This Target location is off of Ventura and has free parking which is a plus. I visited during the afternoon; therefore, there were plenty of parking spots available. This target is smaller in compare to other target locations, but it has all the same departments as other target locations. Shelves were full. I didn't notice a lot of empty shelves. They had a really great dairy department with a variety selection of dairy products. They had good deals/ sales going on when I visited. This store is like other Target locations has both self check out and cashiers. I was standing in line and nice young lady approached me and opened up a line to help the customers in line. Only ever been to this Target maybe like twice? It's not really convenient but since we were in the area this morning, we decided to drop by! Honestly the parking isn't great and feels a lot smaller than most Targets but the store itself is great and makes me realize I need to come here more often lol! Didn't catch our cashier's name but we bought some wine that was on sale so we couldn't do our usual self checkout. She was super sweet and had a nice little chat! She made sure to double bag our alcohol even though we kept saying it was fine lol but she insisted. This Target had just about everything we needed for this errand run and even some extra rare finds! Usually the Target by us never has any Pokémon figures that just released so we were very surprised to see some here. They also had Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering cards which is another rare find! Usually only Walmart up in Santa Clarita has them lol! They also had Kitsch hair perfume which maybe they sell at Target in general but they had all the scents I was looking for so I grabbed some. I stopped by this Target today while I was in the area. I found parking easily in the big lot this store is in. I was able to find everything I was looking for inside the store. This store is spacious inside and nicely organized. The personal care items are right next to the entrance. The produce is toward the back of the store. There also a decent amount of self checkout station and a Starbucks close to the entrance. The staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. read more

Today, just after leaving the chiropractor, I picked up a drive-up order at the Topanga Woodland Hills Target. Fifteen minutes later I realized that instead of a king sheet set, I was only given a king fitted sheet. I immediately placed an order for the king set again. But I returned to the store to return the incorrect item. My order for a complete king sized sheet set wasn't ready, so the person at the customer service suggested I go to the lower level and pick it up myself or return later. I didn't feel like could do either because of my back. At that point he got the store manager, a nice lady, who called someone from bedding to bring the set up. When it was brought up, it was again just the fitted sheet. At that point, this female manager decided to make it right on her own. She went to the bedding department and picked up the set herself. Her customer service was truly appreciated especially in my time of need. I don't normally ask for special treatment or require instant gratification, but felt this was extenuating circumstances with my back on the verge of going out. I also don't normally write reviews, but I had to write this. I wish I had gotten her name, but I didn't so to the female manager at customer service on Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 AM, I truly appreciate you. I don't like to make my issues someone else's issues, but in this moment of need, it was nice to know customer service and you go above and beyond at Target of Woodland Hills. Slow and terrible service! I usually go to different Target locations but 1 of the 2 items I ordered was not available at my usual branch. I've ordered multiple times after store hours and by 815am the next day, my order is ready. Northridge, Topanga, Granada Hills branches, all on point. I waited until 850am, with my sleeping son at the Drive Up, I called 3 times, no one ever picked up the phone. I finally saw a Drive Up staff and I asked about the status of my order and I informed her that Im willing to wait a little bit longer for it. She replied with "we have a 6hr turn around, I don't know what to tell you", and walked away. I cancelled my order and will never shop here again! read more

I wanted to leave this review to give a special thanks for the exceptional customer service of one of the team members named KURT at this location. Definitely one of the nicer Targets in the valley. Tucked away on Ventura Blvd it can be busy on the streets and be a trek to get to but it's worth it. There is ample parking, the inside of the store is clean and has recently been renovated. Tons of registers, including self check out - so that speeds up purchasing. They seem to have more in stock of certain things compared to say the ones in Northridge, Granada Hills or in the Topanga mall. Plus using the drive up, they are actually really quick. So for selection and aesthetics and service, this might be the location to go to in the valley. read more

My former local Target/Tarjay in every way and whenever I'm on this side of the valley/val-lah (lol)... I definitely find my way into the location of De Soto / Ventura in the City of Woodland Hills. It's large, spacious and well-kept up. They have guest services to the right along with Starbuck Cafe, CVS affiliated Pharmacy, great electronics, beer + wine, and various signature departments. The service is really warm and friendly as is the security on site. The parking lot is pretty large, though they do share it with a plaza and a few small business closer the the De Soto side of the street corner. Seasonal gets shopped pretty hard here, but even then they do their best to make shift and fill shelves and end caps. While this is a one level location it's definitely got the energy of a two and up. I do wish the dollar spot area (directly to the left when you walk in) was bigger in terms of navigating through, but that seems to be a Target signature setup. Overall a tidy and top-notch location as far as what you need, quality and care. read more

My favorite Target location. Faster to get in & out of than other similar stores. This location has a very good layout. Very clean! Ample parking. They carry my favorite hard to find Honeysuckle scent detergent by Meyers. You can find literally almost everything here! They have a huge clothing selection, toys, a newly expanded beauty section, tech, holiday section, home decor, storage bins, office & school supplies. I've purchased many storage bins here! They even have a good book selection in the back of the store. There's a Starbucks in the store which is convenient. I do miss the tables they had in the Starbucks area which have now been removed. The customer service is excellent and usually there are plenty of cashiers. This is one of my favorite places to shop In the valley. The prices are actually lower here on some items than other places. read more

I recently visited the Target located on Woodland Hills and was really impressed by how organized and clean the store was. The aisles were easy to navigate, and the displays were well-stocked with current seasonal items. The cashier who checked me out was friendly and greeted me with a smile, which made the checkout process pleasant. I also appreciate that Target has a great selection of affordable home goods and groceries, which makes it convenient for one-stop shopping. However, I did notice that there were only two registers open during a busy Saturday afternoon, so the line took longer than expected. Despite that, the employees were working quickly and efficiently. I visited Target to buy some props for class, and I think the experience here was alright. I remember back in the day, we were able to scan any items (including gift cards) on the scanners in the store. This was not the case here, and the only way to check was to ask a staff member. The staff member that I had asked ended up getting distracted and spent five minutes. :( This particular target also feels a little larger than normal, which surprised me at the entrance. Initially I wished that I could've spent more time in here because I wanted to explore all the categories, but I was less enthused after the experience with the staff member. read more

I understand it's not Target's mess or fault - it's the neglect of careless customers - but it is their parking lot and they need to clean it up before all of this trash ends up in our sewers and eventually in our oceans. Fully stocked and had really good choices for kids toys but I had already done my Christmas shopping at another Target. I found parking and saw they had a lot of wide parking spaces available. I bought razors for shaving and light bulbs. I did go to the Iphone section and someone asked if I needed help on 11th of December 22. I said I was browsing and that was a great interaction. Knocking off one star because the men's restroom toilet didn't flush and there was no soap. I walked into the stall and it was already full. Waited 20mn & 7-8 cars who came after me were getting their orders (although the idiot female assoc at drive kept running back inside for more items for same cars so obviously other customers had problems before too as I watched them carefully inspect orders & send these shiftless lazy females back for the rest of their orders) but my order never came... honked, waived & these idiot women refused to look my way until finally male assoc was at car next to me so I rolled down my window & said I've been waiting 20mn... one of the lazy females who refused to answer when I called out previously & walked around like she lost something & then came to my window and said WE GAVE YOUR ORDER AWAY YOUR ORDER TO ANOTHER CAR!!!! Here's why I refuse to shop at Target - especially this one. I highly suggest you check your receipt and watch over carefully as sale prices are deeply hidden where they expect you to use the corporate Target app which is one of the most worthless apps in the App Store. Even when you go through all the rigamarole to identify any savings (which is truly an impossible feat - as they expect you to scan each item you place in your cart and then is supposedly carries through when you show you membership barcode at the check out). It never works, the cashiers always debate you as that being the price until you waste everyone's time by showing with in the app. They're deceitful and dishonest and I prefer shopping at Amazon as a result. I sure hope the managers read this both on the corp level in MN and here locally. read more

I love Target, but this isn't one of my favorite branches. It has helped us out in a pinch though whenever we were in the area and needed to reset. We would usually come here to pick up a few snacks and drinks (occasionally at their Starbucks) and sometimes stalled time while traffic died down, also using their restroom before hitting the road again. I did appreciate that they seemed to have kept their restroom open during COVID when other businesses seemed to have theirs closed. Somewhat important when traveling longer hours and with a child. The few things that I didn't care for is the smaller size and layout of the store as well as some of the staff that I came across that didn't seem very happy to be working there. My daughter and I once asked a younger gentleman the location of an item and he hurriedly told me to find another worker to ask because he was on his way to lunch. He looked like he couldn't be bothered. I would think it wouldn't take much to say "aisle 4" or something like that, but whatever. This branch works in a pinch, but I wouldn't come out of my way too shop here. read more

This location offers drive-up pickup which is so nice. Also, there online pickup is quick and super easy. The inside is neat, organized and clean. They have self-checkout which is great. Be sure to check out the ends of aisles. This is where you'll find discounted items. Ample parking in the lot. Easy to access from both De Soto and Ventura. There's a light at Ventura that makes it convenient to come and go. Although there's always beggars that stand nearest the left turn lane with their request for money signs. There's a Starbucks inside and some other place (cant remember the name) that sells pizza and sandwiches. read more

This Target has been my go to for almost 18 years, but not anymore. It is dirty, shelves barely stocked and shoplifting happens without any consequence. I saw three people walk right out last night with their carts full, without paying and security did nothing to stop them. The other thing that happens constantly is very large teens/20 something year olds block the exit and aggressively try to get you to buy candy for their "Football" team. It's not safe. I'd rather pay more and order from Amazon than risk getting robbed in Target's parking lot or even inside the store. So this is our go-to Target, we are here constantly and have never had any issue. Today my boyfriend and I bought a coffee grinder and got home to get our coffee ready for tomorrow morning. It was still in the plastic bag it came with but it was full on used and still had ground coffee in it! With or without this pandemic, that's disgusting! It's so gross just knowing we opened up an object that had been previously touched and likely not sanitized at all during this COVID stuff! My biggest gripe is they did nothing to really make anything better except to offer us an even exchange for another one and said they'll try to trace the people that returned it down to make sure that they didn't test positive for COVID. Be cautious if you're buying any home appliance stuff here! They told us they don't put those types of objects back out for sale after they're returned but obviously, the quality control here isn't monitored well. read more

Jazmin, a night employee at this Target, was working the grocery isles and when I told her my story, she offered to go and check their inventory in the back. A few minutes later out walks Jazmin with a big smile and the much needed green jello as you can see in the pic below. What a relief and what a beautiful gesture on her part. Thank you Jazmin.
