Technicians spend very little time on-site and seem to provide inaccurate or incomplete information. The technician was at my home but made errors with the paperwork, which resulted in my work order being incorrectly closed. I then had to go through the owner to have it reopened, which was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. After months of frustration and no resolution, I had to bring in another local appliance company, who quickly diagnosed and properly fixed the issue. Polished Appliance was a complete waste of time. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable or professional service. I would strongly recommend running from this inept company and save yourself the frustration.

They are factory authorized by most, maybe all, major appliance companies so warranty work is covered. For out of warranty work their prices are fair and reasonable. The administrative management team is great for scheduling and follow up. The technicians arrive when they are supposed to and always get the job done. If you're having premium brand name appliances serviced and Technician Ken West shows up you will be particularly fortunate. Ken has been at our homes in Bend several times over the last fifteen years, including today when he once again was able to diagnose and resolve the problem all in one visit. Ken has many years of experience (he also once worked for Johnson Brother's Appliance), he knows his stuff in technical skills and he is simply the nicest guy as well.

I had to pay an idiot penalty…read more I am normally a fairly handy guy and like to DIY as much as possible... Well sometimes that can go wrong. I took my broken washer apart and found a jammed pump inside. I ordered a new pump and when it arrived sooner than expected I was so excited I slapped that puppy in there and wrestled the cabinet back on the machine. This was a refurbished machine when my wife bought it several years ago and the cabinet had been damaged (bent outward slightly) which made replacing it very hard and frustrating... even for Lance, but I'll get to that in a second. I wanted to get our laundry going and started a load. Turned out that when I went to start it the tub filled and then nothing happened... Shoot! I had had enough of the "fun" of getting that cabinet into place that I wasn't about to open it again on my own and wrestle with it again... so I called Lance and Sandy. Lance came out and was perfectly friendly and nice. He knows what he's doing as he quickly got the cabinet off and found the problem... I forgot to plug the motor back in when I put the pump back on the motor!!! Damn it! Kicking myself for this one. Lance was cool about it. I helped him with putting the cabinet back on when he was done trying just himself for about 15 minutes. Live and learn, Dave.
