocked. There's also a cafe on the first floor. Grab yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy your time here, that's what I love to do. Great customer service and location. So much to do around the store.

We love shopping at this Barnes & Noble, Always clean and easy to find whatever we are looking for. I wish they had a couple more employees, sometimes they only have 1 or 2 employees working upstairs, Also at check out , 1 or 2 , But it's a great book store, plus the Starbucks inside is great. Super big parking lot, and loving walking to check out the other shops and restaurants in area.

Is this spot open to read inside the bookstore or is it only pickup right now?

Last time I was there it was open for browsing but I don't remember seeing any chairs to sit on to read

This bookstore is absolutely adorable! It has a great selection of books across a wide variety of…read moregenres and series. They also have a small section with DVDs and CDs, which was such a fun dose of late-'90s and early-2000s nostalgia. I loved it. One of my favorite features was their "Surprise Reads" section. The books are wrapped so you can't see the cover, and each one has a short description of the story or theme instead. It encourages you to choose a book based on the synopsis rather than the cover, which I think is such a fun idea. I've discovered some fantastic books through "Surprise Reads," so I was excited to see they had a section dedicated to them. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They helped me look for a series (The Telesa or Covenant series) that I am trying to get. Unfortunately they didn't have the series but hopefully in the future. The location is great as it is at a mall close to coffee shops to grab you a book and head on for coffee or tea to read and enjoy.

Great atmosphere, cool staff, and really good book selection! Love their social media book…read morerecommendations as well - that's how they lure me into the store. I love their tote bag discount and stamp cards, and if you love books, you'll end up racking up a lot of stamp cards before being able to use them all They also host a lot of fun events like author signings, book bedazzling, and trivia nights. The store is located in the heart of The Village in Topanga and there's ample parking. If you want to read your haul immediately, you'll find a lot of seats just outside the store. The store is also pet-friendly except on days they have pet guests, and they usually post a sign outside.

The metaphysical shop next to Inn of the Seventh Ray is a really nice little stop, especially…read morebefore dinner. It's clean, thoughtfully put together, and has a beautiful selection of books, crystals, oils, candles, incense, and jewelry. Definitely a great place to browse and take your time. The only thing that threw me off a bit was that the person at the front (near the spiral staircase entrance) was having a full dinner at the register when I walked in. I completely understand needing to eat, but it made the space feel a little less open for interaction. I noticed people, including myself, kind of just looked around quietly and moved on without asking questions or making purchases. I actually had a few things I was considering buying, but I didn't feel comfortable interrupting, so I ended up leaving without them. It might help to have someone cover the front or step away briefly during breaks so the space still feels welcoming and easy to engage with. Overall, it's a beautiful shop, just a small tweak in that area could really enhance the experience.

They were supposed to stay open until 10:30pm, they didn't. We had gone in before our dinner…read morereservation at The Inn of the 7th Ray and I was going to go back in to buy a bunch of crystals for a friend whose brother was just killed in a motorcycle accident, to help with her grief, and when we went back they had closed AN HOUR early. I am so upset!! I was counting on getting my friend crystals from there. I even said out loud as we walked out that we'd be back after dinner to buy a bunch of items. Don't expect them to be open when they say they'll be open. Bad business practice!!
