The first time they just gave me the wrong prescription. The second time I was unable to read my computer. The third time one lens was different from the other lens. After three failed attempts I asked for a refund. The office manager said I would be refunded in 4-6 weeks, but was not very cordial and implied that it was my fault their prescriptions were wrong because I shouldn't expect to be able to read a computer with reading glasses. This is not true and any google search will tell you reading glasses are for reading the computer as well as print material. I was very unhappy with my experience at this Optical Department and I still haven't received a refund after two months. I called their head office and they informed me that the refund wasn't forwarded to them and that it will take another 4-6 weeks.

She needs the prism lenses, and while we've been waiting she has been dealing with severe headaches. That's why getting these glasses was important to us in the first place. Delays can happen--I understand that. What I don't understand is promising roughly two weeks, letting more than a month pass, and not contacting the customer with an update. When someone's health and quality of life depend on getting the correct prescription glasses, communication and follow-through matter. I was told there would be a cost of $50* to get a copy of my prescription, and it's not covered by insurance. * in addition to the office visit charge The other issue was regarding co-payment and, once again, the receptionist and the office manager insisted that I HAD to pay the co-pay. I have dual insurance coverage, which means the secondary insurance picks up the remaining balance not paid by the primary insurance. This has been the case for me for the past seven years. Both women insisted this was incorrect. I paid! Now, two weeks following this encounter, I was not surprised that the co-pay was refunded back to my account ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knew, hmm, guess I did! They didn't call so after a few days I called them. They told me that they couldn't mail it to me because it was the Green Valley office??? So I asked if they could email it to me. She said that they didn't have secure email. The only secure email is encrypted so I stated to explain how it works. She almost immediately interrupted me. I asked her to please let me finish. I tried again and she interrupted me. Asked again and was interrupted in the middle of word. Wasn't even listening. So, I said good bye and hung up. They have always given me a quality examination but how can you put up with total incompetence?

I went there for cataract surgery. My choice of Dr Carlos Diaz was without referral and à wonderful expérience. He is professional, caring , very meticulous and listened to all my concerns. So respectful yet diligent about his pré op requirements for my particular case. Hes very highly credentialed. Chose the best surgery for my eyes. The surgery center was very professional , caring and attentive to my needs right before surgery. Dr Diaz is so excellent that after each surgery I immediately had a clear correction of vision without any bruising redness or selling. Just leaving surgery that is. And so far my expérience with the optometrist Dr Olsen has also been wonderful. I had an optometrist in Fl for 30 years so the switch has not been easy. But I think he is also kind and caring and very professional. I will continue with him from now on if I can. So for anyone who wants an amazing cataract expérience, choose Dulaney Perkins and Dr Carlos Diaz for the best possible results. I kept mentioning how nervous I was to get this done but they just made me feel so comfortable from the initial consultation to the post op appointment! Dr. Nelson did a beautiful job on my eyes and he also made me feel so calm and comfortable in the operating room. It is a fast procedure but it is life changing!
