I actually love this place. Even though it's a chain, I feel like it's a friendly bookstore. The space is so clean. They have a great selection (lots of material about Florida, coral gables, miami) and the workers are so diligent and smart. The workers in the children section are less uptight than the other bookstore in the neighborhood I saw a customer abuse the cashier. Please don't do abuse the staff. They're working incredibly hard. Give them some grace and compassion Excellent location Parking in the rear

The store has "free parking for customers" but Barnes&Nobles has a contract with the Whitts Tow Away company, and just for business they tow away paying customers as well! Not even by showing my receipt of purchase and being found on their store camera recordings the store manager did nothing to help me. Scammers! Never park in the back and look out for that guy calling the tow truck. That night I saw 6 cars get towed and there was another paying customer that was complaining they got their car taken.

Our next family food adventure take us to Barnes & Nobel located in Miracle Mile in Coral Gables  with a category of 4.6 and more than 3,048 reviews, this library offer you a little break time from the noise city after a tired walking around day. After you see all the stores and restaurants what you want is some time to take your shoes and relaxing reading a book or better drink a coffe a Starbucks and to charge your energy you eat some dessert from the coffe shop inside the library and that what we doing. Everything you want to read is in here high recommend place if visiting the heart of Coral Gables (Miracle Mile).

Unfortunately, it looks like book store might soon be a thing of the past. So I am extra thankful for this Barnes & Noble and try to support the store as much as I can. They have a huge books section for kids where you can sit down and read some of the books. There's also a huge super cool toy section. The store has its own cafe which serves Starbucks coffee. You can also get cute gifts for friends and family here. There's complimentary parking for customers in back of the store on Andalusia Ave.

Spanish section featuring plenty of classic Latin American authors.

ENG: Amazing place in an amazing location. Large selection of books in both English and Spanish. Costumer service in both the coffee shop and bookstore was great, albeit some parts of the cafe would benefit from a thorough cleaning. ESP: maravillosa librería/café que cuenta con una gran selección de libros en español con énfasis en autores hispanoamericanos. Buen servicio al cliente tanto en la librería como en el café.

I love this bookstore, I mean I come here pretty much every other day. I love books and they have a lotta of that. Usually they have all the books that I look for and if they don't they could order it for you in the store and have it delivered to your house. I think the whole bookstore is nicely organized. Also a great thing is that if you become a member you get 10% of in everything even in the cafe . I love all the girls that work in the cafe they are all super sweet and helpful. The latte I usually get always taste great ! Also the yummy baked goods they have like the new s'more cookie omg!! Deliciousness!!! The cafe seats and tables are quite cute; maybe it could use a little updating but I like to think everything that is a bit outdated gives the place character . Overall must give 4 lattes and books I must be in heaven stars

This is to be the biggest Barnes and Noble location I have been. With a vast variety of books, videos, magazines and much more. You can always go to their customer service and ask them for the book you want, they will look for you and if they have it they will even bring it to you. If they don't, you can reserve it and they will call you yo pick it up. On the left side of the entrance they have a Starbucks cafe with tables for your convenience.

When are they opening again?? This is my therapy place! Love this bookstore and miss it soooo MUCH‼️

They have been open for the past few weeks. Special schedule though: M-Sat they are closed by 5:30 p.m.; Sun until 6:30 p.m. They're very solid with the store pickup system as well, just in case.

    Do they buy used books?

    No they do not.

Does the cafe have tables where you can sit and study?

    Yes it does!

I was happily surprised at the authenticity of the "OG viet deli" option. It came with ingredients like cha lua and head cheese. I also love pate and this sandwich was absolutely packed with it. It was finally topped with tiny red chillis instead of the jalapenos I usually see in the US which I prefer since the pack a spicy punch. Though the sandwich was definitely not as spicy as I'm used to. The bread is also way thicker than I'm used to but it was fresh. I could not eat it until a while later and yet because it was all cold cuts, the sandwich was still quite good. Overall very well put together and service was friendly. My one qualm is that it is way more expensive for banh mi than I'm used to so this would be more of a place to go if I wanted to treat myself.

The book was in very nice condition and very reasonably priced for what it was! I will say, if it's busy like it was when I was there, you will have to scooch past people multiple times because the two rows of books are basically only large enough for one person standing sideways. Mitchell Kaplan founded Books & Books in 1982 in a 500 sq ft space in Coral Gables when he realized that he loved books more than going to law school. Somehow this independent book seller has managed to stay in business in a time when most books are bought online. One of the ways they have stayed relevant is by hosting over 60 author events every month. Books & Books sponsors one of my favorite events every November, the Miami Book Fair, when 300 hundred authors converge on the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College for a week of one of a kind literary events. The fair was started in 1984 by Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus President, Eduardo J. Padrón and Mitchell Kaplan in partnership with the Miami library system. Many famous people, artists, athletes, politicians, and celebrities have come to Miami to speak about their books at the fair. It is now the largest literary festival in the country. As soon as you walk in the heavenly smell of books engulfs you. I wish they sold it is a perfume. On the wall and tables are a good selection of the latest best sellers, popular fiction, children's book, and non fiction. They also sell reading glasses.
