Absolutely the worst company. And maybe the worst people I've ever met in my life. I will sum it up…read morelike this. The younger owner, treated my grandmother casket with so much disrespect. They didn't seal it properly and there were large scratches on both and when it was brought to his attention he looked my aunt and I dead in the eye and said it wasn't his problem, because it wasn't his casket. We would've bought it from them but they refused to find the caskets we wanted, so we bought beautiful and amazing caskets online for a fourth the price. And because they didn't have what my mother wanted, they made her feel awful about wanting something patriotic for my veteran grandfather and something with pink roses for my lovey grandmother. Wouldn't you want everything to be perfect if you lost your mom and dad? After find the perfect caskets online, she had them delivered there, but they wouldn't unbox it because it wasn't theirs. Not only that but they were ugly on the phone and made my mother feel even more stressed in this time of grief. They could have been nice about it, said they couldn't for legal reason. But no, they made my mom feel horrible about not buying the casket with them. And on another note, upon strict instruction to make it a closed casket viewing, my family walked into mourn... with the caskets side open. And then I overheard him getting mad because it wasn't his problem, as he begrudgingly fixed the caskets in front of me and my sister. I was appalled, obviously, from all aspects. How is it that anything I said remotely okay... We lost both my grandfather and grandmother... and my family was in so much pain. To be treated so disrespectfully, and to be brushed off like that. It's unforgivable. If you're reading this, chances are you lost someone you loved. And I am so sorry, I know this my be so hard on you. So I urge you to think about your mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, sister, brother, son or daughter.... anyone you love. And think... how would you want them to be treated? I've put below a picture of the boy who did all these things. And treated my family the way he did.

Gus took care of my mother in law a couple years ago. She looked so rested and no pain on her face. There was no doubt that my mother in law was there. Before her, he took care of my nephew. Gus took care of all the arrangement of getting the body released and transported from Texas to Kansas. Most recently lost our 18 year old niece. Again Gus took care of all the paperwork and transportation. His people made our little girl look so beautiful. Again, even after some trauma, she looked exactly and as beautiful as she did in life. On the business side, Gus and his family were so companionate and forthright with all the arrangements. All fees were disclosed without question. He gave us multiple choices without overwhelming us. Not once did we feel that we were being sold or worse, oversold . I do feel in one decision he discreetly steered us toward what he might choose. The choice saved us anxiety time and money. After each funeral, his team made sure all the flowers were transported to graveside and the ones that need to come home did. Highly recommended. We will use him when we have future needs.

Eagle Memorials - Richard was a dunk hunter at heart, and Terry was able to capture that and even included his dog Dusty.

I would give this company 10 stars if I could!!!! I've used Eagle Memorial several times, and…read moreevery experience has been outstanding! The quality of their work speaks for itself, but it's the care and thought they put into each piece that truly sets them apart. Creating something that captures the spirit and personality of a loved one isn't easy, and it takes time -- but with Eagle Memorial, you know it's being done with heart. Terry, the owner, is not only an incredibly talented designer, but also one of the kindest and most respectful people I've ever met. I honestly don't know how he and his team work with grieving families every day with such patience, dignity, and compassion. It means more than words can say. I only trust this company to provide the masterpiece that my family deserves once they leave this world. If you want something beautiful and meaningful that truly honors your loved one, I can't recommend Eagle Memorial enough.

I usually don't take the time to complain about a business, but our experience with Eagle Memorial…read morein Tonganoxie, Kansas, has been extremely disappointing. We ordered a headstone for my mother and needed a bronze piece for the top. In December, we were told it would take approximately 8 weeks, which would have put the expected completion around February 16. Since then, we have been given excuse after excuse. We were told the bronze piece arrived bent and had to be sent back to be remade. We understand that things can happen during the manufacturing process, but the lack of communication has been unacceptable. Eagle Memorial does not answer their phones and does not return calls. My father was told that the headstone would be delivered and installed last week. When he went to check on it today, it still had not been delivered. I was then told that the "bits" needed for the installation were not good enough at the shop and that the bronze was at his house. That makes no sense, especially because I personally saw the stone at the shop. This has been incredibly frustrating and upsetting, especially because this is our mother's memorial stone. Families should not have to repeatedly chase down a business for answers or wonder whether they are being told the truth about something so important. Whatever you do, think very carefully before doing business with Eagle Memorial. Based on our experience, I would not recommend them to anyone who wants reliable communication, honesty, and respect when handling a memorial for a loved one.
