Washable Laundry I…read moream writing this review to say that Washable Laundry in Bend, Oregon is the loveliest laundromat I have ever had the pleasure to patronize! It is immaculate, modern, and well maintained, it has an excellent location and great parking, and on the day I was there it was cared for by a wonderful attendant (a blonde woman whose name I did not learn) who was constantly cleaning and providing help to everyone who needed it. I assume it is not the cheapest laundromat in Bend, but every penny has clearly been reinvested in the the machines, the facility, and the service. And the money is going to good people, because the attendant told me that the owners are the nicest people she has ever worked for. Laundromats aren't normally the most enjoyable places, but I will actually look forward to the next occasion when I need to use the services of Washable Laundry!

I didn't see any machines with any "out of order" signs. It's been years since I've had to go to one so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as prices go. I don't know if it's reasonably priced for the area or not but I just needed to wash a king size comforter and it cost me just under $11 to wash (I paid a little extra for an additional rinse cycle) and $3 to dry for one hour. The parking lot is really small and street parking is a hot commodity, with the food truck and tap room spot across the street, but I found a spot in the Washable parking lot right when I pulled in on a Saturday afternoon! (I tend to have really good parking karma). Speaking of the food truck spot across the street, THAT was a cool benefit of this laundry-mat; food and drinks while you wait?? Yes, please!

She showed up on time with all the required tools to do the job. I left after an hour and came back to the best job any house cleaner has ever done for me in my 61 years of life. This landscape company was hired to aerate, Thatch and edge, our yard as well as pick up…read morePineneedles that were already raked into piles for them, pull cheat grass and remove an existing hop vine. They came over and managed to aerate and Thatch, but never edge the yard. Had to call them multiple times to get them to come back and edge the yard. They also weed wacked the cheat grass instead of pulling it and left the remains all over the landscaping. When I asked them to come back and finish the job they said they thought the cheat grass was from the neighbors and they ran out of time to complete the hop vine removal. Terrible company who is trying to do the least amount of effort with zero quality or attention to detail. They also gave us a bill $100 higher than the estimate because it took them more time than they thought to pick up piles of pine needles after we spent 30 minutes going over all the tasks we wanted the night they gave us the estimate. They're lazy and not quality oriented.
