I spend too much money here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish B&N corporate would take a little bit of pride in their possession of this store and invest in new carpet or engineered hard wood, throughout to make it look sophisticated & Noble...& academic. That should be the vibe they are striving for if they want to market usefulness to today's individual. In addition to that, the retail experience is about just that, the experience. This place needs remodeled badly to compete with online retail. Why would I leave my house to stare at their carpet stains. They also need more seating. I think if they started price-matching Amazon that would be a plus as well. They need a landscaper to come dig out the dead plants so that they don't set fire after someone throws their cigarette on them & the car next to the plant "spontaneously combusts" (set fire,lol) and then B&N get sued. I want this place to stay in business so that they can continue to take all of my paychecks. read more

I love this place. The magazine section is huge with lots of great titles. It's easy to browse through all the new hardbacks and paperbacks. They have an amazing kids section too. I love the sections like "Books Everyone Should Read", "Books To Lift You Up", or"Current Events." But it's the poetry section I want to write about. It's easily the best in Oklahoma! So many great new and old authors. I would love to buy them all! But that brings us to the one problem..price. They can't beat Amazons prices. If they could at least match the prices then I'd probably max out my credit card. read more

Management is obnoxious. Literally go anywhere else to buy books. We were told on the phone that a return was possible for store credit (which is what we wanted). Only to drive all the way there and be turned away immediately because "there's too many books". Never shopping there again and will encourage others to avoid read more

This was my Barnes & Noble for years before I moved out west, and every time I am back visiting, I am drawn to return. My son and I have spent HOURS and HOURS at this location, and this week, we were right back at our spot. He was just a little guy when we started coming - and he shared my love of reading. We have been to Harry Potter releases here, and have just spent time sitting quietly and reading beside each other. From a kid with soda, to an adult with coffee - I have watched my son evolve here, as well as the store itself. Totally re-done since I was here last, I find the new Nook section a great addition. The cafe is unchanged, and all seats are full, as always. I noticed that this location, like my new ones in CA have removed most of the seating, and I don't like that at all - nomatter what the location. The staff is friendly here, and I always love to just hang out. I grabbed some fun travel books for the kids for the long trip home, and left a little piece of my heart once again, as I left at closing with my grown up son holding the door for me. read more

A great place to get a book , some coffee and put your mind at ease.... they have tons of books for adults and a children's section, Nooks, toys, music and games. Customer service was great, everyone on the floor made sure I was able to find what I needed. Which was books by Elizabeth Gilbert's. I never had a problem here and recommend this store for those who still like to pick up a book or to study :) read more

Rude staff. I have bought almost every birthday gift for the kids in my boys' classes here for almost 10 years. Every time I go in the service is slower and the staff is ruder. Last week I went in for 4 gift cards. I spent $65 and paid with a $100 bill. The clerk was super annoyed and just kept saying she didn't know why people carried $100s anymore. My change was $35, so it isn't like I paid with a hundred after only spending a few dollars and was taking all the change. It was 1 $5, 1 $10 and 1 $20. Guess the kids will get Target gift cards from now on. read more

Honestly every time I go here I can never find anyone to help me. It really makes me sad to see bookstores closing as they are my favorite thing, but as I waited in line at customer service today--with ONE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME--and the representative taking her sweet time, I literally ordered the book I wanted on amazon from my phone and left the store. read more

I've gone to this Barnes and Noble for over 10 years, and have always loved it. It's clean, classy, safe, and offers a nice variety. There's a wide variety of books, magazines, journals, some gifts/stationary and desk accessories, study guides, board games, etc. But, WHERE ARE THE CHAIRS??!?! Seriously, where are the chairs? You can't comfortably browse through books to buy. There's nowhere to sit except on the floor. Notice how many people sit uncomfortably on the floor. The bookstore as a destination draws customers, and you can't have a destination without seating. Seriously. I no longer have any reason whatsoever to invite friends to Barnes and Noble for coffee and some book browsing/relaxing. We can't sit if we go! So, if I go to Barnes and Noble now, it's only me. I hurry in and out. I don't buy coffee. I don't browse the board games, stationary, desk accessories, magazines, or random book aisles anymore. You can't even sit down anymore! Like I said, I've loved this bookstore for years, but I just have no reason to go if I can't comfortably SIT DOWN and browse through books to purchase anymore. I'm stuck uncomfortably standing trying to browse books before I buy them. Why would I do that? If I can't comfortably sit down at a real book store to buy books, I might as well buy books sight-unseen online and save myself a trip to the bookstore. The bookstore is no longer a destination to meet for coffee, hang out with friends, study, or just go for an afternoon to relax. There's nowhere to sit! I have no reason to go there if I can't sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. It's the VIBE and atmosphere that lures us to bookstores these days. Otherwise, we would just buy books online and save gas money. I go to the bookstore to grab a cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable seat, and browse over books. Bookstores are going to lose customers if they keep trying to turn into a Walmart of books where we hurry in, buy one book, hurry out. It's the atmosphere that lures us to bookstores-- and that atmosphere means comfortable seating, coffee, soft music, and books to browse through. The Nook e-reader section is nice. The kids section is just huge, and it's unfortunately no longer closed off. There used to be an "entrance" to the kids section so kids could browse through any kiddie aisle while a parent could easily stand by the entrance. Now the kid section is between adult sections with no "kiddie entrance." Kids sections should be partitioned off. Partitioned off kids section with their own "entrance" make kids excited about going to their corner of the bookstore, and allow parents to shop without their kids running off so easy. Board games are spread throughout the store. The kids section is too large, and there are now kiddie play tables with cubes. Really? Kid seating but no adult seating? There are so many tables in front of the entrance that it's now overwhelming. You see desk accessories and all sorts of other stuff when you first walk in-- instead of seeing books. Um, it's a BOOKSTORE. I love the desk accessories, but they should be on the left side of the store like they used to be-- not front and center. If I could sum up my review: BRING BACK THE CHAIRS and you'll bring back the customers to the bookstore. read more
